I had been getting shooting pain through my back as my pregnancy had progressed and was looking for somewhere to get a massage. The room was cozy with relaxing essential oils diffusing. There was a comfortable pregnancy pillow set up for me to be very comfortable and on my side since laying on my belly isn't really an option at 6 months pregnant. I got a 90 minute massage and was so relaxed I fell asleep towards the end. The massage was just what I needed and I felt a major difference the next through my back. I would highly recommend Jamie and Elevated Wellness for a wonderful massage experience.

My mother spoke so glowingly about how great she felt after her session that I was inspired to try it myself. Serena is very kind, and most importantly, incredibly skilled. If you want a turn-me-into-a-puddle type of massage, she'll do it, and do an amazing job. But her real skill is structural integration, where she actually gets in between the fibers of your muscles and attachment points (as in, all 4 heads of your quadriceps muscle) and creates separation so that you feel looser over all, for longer than you would after just a traditional massage. She really wants to help address the root cause of the discomfort, not just trying to get to the discomfort itself. It sounds weird, but she gets into where it hurts, pulls on it, and then it feels better. She's all around an amazing practitioner. I love going because I always feel so much better when I'm finished. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I'd drive 2 hours to see her, but thankfully, she's very conveniently located close to my house.

I wanted to focus on something that was practical and would have longstanding benefits besides my usual turn up! After I attended a recent yelp workshop about reiki healing, It inspired me to search for a place that focused on natural and holistic living and that's when I discovered Ms. Linda and the lovely wellness in harmony center. Being a busy social worker, auntie, daughter and all my other earthly titles, can get overwhelming, not to mention, I'm considered an "empath" so I'm sensitive to people's energies- yupp I'm weird lol. With all that going on, it can create an inbalance within and take me away from my authentic loving self. Ms. Linda worked with me to balance my energies through meditation, reiki and chakra healing. We discussed the importance of nature, plants, essential oils, bath salts and himalayan salt lamps. Overall I left feeling mentally refreshed with mindfulness and the readiness for a new start. I learned that sometimes it's okay to unplug self! Thank you, Ms Linda and Wellness and Harmony for the wonderful birthday gift!

I struggle with ADD and tend to have a very 'noisy' brain even in normal circumstances. As Lance led our group through some basics of meditation (being still, at ease and aware), I absolutely felt my mind and body calm down, which was awesome! His way of leading and encouraging us through the process was easy to understand, even to a first-timer like myself. I absolutely plan to incorporate this technique into my daily routine, and hope that my company might provide additional sessions to us in the future so I can learn more. Thank you, Lance!
