I do not even know where to begin with Petit Fleur Events! Corrina and her husband were SO welcoming to me from the moment that I stepped foot in their shop! They greeted me with wine and were just so welcoming! I felt like I was visiting old friends! Being that I am so excited about my wedding, I visited Petit Fleur before officially placing a deposit on my venue. Word to the wise, do not make floral appointments, ANY APPOINTMENTS for that matter, until you have secured your wedding venue! During my first appointment Corrina literally took out 15 table cloths, chargers, topiaries, forks, knives, goblets, YOU NAME IT and set it on a table in the showroom just so I could get a vision of what my table could look like at my reception! No other florist or event planner has gone to those lengths on the first appointment to give me a real vision of what I could be potentially expecting. I was literally blown away! Now that I have FINALLY secured my venue and have my wedding date set in stone, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will be using Petit Fleur to decorate my ceremony/reception venue! P.S I was very shocked to read some of the negative reviews about the owner! She is a gem! I probably have an email thread of 17 messages going back and forth with her (and I have only been planning for 2 months)! I wanted to change my tablecloth- not a problem, I wanted to change the chargers- not a problem, I wanted to subtract the gold silverware that I was so adamant on including in the quote, lol,- not a problem! A preface: of all the vendors from our wedding, this is our only negative review -- every other vendor was wonderful. We hired Petit Fleur Events for our July 4, 2026 wedding. We're posting this so other couples know exactly what our experience was. Every statement below is documented in our signed contract, the vendor's own emails, or witnessed by our wedding party. Start with the contract itself. We paid a non-refundable $2,500 retainer based on an itinerary of services; when my now-wife asked -- twice, in writing -- what the actual contract was, the full terms were not provided until June 3, with the remaining balance demanded "by tomorrow," one month before our wedding. By then, realistically, there was no changing vendors. Those terms included a non-disparagement clause purporting to restrict clients from posting negative reviews. Had we seen that clause before money changed hands, it alone would have turned us away. (We're aware of the clause; everything here is factual, and we raised every concern directly and professionally with the vendor in writing first -- as it requires.) We signed a $5,332 agreement and paid $5,276 of it by June 5 -- in full under her payment schedule. At the design mockup -- held 18 days before the wedding, outside the 60-to-30-day window in her own contract, after she rescheduled it from the earlier date we requested -- my wife declined every single offered upgrade that came with a price. When dahlias were quoted at a $500 increase: no. Each time a cost was named: no. The pattern could not have been clearer -- we were staying inside our contracted budget. Then on July 1, three days before the wedding, we received a rewritten "itinerary of services" raising the subtotal from $5,276 to $6,733 -- roughly 26% -- built almost entirely from changes that had never been disclosed as carrying any price. There was no change order and no markup against the signed version: the contract's $1,051 courtesy discount was removed while other fees were waived in roughly offsetting amounts, and line items were silently added, deleted, and repriced throughout -- a wholesale rewrite in which nothing could be tracked against what we had signed. We had to reconstruct it line-by-line ourselves to find out what had changed. When we pushed back with the signed documents, the vendor claimed in writing that a line item "was added" in later revisions and that those arrangements "simply do not exist." That line appears verbatim in the itinerary she signed. After we quoted it back, she confirmed the arrangements would be provided after all. She also refused to provide the cake florals -- despite the signed itinerary containing a "Cake Floral + Table Décor" section she herself had priced at $50 -- and declined our written offers, made three separate times, to pay for requested additions through a standard change order. We were informed she would be on vacation from before our wedding through July 8. On the day itself, the boutonnieres fell apart during the event -- multiple members of our wedding party witnessed and can attest to this -- and in our opinion the arrangements delivered fell well short of the mockup we approved. Since our final email, we have received no further responses. Our advice to any couple considering this vendor: demand the full contract before paying anything, get every change in a signed written change order, keep every email, and compare every revised document line-by-line against what you signed. Corrina at Petit Fleur Events provided fabulous flowers and wedding decor for our wedding ceremony and reception at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit. Several guests commented everything was stunning, gorgeous, beautiful, and flawless. I really appreciated Corrina's attention to detail and ability to listen to what we wanted and bring our vision to life. As the bride, I was not overly interested in looking up a million flowers and arrangements on Pinterest or making a detailed Pinterest board (that's just not my jam and I didn't have time to do all of that). Instead, I just described what I wanted: simple, elegant, and classic floral arrangements -- and sent a few examples of what I liked in general. Corrina exceeded my expectations on all fronts. She is skilled at making things beautiful. My bridesmaids loved their bouquets. Notably, I LOVED my bouquet and the half moon arch she created for our wedding ceremony, which was a semi-last minute addition. If you want amazing flowers and decor at a reasonable price, GO with Petit Fleur Events. You will not regret it. UPDATE: Corrina has sent me multiple lengthy and aggressive emails accusing me of trying to maliciously destroy her reputation. That is not true. She begged me to remove my review. She offered me a $500 incentive. When I did not, she emailed me a cease and desist letter. She is now threatening me with legal action. I sent the contract, letter, emails straight to an attorney to review who informed me the letter has no legal effect and suggested I simply re word a couple things but absolutely do not have to remove my review. I will not be intimidated, harassed, or paid to delete my honest review. We had an Indian fusion wedding, and of the 20+ vendors we hired all except 2 were amazing. Corrina at Petit Fleur was one we had CONSTANT issues with (the 2nd- a vendor that Corrina works with and recommended, Utsav Planners, so that says a lot.) We spent $17,000 with Petit Fleur, a big investment for our wedding. Ultimately, the decor did look nice but it was nothing we couldn't have received from another florist and definitely not worth the hassle and stress I had to deal with literally DAYS before the wedding. I stressed that I did NOT want ANY colored flowers, only shades of whites/greenery. 1st quote there were PINK flowers in everything. We talked, fixed it, she acted as if it was the 1st time I was telling her. I thought "no big deal, simple mistake" and moved on..but this behavior continued. We'd go over something then later it was as if we never talked about it. I felt like she was constantly talking over me and not listening. She had an attitude when changing things as if I was being difficult, but had she just listened the first time we wouldn't have to keep correcting! There were more misunderstandings with the mock up meeting, budget, chairs, room flip set up/breakdown, just one thing after another. Mostly a lot of small annoying issues but it begins to add up- especially when the planning process is so seamless and easy with every other vendor you quickly realize this isn't how it should be! I received the quote after the mock up meeting. Luckily, I noticed a few things we changed werent reflected, days before wedding. I sent her pics of the correct design, it was fixed. As always, attitude like it was MY fault that her/employee must not have documented the adjustments (the entire purpose of the meeting). A couple weeks before the wedding we started having issues with the vendor for the Indian decor (Utsav Planners). Apparently they weren't returning calls/responding to emails. In the beginning of the planning process, Corrina recommended this vendor, handled all communication with this vendor, and scheduled my appointment to pick out decor with them. Corrina's words to me in regards with using Utsav were: "you pay us, one company, in one contract, with one point of contact, and one deposit. It's simple" 10 DAYS BEFORE WEDDING DAY Corrina emailed my planner and I saying "Everything fine. There is no need for a new vendor. That was never a question." 8 DAYS BEFORE WEDDING DAY Corrina emailed my planner and I saying she's removing herself from the transaction, sent us their info etc. My planner and I were able to get in touch with Utsav after multiple attempts and paid them directly. They did show up on wedding day but our Mandap chairs from Utsav did not and we were not refunded. I believe as soon as things went south with this vendor she "works directly with"(her words), she bailed out as to not have to claim any responsibility if the vendor did not show up. I have no idea what went on between them or who started the issue, but they blamed each other to me. Corrina would not take responsibility for anything, threw the blame and turned it around on me, my planner, and other vendors every chance she got. Another vendor apologized to me and told me how bad they felt for me because they witnessed Corrinas behavior along the way and how difficult it was working with her. I submitted an inquiry through theKnot.com because I'm looking for florals for my wedding. My budget is a generous $800 for a bridal bouquet, one bridesmaid bouquet, and 6 boutonnières (and possibly an altarpiece if price allowed). That $800 budget did not include any centerpieces. They responded to my initial inquiry with a form for me to fill out. I spent 10 minutes completing the form and uploading pictures. After I returned the form, I received an email stating they don't take events on with a budget of less than $3,000! I'm upset that they didn't state the budget requirement upfront before I wasted my time completing a lengthy and comprehensive form. I also think it is bad form to refuse business. I was prepared to spend upwards of $300 for my bridal bouquet alone, which I expected to be a fair budget for high quality flowers. Apparently I was wrong. read more

Our backdrop was simply beautiful, more beautiful than any examples I had shown or seen on the internet/pinterest. She was accommodating, and responsive and I could not have chosen a better vendor. I recently got married and had Petit Fleur as my wedding florist. I had a wonderful experience! My sister used Petit Fleur for her wedding a couple of years ago and had a good experience, so when it was my turn, I knew I wanted to check out Petit Fleur. My fiancee and I had a very small wedding budget and Corrina was able to work with us to create beautiful arrangements that wouldn't bankrupt us. I'm not really a girly girl so I really had no idea what kinds of flowers I wanted for our wedding. I thought of using gerbera daisies because they are my favorite flower. When I went in to meet with PF, Corrina told me that she would advise against using all gerbera daisies since they wouldn't hold up well in the August heat. She continued giving me advice to ensure my arrangements would last throughout the entire day. She had lots of pictures for us (my mom came with me to my appointment) to browse through and was able to suggest many flowers I had never even heard of. I ended up having cymbidium orchids, mini calla lilies, roses, white hypericum, blue delphinium, billy balls, alstromeria, some white filler, and a lemon leaf collar for my bouquet and it looked STUNNING! The bridesmaids' bouquets had some of the same flowers and also had the gerbera daisies that I wanted. Corrina also makes adorable flower wands for the flowergirls. Both of my flowergirls loved them! They had ribbons hanging down and a flower ball at the end. The girls felt like princesses with little scepters as they walked down the aisle. We did not use Petit Fleur for any hall decor because our site took care of all the interior decorations as part of our deal, but I can say from my sister's wedding that Corrina does an excellent job with those as well. At the time my sister got married, Corrina was planning her own wedding, and she rented out some of the items that she had bought for her own wedding for use at my sister's. I believe my sister rented a birdcage (to use as a card box) and some white metal trees for the table centerpieces. The trees had candles hanging from the branches. Everything looked very nice. I would highly recommend Petit Fleur for your next event! They do a wonderful job, are knowledgeable, and can work (to some extent) with a budget. read more

While the wedding flowers turned out lovely, I would not recommend Petit Fleur due to the attitude and disrespectful behavior of the owner, Corrina. We had a few bumps along the way, but everything seemed OK until the big day. The day before the wedding I found out that Corinna had to change some things because some of the decorations for our wedding were stolen by another client. On the wedding day, I was on the phone with Corrina when she began yelling at me and hung up on me hours before the wedding! I would not recommend Petit Fleur and I hope Corrina never makes another bride cry on her wedding day. Did I ever get an apology for her reprehensible behavior? Nope. If you read her responses on the wedding websites to poor reviews, you can get a sense of her attitude. It's not worth the drama. read more
