Old fashioned pet store…read more It's old fashioned in as much as its laid out in a fashion more akin to a store in an Istanbul souk rather than the modern minimalist clean cut ways of the west. Stacked to the rafters with pet parafenalia it's the place to get all your pet needs met. For fellow cat owners they sell catnip mice that cause our cat to go a little mental and within a couple of days disembowel the cheap little toy. She loves 'em and it's a pleasure to watch her go mental.

The staff were very knowledgable and attentative with helping customers. They had a vast selection of pets and supplies to suit anything you would need. The layout of the store was fantastic, everything was clearly displayed so you wouldn't be walking around aimlessly for what you are shopping for. As for prices, I was pleased that everything was at a descent price compared to some other places I visited. The only bad point I have is that they were out of rats at that time, but with it being close to christmas It was understandable so I wasn't upset. If you're thinking about buying one of the small animals, they discuss your choice through and can give you the main differences between the options to make sure you understand what you are taking on. Easy to find but in busy times not always easy to park…read more Frosbury's has a very nice tack shop which stocks equestrian items and stuff for dogs and cats and I believe some items for small pets too. The shop is well laid out and always tidy. The equestrian range is very good they stock bridles and other items of tack though no saddles that I have seen, feed buckets, stable forks, farriery equipment, feed supplements, clothing, rugs and more. The staff are friendly and helpful. The feed store is not quite so much to my taste as I like to wander around and read the feed bags and make decisions about what I am buying in a relaxed and free way, picking my own bags of feed and pushing them to the till myself, which is not what you do at Frosbury's. Here you order your feed from inside the Tack Shop so you generally need to know what you want before you go in; I am not saying that the staff would not help you choose and offer information and advice as I know they would but this is just not how I like to do it and for this reason I go to Rokers Feed Store which is 2 minutes away from Frosbury's. For someone that likes this way of buying feed it is ideal as they will bring the feed out to you and put in your car so there no wory about picking up heavy bags or carrying them.
