At the top of Peterlee town centre this post office is a bit of a mess since they closed the card shop down that they ran inside.
It is a huge post office with lots of windows but there can be people waiting down the street and they still only open a couple of the windows.
About a year ago this was a nice post office dont know what has happened to it all the staff never wear there uniforms anymore and half of them look like they have just rolled out of bed and gone straight to work.
People have to wait ages because the staff are to busy talking about what they did the night before.
There are many post offices in peterlee which offer and quicker and more friendly service. read more
