I used to board my dog here quite frequently however a series of events have turned me off to their buisness. 1) I walked in and was treated quite poorly. The woman was extremely rude, and if you are like me, leaving your beloved pet with someone you are PAYING should not cause more stress than you are already going through. 2) My dog came home from daycare with gashes on his face. Not just little scratches, but bleeding wounds that needed veterinary treatment to the tune of $200 after his head was shaved, cleaned, and sent home with antibiotics. 3) There is not as much supervision as you may think. I showed up with my dog about 30 minutes before they opened hoping they could take him early so I could catch an earlier flight. Since the door was locked, I walked over to the fenced in yard full of dogs. There was not a staffmember outside monitoring them at all, which is a little concerning considering even the nicest dogs can get into nasty spats. 4) My dog, who was vaccinated for kennel cough, came down with kennel cough. This was a frustrating experience considering I exposed him to other family member's dogs afterward. After another $200 at the vet, I called Wag'N'Train to let them know out of curtesy that he had come down with the highly contagious illness. What was their response? "Oh, yeah. We knew about it. Lots of dogs ended up getting it." I am very upset and disappointed in their lack of service and respect. I will never trust them with an animal of mine ever again. read more

Great place. I cannot believe I'm the first person reviewing them! My dog Jackson has been going there since he was little. The new owner of the last couple of years is just as fantastic as the previous and the staff is thoughtful and attentive. They know my dog by name and recognize him even when someone else drops him off. As soon as we enter the gravel road he goes nuts - because he knows a lot of fun is ahead of him. Also, I think they're building a doggie pool... How fun is that! read more

Brought my dog here for boarding while I was on vacation. When I got back she had an upper respiratory infection and a bladder infection. I knew something was wrong as soon as we got home. She was coughing constantly and kept having little accidents in the house (not like her at all). So either they didn't notice, in which case they weren't really paying attention to her at all (this was some loud hacking type coughing people), or they DID notice and didn't want to tell me. She was on antibiotics and steroids for the rest of the summer. A month later I adopted another dog, who used to be a stray. His fur was very dirty and had a skunk smell on it. Although I didn't want to bring him there, they were the only place who could groom him with a "de-skunking" treatment on such short notice. I paid extra for the de-skunking, a nail trim, and also a deshedding treatment, on top of the regular shampoo and blow dry price. When I went to pick him up, he came out, shook off, and the fur went flying everywhere. Obviously made no attempt at all with the deshedding, he still smelled like skunk for two weeks, and they didn't trim all of his nails. I had to have the vet do it when we took him to get microchipped. Paid $68 for him to get a rinse I guess. I will never bring either of my dogs back there. It's unfortunate since they are a smaller facility, (compared to stay n play who usually has around 60 dogs in their care on any given day) I was hoping to bring them to daycare here, where you would think they'd have a closer eye on things since there's less dogs.
