I took Dundas Street East eastbound and turned left to travel eastbound along Kingston Road. I was topped at the lights at Woodbine Avenue. Ahead and on the left what this Petro-Canada gas station. Gas was at 115.8 cents a litre. It was such a great price, considering that it was at 120.9 cents a litre heading to the concert. My car needed gas. It was perfect to get fuel here. I grew up knowing this gas station as Sunoco. When Petro-Canada bought out Sunoco years ago, the brand conversion took place. This gas station is across from St. John's Norway Cemetery. The Beaches used to have a lot more gas stations when I grew up in the neighbourhood, including a Texaco (there's a blast from the past!) on the same block where I lived. These days, the total number of gas stations in the Beaches is two: - This gas station - The Petro-Canada at Kingston Road and Blantyre Avenue I safely made a left turn, followed by a right turn into the gas station. I had to circle around to get to a gas pump that worked with my car's gas cap on the driver's side. One of the two gas pumps in this row was out of service. The one that I used worked like a charm. I inserted my Petro-Points card, followed by my fuel-savings card. I then tapped my credit card to pay at the pump. I then fuelled handsfree. I threw out an empty drink bottle. The pump area was clean. This gas station has a convenience store. An RBC ATM was inside. It was doing a good deal of business at roughly 10:30 pm. I had a decent experience fuelling here. I don't know why I had never stopped by. I will when my car needs gas again and I'm in my old neighbourhood. (19)

The location is great and also your worst nightmare during rush hour…read more.. the entrances are either onto westbound Kingston Rd or northbound Woodbine. Both a nightmare to merge into with traffic. The station itself is a-ok and very competitive pricing on gas so keep your eyes open when driving by. A few years ago, I would often visit my friend for dinner at some mutually agreed upon eatery along the Danforth. She lived at Danforth and Broadview, and worked above where she lived. I didn't mind driving over here after we were both done work. She has since moved away. I have recently been doing curbside pickup at af few businesses along this stretch. After we had meet for dinner and called it a night, I would drive along Danforth and would often fill my car's gas tank at this station. The price tends to be a bit cheaper than the GTA on the whole. I like how how bright this station is as night. You can't miss it unless you're extremely tired. I never had a problem paying for gas at the pump and filling up my car's gas tank. I don't think that I have ever been inside the convenience store. I normally had nothing to buy and wasn't in a snacky mood after seeing my friend. This afternoon, I was waiting for the light to change. I turned my head and noticed the graffiti on the side of this Petro-Canada honouring frontline workers during this pandemic. It was touching and sweet. I quickly snapped a photo before I had to move. This station is across from the Honda dealership. The entrances and exits are wide and easy to access. (66)

My car's gas light went on. I had 22 km left of driving fun before my car's gas tank was completely empty. I had a coupon for $2 off a minimum 30 L fill-up. I definitely wasn't worried about hitting this minimum. The challenge is finding an Esso gas station that allows filling up without prepaying. Most pumps force you to pay at the pump or you have to walk into the Circle K to pay in advance. I have been to the Circle K on the southeast corner for Victoria Park and Danforth. It was my first time visiting the Esso that complements this convenience store. It was pretty busy at 7:30 pm. I had no problem finding an available gas pump. I was ecstatic that I could pump gas without prepaying. I'd then go into the store to redeem my coupon and pay for my gas purchase. I had just finished a drink. I threw it into the trash receptacle before filling my car up with gas. The area around this gas pump was nicely lit and clean. I headed into the Circle K to pay for my gas purchase. Staff here are always nice. It was the case during this visit. I redeemed my coupon. I then had my PC Optimum barcode scanned, followed by tapping my credit card to pay. It was a smooth transaction. I thanked the man, grabbed my receipt, and headed back to my car to head home. This gas station has a car wash. It had quite a steady following when I was here. It's a decent Esso station. I'm glad that I dropped by to fill my car up when it needed gas. (375)

There are a lot of gas stations in the city that have cheap gas but this place in particular ALWAYS has cheap gas... and some of the biggest deals I have ever seen. Full service with suprsingly minimal lineups, I really have no idea how this has happened and although i literally thought to myself at one point... "Do I really want to share this reliable little gem of mine with all you yelpers and end up waiting 20min in line?" Well my patriotism towards my fellow yelpers won that argument in the long run. Instead of miserable people pumping your gas there are usually the same few guys that do the job quick, are pleasant and are more then willing to offer services like oil changes etc.. I know people who wait 20+ min in line just down the street at Loblaws or even longer lines at Costco's but these guys always beat them out and get you in and out as quickly as possible. Given this is really only a helpful review if you are in the neighbourhood .... but if you are I highly recommend grabbing some gas here and I will have no prob giving a nod to my fellow yelper in line ;)

In the store, the focus is on cold drinks, auto accessories and thing like hats & gloves - not much snacks or grocery items compared to bigger Shell or Esso. However they do always have Sesame Snaps in stock - sometimes this is the only place within 5 km of my building where I can find Sesame Snaps at night! They also carry cheap, effective old school auto glass products Rain Vision & NeverFog which a lot of big gas stations don't sell anymore. Washroom is very basic but never nasty and it's always open. Note that at last check, Ultramar is not listed as a Top Tier gas seller. I'm not sure if this is due to not meeting the voluntary Top Tier standard for purity & detergency - though more likely not wanting to pay the costs of participating. Either way, just to be on the safe side I wouldn't suggest using Ultramar on a frequent basis if you have BMW, Audi or VW or any recent car with Direct Inection and/or Turbo technology (( though ironically you WOULD come here to get top-off oil for those cars because they sell synthetic Total in a wide range of grades you wouldn't find at most gas stations...)) Also note this station is built on somewhat of a raised mound, the driveways have a steep angle which can make for rough entry/exit for cars with regular or lower round clearance. If you're not driving a SUV or truck, you should take the entrances slowly & diagonally.
