We have been using Petopia for the last few years. This weekend, we boarded on of our dogs, and she came home with a limp and a wound/swelling on one of her back legs. My wife and I contacted them about this, and Heather answered the phone. She was extremely disrespectful and sarcastic throughout the call, and claimed the wound must be old. We know our dogs very well, and know the condition in which she went into boarding. It was not how she came out. We had such a good relationship with Katie, and are so sad to see what this business has become with new management. If you want to keep your pets safe, I would find somewhere else to bring them. read more

This is the first time I have ever used them. I just picked up my dog after being there for a week and he reeked of urine. Also, he has something seeping out of his eyes. I called earlier in the week to ask a question and they call was never returned. They never called me back. I asked them about this and they said yes they did receive the call but they were understaffed so they just never could call me back. I have used many different boarding places across the country over the years and I have never ever picked up one of my dogs smelling and looking the way that my dog just did. The only redeeming quality at this place was that the lady was so so nice to me. I did feel a little bit bad that she didn't have some more help. Best doggie daycare in Grand Forks! The employees exceeded all of my expectations since day 1 and have always treated me and my pup like family. The best part was that my dog would get so excited every time we pulled up for daycare. The snapchat is a plus too! We have brought our dog in for boarding and a few daycare days. They are easy to work with and genuinely care about the dogs there. I like that we can usually get our dog in for boarding. They have expanded the outside area which is nice! I don't have any concerns with the hygiene of the facility and they are diligent about warnings/posting when kennel cough is getting spread in the community. I wish they had more space for large kennels but I know they're doing their best with the space they have. read more

Best Doggy Daycare ever! Our pup gets super excited to get there and I'm pretty sure they're the reason he loves car rides bc he knows it's time to go there. The staff is absolutely amazing and they literally recognized my pup and called him by name after the first day of Day Care. Their boarding is also amazing and comes with extra treats that you can add to make your puppy stayed so much nicer. Love that is a Walk-In Day Care for the majority of the days too and the fact that they have a Snapchat to keep up with how all the pups/kitties are doing. read more

We bring our dogs for daycare, boarding and grooming. It's hard to find a good groomer for a Newfoundland, and they always do such an amazing job. I love that they post pictures and videos on Snapchat of what the pups are up too. All of the staff members are so friendly! Really make us feel like family. read more

We left our dog at Petopia Grand Forks for a week when we went on vacation. It was really hard because we usually take him everywhere with us. We had heard great things about this place, and we liked that we could look on snapchat for him. During the vacation, we heard nothing from them. When we picked him up, we knew something wasn't right. His bed had vomit all over it, he was lethargic, and looked very ill. We had separated his food by day, and it looked like he had not ate in 4 days!!!! We took him to the vet, and our poor baby now has kennel cough, an upper respiratory infection, an eye infection, and an ear yeast infection. He was healthy and happy when we dropped him off!!!! I cannot believe that they did nothing for him when he stopped eating and was vomiting in his bed. They should have told us. I do not recommend that you leave your dog here! read more
