They did not play with the Kitty Kurlz at all as it was designed to. They had it for only a few days and just started to bite it. And in a matter of those few days, it was useless. I wrote Marlene's and I got a most ridiculous response that the guarantee is on toys in good condition and not on wear and tear for "extended use." I explained they only had it a few days and that shouldn't be considered extended use. It was well within the 30 days. They refused to give me my money back or even a credit toward a different toy. This toy is not "designed to last" as they advertise and is no better than a plastic one where the ball goes round and round. My cats have as much fun with a free cardboard boxes. I gave Marlene's Pet Shop a chance to rectify their response before I gave them a negative review on their customer service. Some companies just don't believe the customer is always right. In this case, I wasn't even a little right. I didn't even get the decency of a reply to my email in response to their initial email of denial. I gave them the opposite to reconsider their initial response to me. Terrible. Get your cat toys somewhere else.

No, I wasn't treated to a bag of hay or a chew toy, my present was the furry kind, a hamster to be precise. I was really nervous (the last hamster incident I was involved in ended in blood and being mentally scarred for life) but the owner was absolutely lovely. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, giving us a full history of his current stock of hamsters and stressing that he only uses particular breeders. As this goes for all the small animals he sells, this means that customers can rely on healthy, happy and docile animals. As well as the hamster in question, we also bought all the necessary paraphernalia that one needs to take care of it. Once again the owner gave us expert knowledge on what kind of cage we needed and once we got the hamster home I rang this shop up practically every other day for advice and he was nothing but patient. Definitely recommend this place for all your pet needs, particularly if you are looking to buy a healthy, friendly pet.

I went here to buy fish yesterday, staff are very friendly, welcoming and kind. Prices are great…read moreand amazing deals on all the fish. I didn't get the man's name but he answered any questions I had, and even taught me more about other fish. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here, the man got his Star Wars books out to show my boyfriend and we all had a chat about tv shows. We will definitely be back to get more fish soon.

The knowledgeable gentleman at Aquatic House kindly explained to me that it would cost around £160 to get my new pet all kitted out, which has sort of put me off, but I admit this seems like a reasonable rate (however, it makes me yearn for an outdoor pond that my £15 terrapin could call home) If you're not a reptile enthusiast, Aquatic House has every marine and tropical fish you can imagine, even those cute little ones that look like Nemo (clown fish, I think?). Aside from potential pets, this shop carries a wide variety of Juwel aquariums and pond supplies, as well.
