I had Dr. Lazar as my obgyn 11 years ago. At the time, she was located inside St. Bernardines…read moreHospital. She made me feel absolutely comfortable and had so much patience. She kindly explained all of the info that I needed to know, took great care of me and my baby, gave me wonderful advice, and finally, performed a perfect c-section to my healthy baby boy that was just too stubborn to come out lol I didn't want a cesarean but we had no choice because my son was blocking the cervix with his arm and being a "money grabber" as they referred to him as. In order to avoid injuring him, we decided a c-section was the best choice. Dr. Lazar knew how nervous I was for the surgery.. I had planned on no meds and now had no choice but to have them. But after all was said and done and my son was delivered, I knew that I would definitely look for Dr. Lazar in the future for any other children I may have someday. Glad to see she's apparently still in the area for when that time comes. She was so amazing that I brought my son to visit a couple of times until she was no longer at the main hospital. Thanks to her help, I have the most handsome and genius 10 year old child one mom could ever ask for. My overachiever, scholar, and athlete. Thanks Dr. Lazar!

I've had pain in uterus for years and every time I went to the hospital they would say I have cysts but nothing to worry about, or that they just couldn't find anything. From the first phone call the office staff was extremely pleasant and squeezed me in the next day. My first visit Dr Lazar knew what was going on with my and scheduled surgery 3 weeks later. I couldn't believe that someone finally believed me. The day of surgery, she could read the anxiety on my face and Dr Lazar held my hand until I fell asleep. She assured me that she was going to make this pain go away. Today pain be gone. Thank you so much for giving me my life back. I went through years of pain and drs telling they can't find anything to Dr Shelley Lazar MD taking one good look at uterus and scheduled surgery. Thank you to you and your staff. I was truly blessed to be referred to your office. Not to sure if the front desk lady who squeezed me in but a special thanks to you specifically you're amazing!

I am a retired medical malpractice attorney and well aware of the "standard of care" for physicians…read morein Dr. Toursarkissian's area of practice. My daughter was cared for by him as a "geriatric mom." His attention to her needs was exemplary. His "bedside manner" was, likewise, the best. In no small part as a result of his care, I am the proud grandfather of a beautiful little girl. I can recommend him without reservation.

This was the worst experience of my life. I have anemia from my bloodthinners and I'm 40. Recently…read moreI started getting the most unbelievable cramps for 7 days straight month that I can't even move or talk cause the pain is that bad. I went to this Dr and he found out my cervix had prolapsed and that was probably why the pain was so bad. My primary Dr and my cardiologist both say I need a hysterectomy. This Dr.T absolutely would not do the hysterectomy because he was afraid of infection & bleeding. Even though I don't bleed bad when get cut or hurt it's just my periods & I would be stopping the bloodthinners way before surgery. Made no sense but ok he is the Dr. So he said he was going to do a ablasion of my uterus which is just pretty much burn the inside of it cause he said that would stop my periods then he would fix the prolapse as well. I asked again are you sure cause cancer runs ramped in my family. My aunt has ovarian cancer right now. My grandma had cervical cancer. Both grandma's had breast cancer. Every family member gets cancer and this Dr.T knew this cause he make you fill out this very long list about family history and cancer. He said that the ablasion and repair was the best idea. So I said ok. He said he would do it within a month so I wouldn't have to go through another period. We'll 2 1/2 months later I finally get an appointment. When I got the paperwork from medi-cal which shows what procedures I am getting the cervix repair didn't seem to be on there. I called his office in San Bernardino 5 times and talked to many of his employees including the manager asking if the cervical repair was going to happen cause I can't keep having surgeries cause I have a pretty serious heart condition. They all said yes the repair was happening and not to worry. So Sept 17th was my pre-op and all they did was take blood and do a ekg which was done wrong and mysteriously got "lost". But no imaging nothing. This was at St Bernadine Hospital in San Bernardino, Ca. So I arrived at 9am for my surgery. It did take a very long time for them to get me in a pre-op room but whatever I just wanted it to be over. The nurse comes in and gives me a IV in my hand. Before she said I was having a DNC which is pretty much an abortion. I said no I'm suppose to be getting a ablasion & a cervix repair. So she said ok don't sign any paperwork yet and I'm going to give you a bigger IV needle cause a cervix repair will make you have a different drug cocktail to keep you under longer. She was a very nice nurse and said she will find my Dr. While she was there the Anesthesiologist walks in. He very quickly says he will knock me out for the DNC, literally. Then the nurse says she should be having a cervical repair and the Anesthesiologist says not to worry ill just paralyze you, says it just like that and then walks away while I was trying to ask a question. It was crazy. The nurse was busy but she did keep looking for Dr.T. So I called his office and talked to one of his employees and asked again if they were repairing my cervix she said yes and read off the procedures and I told her none of those are a cervical repair so why did she say yes they were doing it. The nurse walks in and I told her if they are not fixing my cervix I won't do the surgery cause everything needs to be done all at once cause my heart. Then finally Dr. Toursarkissian walks in. I ask if he is fixing my cervix and he said we can't do a hysterectomy till he knew where the bleeding is. I was taken back. I told him I had no internal bleeding my blood cells go back up after my periods end. And that's is known. And then I said if that was the case why did you do no imaging? Nothing! And I begged you for a hysterectomy and you said you absolutely wouldn't give me one ever! Now your saying I have to have multiple procedures? He just said nothing and stared at me. So I said isn't that irresponsible on your part. He looks at me and says you can leave and walks away. Then I cussed said f*ck yea I'm leaving this is insane and very unethical. I pulled out my IV and got they heck out of there. I immediately went to my primary Dr and he told me that was wrong and to make sure to tell everyone cause this is an assault and a attempted assault. I stopped my life saving bloodthinners for 5 days for this surgery which is dangerous and for nothing. Don't let the nice office Dr.T has in San Bernardino fool you. Your a pay check and wants to do as many procedures to charge your insurance. He is a scam and very unethical Dr. Everyone needs to know Dr. Karim Toursarkissian is a bad Dr and dangerous fir patients like me with other health conditions.

Due to complications -- my baby measuring in the 1st percentile -- I was advised that all imaging and high-risk care would be handled through Dr. Brar's office. From early on, I was repeatedly told they were convinced the issue had to be genetic. We went through more in-depth NIPT testing, and everything came back normal, yet that assumption never seemed to shift or be further investigated. Starting in January 2026, I was seen weekly at Dr. Brar's office. During this time, I rarely saw Dr. Sadjadi and trusted that between both offices, my care was being properly managed. Looking back, that trust feels incredibly misplaced. Despite being seen every single week for a high-risk pregnancy, not once was my blood pressure checked. I was later diagnosed with preeclampsia, with blood pressure reaching 158/102 -- a serious and dangerous condition that should have been caught much earlier with routine monitoring. Instead, it was missed entirely. This ultimately led to an emergency induction and the devastating loss of my baby. There are no words to fully describe the pain of that loss. What makes it even harder is knowing that something as basic and standard as checking blood pressure -- a fundamental part of prenatal care, especially in high-risk cases -- was completely overlooked during consistent, weekly visits. Aside from the lack of care, the office was also consistently behind schedule. I was almost never seen on time, often waiting 30-45 minutes past my scheduled appointment. While delays can happen, this was a recurring issue and only added to the overall frustration and lack of confidence in the care being provided. I feel deeply let down by both Dr. Brar's office and Dr. Sadjadi at Optum. The lack of attention, oversight, and accountability during such a critical time in my life is something I will carry with me forever. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend their care to others.
