The location is in an ultra-quiet neighborhood 2 blocks from downtown Palmer. Suite 12 had an excellent view of a snowy field, mountains and even the decorated Palmer water tower. There is very little traffic on the roads around the units. Palmer is a easy 50 minute drive from downtown Anchorage. Great central location for seeing the sights that is away from the big city. Suite 12 had everything we needed and was clean. No need to post shots since their website had mondo-pictures that were exactly as we received. There was enough kitchen utensils and pans to get us by, including the required pod coffee maker. The unit was clean with newer appliances. The living room couch is a sleeper, so a family with kids would fit just fine. For the two of us it was excellent and the master bed was comfy. Both rooms had TV's with a plethora of viewing apps. We appreciated the apt size washer dryer compete with soap since sloshing thru the snow gets you wet. Since there is no maid service it is nice to freshen up the towels or sheets. The only negative is the washer is very noisy and the neighbors woke us up when we were trying to sleep in, one morning. It snowed several times during our stay, and the management kept the walk ways swept, which was appreciated. The units are 'motel style' with a roof covering most walkways. The path to our cars and trash was even cleared, which was no easy feat considering the snowfall received. They kept the brooms and shovels out so we could brush off our car easily.

I found hairs in the bed and in the bathroom. -they only service your room about once a week -you have to go to the lobby to get new bedding and fresh towels -you have to buy soap to wash the dishes -no wifi in rooms (and lobby wifi is broken) -sheets, floor, couch, and bar stools on my room had stains after being serviced (food, bodily fluids) -no clothes hangars -some highway and neighboring veterinarian noise -no laundry bags Tip to manager- get wifi! It's not that expensive to get a powerful router and it will increase the guest experience ten-fold! Especially for those traveling for work. Internet is a must have these days.

We were worried about the flat-screen television precariously leaning at an angle over the armoire throughout our stay. We were booked for six days, but on the third night, our stay was cut short, on account of two bed bugs crawling across the mattress. Therefore, we checked out and stayed with my parents for the rest of the trip. The gentleman at the front desk who brought us the play pen was decent and sympathetic; he directed us to work with Expedia to get our refund. Though we didn't get reimbursed for the first three nights, we did get $201 back.

I proceeded to ask about the heat and she looked at me strangely and said "Oh yeah...we don't put the heat on yet, it's not cold enough to" mind you we had mid 40's for daytime highs and mid 30's for night time lows. But she gave me....blankets! The fun didn't end there. Upon coming back from a hike I went to our bathroom and noticed the floor was all wet. I then looked up and saw water pouring out of the fan vent. I called downstairs and told her. She was surprised and said she would send someone to look at it. They came and turns out the guy on the 3rd floor overflowed his toilet. They cleaned it up with towels and when I asked if they would disinfect our bathroom as well the manager said it was unnecessary because it was "clean toilet water from the tank" Nightmare fuel Not to mention the animal piss stained carpet and black mold in the bathroom. So basically- spend the extra money and stay somewhere nice.

Rooms and guest areas area all beautifully decorated, and there's a game room with a pool table and Foosball table :) Upon our arrival, we were told that our room was upgraded to one with a private bath :) Shannon was really nice and accommodating! Good breakfast too, the blueberry pancakes are absolutely de~licious! :)
