The sales team is great. My experience with the service department, however, not so great. Do not expect a call back. Lower your expectations. You will have to call them over and over again. And then prepare to call again. Commitments are not followed through. They have had to replace the windshield 3 times. This last time, I am COMPLETELY getting the run around. Now the interior lights are on and, as usual, I was promised a call back. As usual, no call back. I understand being busy, but don't tell your customers one thing then do another please. You could use a Daily Activity Planner or a simple calendar to write down a reminder to call your customers back and update them. This time taking it up there. They did not run a diagnostic, just said the lights aren't on now.. Well, I told them it was when I am driving long distances. Notes were not taken to check the rear tire as I requested when I dropped it off. We will see what happens. The bar is low. I simply want communication and them to honor the warranty and the commitments made at the time of purchase for excellent customer service. read more

My honest rating is a 3.5 stars. I had to go back and personally adjust my reviews on all platforms. The salesperson plugged in his own 5 star reviews from my phone. I didn't want to say anything because it was awkward that he asked me to do it. Tony was our assigned dealer however Jared (the manager) was who we connected with and moved forward on the deal with. We appreciate Tony's availability and willingness. Now, I know this may be small to many but mens bathroom did not have a baby changing station so I had to use the sink area which was covered with coffee. Lastly, Tony used some passive aggression in our conversation after the sale was final. I would suggest remaining profession throughout all interactions. The only thing that could improve with this business is that it would be totally shut down. It needs to be investigated by the SBI, FBI and the IRS. There is definitely something so not right with this company, and I am sure that there are many others that feel this same way. This statement is verified by the yelp reviews, with most of the rating being a one. This should tell you something! Everyone is not going to lie. Now believe me, I am not going waste time writing this review if what I am about to tell you is not truth. If I were in court they would make me put my right hand on the Bible and say, " do you swear or affirm to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help you God." I would respond with I affirm, because anyone who reads the Bible and knows the Bible, knows that you are not suppose to swear on the Bible. It states that in the Bible. Now that I've gotten that out let me tell you my experience. When I took my daughter to that car lot, as we pulled up you see so many shiny, upscale cars and very few low end cars that are not so shiny or in good condition. We were immediately approached by a salesman with his pants sagging, shoes run down, shirt not so clean and to top that all off he was talking to us like we were his hood friends. I quote," what's up, what y'all looking for." I said, "excuse me" He said, I'm sorry, how can I help you guys today? I told him that my daughter had children, her SUV had just broken down and she need another SUV so she could take her children to school and get to work. I told him what her price range needed to be no more. He began to walk us around the lot and he showed us a beautiful SUV. It was really clean on the inside and out and shined like a diamond. My daughter really liked it, but we thought for the price it was too good to be true because of the model of the SUV. Fast forward because this story is literally chapters in a whole book. The sales associate took all of my daughters information and when he ran the credit, he told her she would need a co-signer. Her dad at the time agreed to sign with her because he was told she would be totally responsible and if she missed payments her dad would be responsible. Fast forward, my daughter was approved for the SUV, the sales associate even convinced us to get the GAP insurance so that if something happened to the car and bank would not pay it all, GAP would. Well unfortunately my daughter only got to drive that vehicle 3 months. There were underlined issues with that SUV that could not be seen with the naked eye, and according to the Kelly Blue Book value, the car was marked up nine thousand more dollars above the value and to put the icing on the cake. We found all this out after the SUV was in a wreck and the GAP had to get involved and they ended up not paying for the difference because the company lied and put her dad as the buyer on the paperwork. They used his social security number beside her name. When we went back to Peters Auto Mall to confront them about the situation, they swore out they didn't do it, but the bank said different. After the bank showed proof, Peters Auto Mall ended up buying the whole financial institution. So to me it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. Now, everything is done in house and there are no outside entities involved. To this day, they didn't offer my daughter any help, another vehicle or anything, knowing she had 5 children plus it gave my daughter bad credit and her dad because they were not going to pay for something they didn't have and altered paperwork on the company's behalf. It is very sad that the man that owns this car lot allows this type of action to go on. I say he knows because we asked to talk with him and he declined, letting his finance manager to cover for him. As far as I am concerned, this company is full of lying, cheating and decepted people. Now I fully understand why old people have this saying, " Everything that glitters is not gold." I would like to say, "Every car that shines, may not be worth the dimes you paid for them with. Do yourself a favor, do your homework, read ALL of the reviews, especially the ones that are rated with a one because everyone is telling you THE TRUTH the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help them God. We will all be held for our actions, including Peters Auto Mall. Don't let the good looks fool you! I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy! read more

They are rude to customers and the vehicles that are sold here are lemons. Run as far away from here and for a better experience, go to Impex Auto Sales in Greensboro, NC instead to spend your hard earned money. Peters Auto Mall rip people off and then instead of doing what's right, they point fingers at each other for the sales person, service manager and service tech. One of their workers told me to report my car stolen and then file an insurance claim because they knew the vehicle I purchased had issues and that it could not be fixed properly at their location because they did not have the equipment to fix it. The service department smells like everyone was hitting a bong before we got there. My son bought a car that had front axel issues. Then my child was told the repairs would cost $1200, but when I went to get the car, the service manager informed me "they couldn't figure out what was wrong" after having the car for TWO MONTHS. I have never gone through a greater headache when buying a car. I bought the car less than a month ago, the check engine light has come on twice. They apparently didn't fix it the first time, because the next time it cut off was while I was driving. They got it towed to their center and I called this morning for an update and they said they don't know what's wrong with my car because I didn't have an appointment even though I spoke to someone from the dealership on the phone and they're the ones who sent out the tow truck. I will never do business with them ever again, I was in a very tight situation when purchasing my car, was invovled in a car accident in which my car was a total loss, so peters had a good selection of cars in the price range I was looking for. But after purchasing my car, the problems began. Had my car for all of 24 hours before coolant starting to pouring of the car. That problem did get resolved with them coming to tow the car, and bringing me a loaner, and fixing the problem. Now not even 2 months of being in the car yet another problem with the cooling system, was told there is nothing they can do that i would pay full price for the repair, I wasn't looking for them to fix it for free, but some type of discount for yet another inconvenience with the cooling system. If you want a "lemon" then this is the place to go. I feel they need to improve there inspection process when taking in a car to place on there lot for sale, each car needs a total look over before placing it up for sale. These problems could have been fixed before placing it on there lot to purchase. They seen me as an easy target because of my situation with needing a set of wheels. If you want to be a easy target and spend thousands of dollars with them in a car they needs constant work then this is the place for you. read more

My husband and I recently bought a truck from them. the sales manager told us over and over about how they did a big 180 point inspection on the truck, this is a good sound truck. He kept saying we are different than other places. sorry to say we fell for it. 3 days after we got it home it wouldn't start. Had to be towed, which caused $100, the fuel filter had to be changed $673.00. There was a shop towel in the tank. Evidently whom ever inspected it didn't look at it very good. Also had to get a new battery and the brake lights are out. They will not return my calls. Don't buy from them. they lie and they do not stand behind what they sell. I've only had my 2004 ford excursion for 5 months roughly put about 5000 miles on it and now I'm doing a complete brake job. My brakes Calipers rotors pads caliper slides, Pins...etc etc. Love the car hate that your mechanics aren't paying attention. I been driving my whole family of 6 in this thing and there is not a safe brake part on this truck. The mechanics should do a better vehicle inspection because the inspection process is important for vehicle safety and most importantly my family's safety was on the line!! If you are looking for a group of lying finger pointing, it's not my fault group of salesmen and servicemen then Peters Auto mall is the place for you. I purchased a Mini Cooper from them on a Monday, the racing stripes needed to be replaced and our salesman said it would be no problem and could be done in a day so we bought the car, as soon as I drove it off the lot the check engine light came on so I brought it back. They stated it needed a new thermostat and they would have to order it however I could bring the car back on Friday and they would fix the stripes and the thermostat all the same day and I could pick it up Friday evening. So we dropped the car off and then the trouble began. I won't add all the details but I didn't get my new to me car back for over a week. When I did go to pick it up the stripes were full of air bubbles and looked awful. I had to complain to have them redone. Once again a wasted trip to pick up my new to me car that wasn't ready. Several wasted trips to pick it up I don't even remember how many phone calls to try and find out what was going on with the car and why it was taking so long and every time each person had a different story. Bryan blamed Gus and Gus blamed Bryan. All I know is they were all awful and I wouldn't go back there for anything. My favorite part was when Gus in service was super rude to me and stated "trust me I want this car out of my hair as much as you do". He was by far the worst. I did not receive good service at the Peters Auto on South Main Street might they kept my car for about a whole week and did not complete the service on the car I had to take it to another dealer to fix what they did not when I reported to the service manager Chris he said he will make things right since he could not refund any money with a free oil change when they found out that the oil change was free they said they were booked up and they could not service my car I will never be coming back to this location again to buy another car from them or to get anything serviced because they just told me a bunch of Lies and did not want to refill my money after I pay it at least over $800 for them to service my car and do it right I am done . Called about a 2500 Chevrolet Silverado truck which they show in their inventory. I live in Greensboro so i didn't want to drive to High Point unless it was available. The sales person Emileigh confirmed the truck was at their budget center. I drove to lot and was greeted by a salesman who told me the truck was at their main lot. So i drove there however, I became suspicious when the salesman kept asking me why I was only interested in this particular truck. We arrived at the main lot and the salesman asked for my license and said he was going to get the tag. Eventually he came back and said the truck was not there and they had sent it back for rust!!
