Just before the session we discovered we were having a baby and decided we wanted to save the package for our first family photos. William is an awesome photographer! I don't know how else to describe him. He's unpretentious, extremely funny and understanding, and just fun to work with. The photos are gorgeous and also unpretentious. You just have to see them to believe it. We've had two portrait sessions with William in the past year. We've never been unsatisfied with his work, but William seems like the type who won't quit until it's right (or until you're satisfied). You get all the touched up high-res digital proofs with his sessions. Sure, his prints are on the expensive side, but what photographer's prints aren't?? The quality of the print is great though. If you can afford them, I would recommend getting them through him. We gave the pics of our new baby to family (the old school ones who don't live and die by an ipad) for Christmas and they were a hit! Thanks William! I was incredibly impressed by the service my boyfriend and I recieved from Petruzzo photography. My boyfriend purchased the session for my birthday and we ended up contacting William for our appointment. We weren't sure what to expect, but William was extremly accommodating and had great suggestions for our photos. We selected the National Arboretum to take the photos and were very happy with how William used our hour together. He showed up early to look around the Arboretum to select some of the spots that he thought would be nice for us but was very open to our suggestions as well. As it turns out, the spots he suggested made the most amazing photos of the bunch. Overall, William was careful to balance his experitse as a photogrpaher with our thoughts and expectations. He gave just enough guidance to ensure we had a variety of different shots and was nevery pushy or authoratative. This helped my boyfriend and I relax and take more naturual photos. The rapport William was quickly able to build with us also went a long way in terms of our ability to trust his suggestions and truly have FUN. William is clearly passionate about photography and was a pleasure to work with. While he promised our photos within 10 days, he ended up sending over in just a few days time. The photos were great quality, particularly those that were taken in some of the unqiue spots William had found.
