The parking area is pretty big so there is plenty of parking. I paid for reserved parking to get the easy access parking close to the building. The price was only $22 so I thought it was pretty reasonable. The store was being cleaned and cashier checked me out quickly. read more

The home owners that live on the downhill side of this property should have their ground checked for contamination! I'm not a trucker, so I can't comment on those types of concerns or facilities. But, my car suffered a screw through the tire tread at 10PM on a Saturday. This Petro was close to my hotel, so I took the wheel off my car and brought it to their tire shop. They plugged the hole quickly and did it for no charge. Obviously, I tipped the mechanic. They saved me a lot of hassle. read more

As far as truckstops go, Petro usually takes the cake as far as amenities, customer service and food are considered. This one has a humongous parking lot, but we have actually had trouble finding a spot after midnight, so keep other options in mind. For example, the Loves right next door. Or the Flying J down the street. This one kinda rocked because it had a chrome shop, CB shop with some really sweet radios on display (A Galaxy, peaked and tuned for 245$, not bad!), a barbershop, game room, big laundry facilities, and clean showers with AMAZING water pressure! I'm talking like "pins and needles" good. I was also mighty impressed by the service here as the guy cleaning the showers was friendly and didn't hesitate to give us another towel. Props to you for kindness, my man! The Iron Skillet was just like the rest. If you're a trucker, you've pretty much memorized the menu and know what to expect. I did like that they offered homemade baked goods and fudge at the checkout counter. Those brownies and sugar cookies made for an exceedingly unhealthy snack later on. Try the massage chairs on your way out. 5$ for 15 minutes and they've set up a flat screen for your viewing entertainment. It'll almost feel like home! read more

I'm not a trucker, but I have been helping a friend out with custody exchanges here. We meet her ex and either take or drop off her daughter. We shop at the gift shop, eat lunch and go. Restaurant staff is always friendly and accommodating with the mess a toddler makes naturally. Food is standard ok fare. Nothing great-- but nothing terrible either. Salad in the salad bar is often sad and turning red, but I am probably pickier than most coming from California where things like that are always fresh. read more

If your looking for a truckstop don't come here! The customer service is very poor and customers are treated as annoyances. All the products a drastically overpriced and if your in a semi truck they will charge you just to park on the property. Parking for cars is "free" but don't park for very long if you don't want towed. There are two other truckstops within 1/2 mile from here. Worst Petro stop i've visited. Bathrooms smelled of mildew (male and female), store manager ignored us, donut stocker wiped down paper tray liners with a sponge and then put them back in. That said, a call to corporate HQ yielded an apology and a call from the Carlisle manager who said the issues would be fixed pronto. Extra points on that side. read more

We stopped here yesterday to meet family members passing through the area. It was just about lunch time so we decided to grab a bite to eat. After we checked out the "breakfast buffet" we should have just ran for the door to find another restaurant! Everyone in the group was tired and hungry so we sat in the dinner room and got menus. The rest of the meal was a total disaster!! Waitress was horrible, food was horrible, cold and tasteless!!! I would recommend something prepackaged from the little store beside the restaurant over anything on the menu! read more

This is a great big truck stop. But get here early as it fills up quickly. They have paid and unpaid spots. There is a mcdonalds right across the street.
