this location was really a good place to get gas recently…read more the staff are friendly, the location is clean, and the gas prices are really good at this location. really accessible from the highway so far as on and off, with lots of pumps to chose from. i took a star off because when i went to this location the debit machines were down at the terminal and at the pumps, and i was witness to a person chewing out the CSR over having to use the ATM to get cash out to pay for the bill. the customer actually demanded a free car wash to cover the service fee for using the atm and the person behind the counter actually gave in to the customers request.

In general Pioneer will be 30 cents cheaper but I…read morefind the loyalty program not as good as you have to get up to 200L become you get 7cents off per liter in one fill (most cars carry 40L, unless you drive a pick up truck). Eason instead allows customers to get the 2.5 cents per L with the extra privilege plus use any discount level that you may have. In my case I have the $0.25 per liter. So I gassed up roughly 49L coming up to 60L saved $12.50 and doubled dipped on the 2.5 cents per liter (40 when I fill 80L). Right now is a rock paper scissor games that yields you daily chances to win goodies inside the store. The biggest struggle is that not all stores carry the items in stock. For example on Jamieson, they do not stock the circle k nuts, chips and oh Henry. The Hespeler gas station stocks the chips, water but are out of the oh henry. There were other prizes like coffee -but again not all location stock it I think they are are northern Ontario locations. I guess one csnt complain, this scavenger hunt makes it fun and it's free and I was going to go and fill up anyway.

PRO: This has station is nearly always a few cents cheaper than any of the surrounding stations…read more CON: Unfortunately it's awkward to get in and out because there are three entrance/exits -- two off Woodward Avenue and one off Renee Street. This means that there are vehicles entering the station from three directions, resulting in vehicles parked nose-to-nose at the pumps, vehicles backing up inches away from those line up to get at an open pump, and lots of angry drivers honking horns during busy periods. If management would simply mark a specific one entrance/exit as an "exit" it would be so much easier for customers to gas up. A bit of paint on the pavement would transform the chaos into an efficient "line management" system. Alas, I suspect that business is good enough that this will probably not happen.

Since it is a Shell gas station you can collect the Air Miles reward miles here. Service here can also be a bit slow at times if there is a lineup, but the folks are friendly and always helpful!

Not only is Pioneer cheaper, but it's slightly easier to exit, going North than the Esso. (Esso's intersection is waaay busier, so there's less of a chance that someone will let you in! People can be real assholes.) Downfalls: - 3 pumps in each row, so you can be blocked in/it can be difficult to access a pump - Pioneer shares the same parking lot as Tim Horton's/Wendy's, that has a drive-thru, so it can be busy at times - lotsa Jersey Shore-types also seem to hang here as soon as the weather warms up to show off their cars, complete with their music cranked, so it's funny/makes it also busy However, if you're lucky enough to come during an off-time, you can get in, gas up, and get out!
