We brought them home Friday the 30th of December. They went into hiding and decided to come out that Sunday. Now they are the run of the house LOL. The people that helped us were very friendly and they make sure the animals are going to a great home. I recommend this place for your next fur baby weather it's a dog or cat you will not regret it. Thank you for taking care of Abigail and Joe now Bo till they came to our home. The Watson's.

I would like to say I was happy with the two cats I adopted. Then we adopted two dogs, and we had…read moreno clue about the breed. Thay were dogs that work with cattle. They were very beautiful dogs; our only mistake was getting two at one time. So, we brought them back to the shelter. They seemed disappointed, But we thought we were doing the right thing. They both found a home and I'm very happy about that. But we went to adopt another dog and they turned us down, said this dog was very energetic and would not be a good fit for us. To be judge n jury to people who wanted to adopt an animal out of the shelter. We were very upset and still see it up for adoption. We have a awesome dog at home and she is trying to play with the cats. The cats don't want to play with her, since she is a lot bigger then them. We have a 1/2 acker yard for them to play in. My animals are spoiled, ask my friends. So, if you're going to be that way with people, maybe you should find a different job. So, if you're looking to adopt an animal, you should go to Hernando Sheriffs adoption center.

I went to the Humane Society of Pasco off of Harmon three times with intentions to adopt a dog…read more Three times I went they were closed and I went several more times and they were still closed even though the sign said they were open, but they were closed. So I happen to just cut through Harmon on my way to Publix and saw they were open. I went inside and I still wanted another dog. They had several dogs that I was interested in and there was a dachshund that was a little bit older, but I was very interested in him because he was a dapple and I love dapples. When I met the dog, it was like we were made for each other. But when I told the people at the counter, I was interested in adopting the dog right then, they told me they would put me on a waiting list because there were six other people in line for this dog. They could have told me this to begin with and not got my hopes up. So once again, I left without a dog. I went back two more times and I strictly told them no Pitbulls and no pitbull mixes and that's all they had but they brought me out and showed me the dogs. They may be very nice people and they care about their animals, but they need to be a little bit more informative, and upfront when people make requests. And they need to open when they're supposed to be open. I ended up getting two miniature dachshunds from a breeder friend and I am very happy with them. One is a dapple and the other is red so I'm extremely happy. But as far as the Humane Society on Harmon, I don't recommend them. Sorry, but that's how I feel.

Her adult dogs and two 9 wk old puppies, were all well groomed and appeared healthy and extremely well socialized. She introduced us to both minis and medium Australian labradoodles. All had beautiful fleece coats of different colors and lengths. All were very friendly and playful. Polly shared 8 weeks of emails (she sends to all prospective parents) filled with everything one needs to know about their pup. As Polly said- she will provide us with a great puppy, it's up to us to make him a great dog. For the next 2 months, we searched in Fl and Ga and didn't find anything that came close to our experience at Polly's. I am excited to say- after the behavioral assessments are done in a few weeks we will pick our very own 'Polly pup'.
