He came by once to prime and another time to paint. Showed up right on time, very flexible, and professional. He really took a lot of time to match both the exterior and interior paint colors, and I was very impressed at how perfectly it matched when it dried. He quoted me at less than half what another painter quoted me at, and I don't think the job could have been done better. Highly recommended, we'll use him again next time we need to paint anything!

I've…read morehad other painters do work at my house in the past, but the quality of their work was fair at best. I had resorted to doing my own painting for the past few years, but I've been puting off changing the color in one of our bedrooms and it needed to get done. I called Richard Myles Painting to do the work. Rick showed up on time and did a truely professional job. Rick also repainted a skylight and ceiling in one of our bathrooms, but one of the things that impressed me the most, besides the quality of his work, was his knowledge of the materials he uses. Rick took the time to explain to me which type of paint he needed to use for each job and why. I'm very pleased with everything that was done. He's the only painter I will call for future jobs.

We met with this guy in Feb. 2019. He have us a written quote for $3,600.00 to paint the interior…read moreof our home. My husband gave him a check for $1,200.00 and Mr. Healey agreed to the job. I texted him weekly and his response each week was, "next week, Wednesday at the latest". This occurred every week during March and into the third week of April 2019. The last week of April 2019, my husband called Mr. Healey's phone (a cell phone number), and told him that he had not started the job, nor showed any sign or intention of starting the job, despite having our money for over eight weeks. My husband told Mr. Healey that we were not happy with being delayed week after week for two months and that we wanted our money returned. Mr. Healey said that he understood. However, he has to date (8/4/19), never returned our money and no longer responds to our attempts to communicate with him in order to resolve this situation. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with Maura Healey, the Massachusetts State Attorney General. Consumers, beware! Richard Healey the painting contractor is not a trust-worthy business owner. We suggest that you find another painter and do not give a penny in down payment, as you very well may have the same experience. By giving him our check, we expected that the agreement would be honored. Instead, we are out $1,200.00!! And now moving on to court proceedings.

We discovered someone who not only took pride in his work, he surprisingly exceeded our expectations. If you have ever had (or tried to have) work done around your house, you've no doubt experienced frustration and downright agony. Refreshingly, Charlie demonstrated professionalism during every step. He returned our initial call, showed up to review the work, provided a quote, arrived on the planned date, and completed the job. Throughout the process, Charlie listened to our statements, answered our questions, asked spot on follow up questions, shared information, provided suggestions, and worked efficiently and effectively. Charlie well earned all 5 stars. He was knowledgeable and experienced; brought all the tools and equipment necessary; and cleaned up thoroughly when done. We had a small but complicated job to paint den and bathroom ceilings and the bathroom walls, after electrical work had left a number of holes and needed some ceiling reconstruction. The result was outstanding.  We intend to hire him for future work. He has my highest recommendation.
