They actually laid on the floor, next to him, and paw by paw clipped his nails. He no longer needs anesthesia. Total time "10 minutes". Thank you for your compassion

They truly care for the animals well being. They are a fully equipped veterinarian service for almost all animals. It seems everyone in our town thinks the world of them. They will not let your animals suffer. You can't find better than that.

Disappointed by the Lack of Compassion, Communication and Care…read more After losing our beloved Bailey, who was part of our family for 16 years, I am extremely disappointed in how this practice handled both his final days and our subsequent concerns. Just two days before Bailey passed away, he was diagnosed with kennel cough, and we purchased medications for that diagnosis that we were never even able to use. Bailey passed away just 48 hours later, and we subsequently learned there were much more significant underlying medical concerns. Given the circumstances, I submitted a letter requesting a partial adjustment to his final veterinary expenses, including consideration for the unused medications. I was not asking for the entire bill to be forgiven, but rather hoping the practice would acknowledge the situation and offer some gesture of goodwill. What I found particularly disappointing was that my letter went completely unacknowledged and unanswered for two months. It wasn't until I personally reached out again that I finally received a brief text stating they were unable to forgive any fees. I fully understand that veterinary medicine is a business and that services and medications have associated costs. However, I also believe accountability, compassion, communication and empathy should be fundamental to caring for animals and the families who love them. No amount of money will bring Bailey back, and this was never solely about the financial adjustment. It was about hoping a veterinary practice would demonstrate some understanding, acknowledge our concerns and treat a grieving family with basic courtesy. Having to chase down a response two months after losing our dog, only to receive a brief denial, added unnecessary disappointment to an already heartbreaking experience. Bailey deserved better in his final days, and our family deserved better communication afterward. Unfortunately, this experience has left a lasting impression, and I would have a difficult time recommending this practice to others.

I went there stressed he had a UTI then you leave him covered in urine and also some STOOL, My poor baby looked terrible and they left him covered in his pee all scared and didn't even attempt to clean him other than putting a pee pad in his crate which did nothing to clean him otherr then soaking up the pee left in his crate. they also had to take his collar off and i wasn't going to put it on him until the next day to then realize they broke his collar taking it off him and didn't even tell me that...I love dr Kinney, she is the only good provider there but whoever treated my Milo that day did not care for him like you would your own pet, I'm extremely dissapointed with how he was cared for, i do not recommend any other vet then dr Kinney if you need to see someone there.

We have taken a particular shine to Dr. Lucas DeFiores who is high energy, very personable, and has excellent rapport with our dog. Two years ago our dog needed surgery and as I waited for her to come of anesthesia Dr. Flores came outside to chat with me and to reassure me how things had gone. I found that kind and reassuring. (This was when they were under construction and everyone had to wait outside and the pet had to be met and brought inside by a tech. It was a frustrating flashback to when they did the same thing during the COVID pandemic -- I am not sure whether that was before the DeFlores or afterwards, though a number of other pet owners sitting in the parking lot share their ire over that situation with me -- this overlapped with the owners being put on hold for when they called to get status updates) The staff as a whole are warm, friendly, and quick to remember your pet (I've got to admit my dog has an amazing personality) Scheduling appointments is easy, getting medication refills is pretty seamless. They do have some protocols that will drive you nuts, like accepting your call and leaving you on hold for a seeming eternity. We've been to vets in the Northwest, California, and now back in New York State -- and the two Drs DeFlores have simply been the best vets we've experienced. I have complete confidence in them and they do everything possible to support the pet owners.

When it came time for me to have the next round administered, I had been told that doing so at one of the clinic's would be far less expansive. I went to the scheduled clinic at the Tractor Supply store in our town only to be told that the Pet Vet team "did not show up" and they hadn't been there in months. I returned home. I phoned another nearby store a few towns away and was told the same. Please note this has nothing to do with Tractor Supply as they only provide space for the VIP Pet Care teams. I phoned VIP Pet Care, and their customer service rep. advised me to go to another location about 35 minutes' drive, where a clinic would be taking place that day. When I arrived, I waited 30-45 minutes to "check-in", only to be told that the annual service plan I wanted to purchase was only available in two locations in the region. One week later I drove over an hour to one of the clinics and finally was able to purchase the plan. The local staff was great and I was satisfied. I contacted customer service about how hard I had to work and the inconvenience they did essentially nothing, saying that there was no possible way they could reduce the cost or provide any sort of compensation. I was now locked into an annual service plan with a contract and would have to travel one hour each way for service. On multiple occasions I dd travel to the "Wellness Center" for Service, found a number of people with pets waiting in line and was REFUSED SERVICE. They operate on a first come - first served basis without the possibility of making appointments. Again, nothing they could or would do for the inconvenience and I had to leave - S. O. L. The local staff are terrific, caring people but the corporate level operation is all smoke and mirrors. They produce a decent looking website with well written copy that completely MISLEADS potential customers. They DUPE you into signing a contract. They do NOT give a damn about customers. When my bank card had been replaced due to potential fraud and the automated monthly payment failed, they immediately turned the account over to a third-party and harassing phone calls ensued. I resolved the matter and continued meeting the financial obligation. I recently called them to make sure they did not auto renew my service plan past the original one-year term. I was told that I could use the clinic and services through the end of this month. When I called the local center to discuss coming in to receive service before the end of the month, they advised they would be closed the day I planned to visit. Good thing I called first. This morning I arrived slightly after 10am. There were about 5-6 in line which I joined. After standing in line for more than half an hour, a pet vet representative came to the end of the line and told myself and three others that they "had reached capacity for the day". They were not going to be able to see us and treat our pets by the time of their scheduled closing at three pm. Despite explaining the situation and the HORRIBLE experience over the past year with their service plan, I was told by both the local staff who called their so-called customer service dept that I was to be REFUSED SERVICE yet again. The Tractor Supply staff was sympathetic and shared with me that the same thing happens ALL THE TIME. They suggested going to the Wellness Center in the area (another hours drive) and called them for me, only to be advised that the Vet had not shown up. All of the above is factual. ABSURD, UNACCEPTABLE, but 100% true. No amount of savings is worth the DEPLORABLE TREATMENT and COMPLETE AND TOTAL DISREGARD shown to me over the past year. I will most certainly NOT patronize PET IQ, VIP-PETCARE, VET IQ ever again and urge anyone considering doing so to think long and hard before doing so!

Vetrinary clinic would not quote spay or neuter pricing without a 1st visit appointment. The only good thing I can report is that they do allow early/spay neuter for kittens. It is difficult to find a vet clinic that will do that so if the office visit pricing wasn't so ridiculous, I would definitely go here.
