It's on the northwest corner of Leslie Street and Wellington Street East. I pulled into the gas station. There are roughly seven parking spots in front of the store. All were taken, except for the one that requires an accessible parking permit. Instead, I parked next to the car wash. I started a brief trend, as another driver did the same thing. This convenience store is the largest Circle K that I have ever visited. On my left was a fairly large Tim Hortons. The Froster and Polar Pop machines were next to it. I needed to get a couple of Frosters. The flavour selection was decent. I did two medium Frosters. One had Mountain Dew major melon as the base and Sour Patch Kids sour cherry blasters on top. My other drink was all Barq's cream soda. The right side of the store had everything else. It looked vast. The cold beverages took up an entire wall that felt endless as I was standing in line to pay for my drinks. I got to the counter and said hi to the man. I scanned my coupon first. I had my PC Optimum barcode scanned first, and then paid with a credit card. Done! I find that some Circle K stores have straws available to the public and others don't. I asked this man whether there were straws. He let me know that they were to the right of the Polar Pop machine. I thanked him and wished him a happy new year. I headed over to get a couple of straws. They are paper ones, but they tend to be better than most that disintegrate after a couple of hours. I enjoyed both Frosters. The one with melon and sour cherry worked nicely. I liked getting watermelon first, with hints of sour cherry that strengthened in flavour as I continued to indulge. My favourite is anything that is cream soda. I love Barq's. The Froster version is yummy. I had a decent experience here. I hope to get a real parking spot the next time I'm here. (2)

When I'm in this part of Vaughan, I typically fuel at the Pioneer gas station diagonally across from this Petro-Canada gas station. Yesterday, I was travelling eastbound along Highway 7. It made sense to make a right turn into this gas station to fuel my car. It seemed popular that all cars with fuel caps on the left side of their vehicles were all facing the convenience store. I followed suit by pulling next to a gas pump that also had diesel fuel. During these times where gas prices are high, I am fortunate that I have accumulated enough Petro-Points to redeem them towards fuel savings cards. I inserted my Petro-Points card, followed by my five-cents-off-each-litre fuel savings card, and then paid with my credit card. The gas pump that I used was exceptionally slow fuelling my vehicle. It took a while to kick-start it, and then it was slow starting up. I spent longer than expected fuelling, to the point where the guy behind me waiting for diesel (I'm guessing) became impatient and left. At least I could fuel hands-free, so it wasn't as painful as it could have been. The garbage bin behind this gas pump was full. I luckily had to throw out a paper wrapper that I took off a paper straw, so that fit! I got my receipt after my car was done fuelling. I then headed into the convenience store to check it out. There was a guy restocking drinks in the fridge. There were boxes everywhere. I actually had to move a cardboard box to get to the Canada Dry zero-sugar strawberry lemonade drinks. Two of them were going for $5. I got a nice woman at the counter. It took a couple of tries to get my Petro-Points card to scan. I then tapped my credit card to pay for my drinks. Done! I thanked the woman and left with my drinks. I had one when I got home. I put them in an insulated bag and the drink that I consumed was still cold. I had a good experience. I may need to try a different gas pump to determine if the fuel flows faster or if slow is the norm here. (230)

On Saturday night, I was out to redeem a couple of Circle K coupons. I like the Circle K attached to this Esso station, because it has Frosters and Polar Pops, along with some hard-to-find items at the time, such as Fuze and Pepsi Zero. My car needed gas. It occurred to me that I had never visited the Esso station. Circle K and Tim Hortons? Yes. There were a few gas pumps that were available when I got here on a Saturday evening at around 7:30 pm. Gas was at 115.2 when I got here. Yay! I had just driven by the Shell station that had gas at 116.1. I was happy. I had a empty Starbucks cup that I needed to throw out. There was a garbage receptacle next to the gas pump, which was handy. At the gas pump's screen, I entered my phone number that was associated with my PC Optimum card. I tapped my credit card. I then selected the type of fuel and I started the handsfree fuelling process. Fuelling handsfree is awesome, especially when it's cold outside. I love it. When my car's gas tank was full, I put everything away and got my receipt. Done! I locked my car and headed inside Circle K to redeem my coupons. This gas station does have a car wash. One car was using it when I left to head home. It was a perfect evening to grab drinks and fuel my car. I'd fuel here again. (499)

I was driving along Burnhamthorpe Road, heading eastbound to get to highway 427 and ultimately home. I saw that this Petro-Canada gas station had a gas price of 169.9 cents a litre. This price was six cents cheaper than all gas station prices that I had seen in this area. I decided to pull into this gas station to fuel my car. This gas station has a Neighbours convenient store. What was new to me was seeing that KFC was also here. One of these days, I'll need to check it out. I was one of perhaps three customers at this gas station. It was clean. I ended up disposing my empty Starbucks cup here before fuelling my car. I inserted my Petro-points card, followed by my fuel-savings card. I then tapped my credit card. I was ready to pump gas into my car. I like the hands-free fuelling feature. It's nice. Once my car had a full tank of gas, I got a printed receipt. Done! I was thinking to fuel my car in Markham. It was great that I fuelled here before hitting two hightways to get home. (307)

I did a search and found a bubble tea place at Westwood Square (formerly Westwood Mall), so I drove over. I parked near one of the mall entrances and walked in. I walked by Westwood Convenience. It caught my attention. It stuck out because many businesses were selling electronics and cell phone cases. It was the only business selling food and drinks on the first floor. There were three men talking rather loudly in front of the entrance. I decided to circle back while I continued reacquainting myself with this mall that I hadn't visited in well over a decade. I came back and the men has kind of dispersed. One sat in the corner. The other two were at the counter. The store is fairly small. It is a convenience store with some flair. I found the drinks section. I spotted new flavours of Crush. Getting bubble tea was now an afterthought. The strawberry one sparked interest. I grabbed a can. To make me feel less guilty about how much sugar I was about to consume, I also got a bottle of Diet Coke. This store has clothing that you can purchase, with most items being sports-themed. The woman in front of me seemed out of it. I couldn't tell if she was in line or not. She waited for the man behind the plexiglass to politely tell her to step up. She needed rolling wrappers for her smokes. Okay, maybe she was so stoned that she didn't know where to line up. It makes sense now! When it was my turn, I slid my drinks through the plexiglass opening. The man at the counter was nice. He let me know how much it was. I needed to pay for my items using a debit card. I don't carry cash often. Because my transaction was under $10 and I was about to use a debit card, he added an additional $0.25 transaction fee. It was negligible. If you use a credit card for any purchase, it's an additional $0.75 fee. The transaction was seamless. He asked me whether I needed a bag. I said yes. He was great putting my drinks in it and sliding it through the window with the handles facing my way. I thanked him and left. I cracked open the Diet Coke and drank some while driving back to the hotel. It was cold and much needed to quench my thirst. When I got back to my hotel room, I had my lunch while consuming the strawberry Crush. It was delicious. I was happy, likely because I was on a sugary strawberry high. It has been a while since I've had Crush. It was yummy. I finished the Diet Coke, too. I'm so glad that I bought more than one beverage! This convenience store is eccentric. You can get incense and review the varieties as you are standing in line to pay. When I left, I noticed a number of bongs in glass cases. They were fancy and obviously treated as precious commodities, as they were locked up. It's not your typical convenience store, but it's great for cold drinks! (241)
