A Pomsky (Pomeranian & Husky). My Son loved this dog, but not for $2,899.00

I've been here probably 5 times in the past few months. For a pet store in the mall I must say I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the store and the wide variety and selection of dogs. It honestly didn't smell like one would think. They have hand sanitizers stationed all over the store, which I love and think all stores should do. There's two walls that are glass that allow you to see all of the puppies and somewhat interact with them. The employees are never pushy and just kind of step back until you motion for one of them. After you choose the dog you'd like to hold, they place you in an open cubicle-like space that has a door on it and have you wait while they go get your puppy. There is no time limit, so you can play as long as you like. Should you decide you want a puppy, I can tell you everyone is very knowledgable and seem honest about what to expect. So by now you might be wondering why I only gave it 3 stars? .... The price! Wow is it so outrageous. They like to start out being chatty and telling you the price includes immunizations, a microchip, vitamins and food to go home and certification ... Then they tell you the cost.... Nearly $3,000.00. Yep. Three Thousand Dollars! We quickly said bye to the puppy lol

Someone needs to tell your employees when you insult someones dog you insult its owner as well. We are sick of the pot shots and always looking for ad ons or a way to upscharge! If youre employees are not happy with your rates thats between you and them we already agreed to a price at the time we booked the appointment! If you cant groom and bathe a 45 pound dog without complaining or claiming you need more help then maybe you need a career change! We have had our dog to the vet several times and she is not overweight she is a cockapoo and a great animal. I dont walk in your store and tell your people they are FAT or OVERWEIGHT and I dont appreciate it when at 7:30 in the morning 1st thing out of your peoples mouth should have been GOOD MORNING not hey your dog is FAT and insinuating they may need a upcharge! One of our past experiences they upcharged us $10 for lifting the dog on the table (45 lbs) . We are VERY dissatisfied and wont be back! Teach your people some cooth and customer service! I could go off on there appearance which was VERY unprofessional but will save that for another day! We hate to write bad reviews and let it slide last time this time you get it! We debated on coming here again and now really wish we hadn't!

Picked her up and she looked better but when I got her in the truck I noticed a little odor. Was not sure if it was her until I got home. She was not as strong but I could still smell her. When I petted her my hands stunk, too. Her hair looked like it had been brushed a bit but back on her hind-quarters she had had a lot of under fur bunching up. As I petted her and ran my hand across her flank, tufts of hair were flying out. She obviously had been brushed to some extent but not adequately as there was still fur flying. $64 for the whole thing and I think they brushed her a bit, maybe put something on her fur a little to help with some odor but not sure. If they bathed her it was a lousy job as she still stinks. I can smell her when she walks up behind me in my office. It does appear they did her claws. Very disappointed. We have had fairly good results in the past but will probably find somewhere else to go now.

I was looking at the bags to see if there was fresh cat food. My friend and I had been talking looking at the bags and hadn't heard the lady running the store. All of a sudden out of nowhere I hear a very hateful raised voice say "I've asked you 5 times if you're looking for price" I looked at her and told her 1) we never heard her the first time 2) to never speak to her customers in that hateful tone again. I was about to buy treats and fresh cat food. Because of her hatefulness I set everything down and walked my happy butt out. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO BUY FROM KIND LOCAL OWNERS. THIS LADY WAS GOD AWFUL TO BE AROUND AND I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK. I WILL ALSO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW HOW TERRIBLE THAT LADY WAS. Other reviews mention unwelcoming and rude behavior. This lady is obviously a huge problem! I have since read other reviews and believe that we did experience passive aggressive behavior and feel like we were being judged for what we look like. We are two Hispanic women. Do with that information what you will. I will make it my mission to tell everyone to spread the word about how inappropriate this lady was.

I can't feel bumps in her abdomen nor is she acting sluggish. Her gums looks great and she seems happy and vibrant. We have another vet visit in 2 days. The owners of Country Pets and Ponds defended their feeding rituals by saying "that's why we feed them green leaf lettuce, that healthier." No. Use Google. That is not nourishing them - that's cheap. They defended putting their beardies on sand because "we only do that for the adults, not babies." Doesn't matter. They also accused my vet of "thinking she's an expert," even after praising that vet clinic moments before. Dr. Bradley has a PhD, she is an expert. The adolescent beardie in their care had very little water, even with 3 people working, and her/his water bowl was coated with sand on the bottom. So regardless if s/he is breathing it in or not, she's drinking it. Their animals look damaged and uncomfortabl. Go see for yourself. The male owner boasted about his colony of Dubai roaches he raised himself and told me how hard it was to raise them, all the people I know who raise dubias to save money says he's full of it. He just wants my money. ($7 for 24 medium dubias by the way - I can't afford that.) Please don't give them your money. They don't have a clue of what they're doing.
