I was referred here when my pregnancy got classified as high risk. The clinic itself is nice and clean but it's lacking in actual patient care. Wait times are close to an hour but you're only seen by the tech/provider for less than 5 minutes. They also performed my 20 week anatomy scan here and it took maybe 3-4 minutes? There's no way this was a proper scan. And the 3 pictures they gave me were so low quality and blurry. Before coming to Brar's, I had a scheduled anatomy scan with a radiology clinic and was advised by my obgyn to keep it. At that appt they took a solid 25-30 minutes and gave me sooo many pictures. I was under the care of my OB, Dr. Sadjadi at Optum, starting in September 2025 during my first pregnancy. Due to complications -- my baby measuring in the 1st percentile -- I was advised that all imaging and high-risk care would be handled through Dr. Brar's office. From early on, I was repeatedly told they were convinced the issue had to be genetic. We went through more in-depth NIPT testing, and everything came back normal, yet that assumption never seemed to shift or be further investigated. Starting in January 2026, I was seen weekly at Dr. Brar's office. During this time, I rarely saw Dr. Sadjadi and trusted that between both offices, my care was being properly managed. Looking back, that trust feels incredibly misplaced. Despite being seen every single week for a high-risk pregnancy, not once was my blood pressure checked. I was later diagnosed with preeclampsia, with blood pressure reaching 158/102 -- a serious and dangerous condition that should have been caught much earlier with routine monitoring. Instead, it was missed entirely. This ultimately led to an emergency induction and the devastating loss of my baby. There are no words to fully describe the pain of that loss. What makes it even harder is knowing that something as basic and standard as checking blood pressure -- a fundamental part of prenatal care, especially in high-risk cases -- was completely overlooked during consistent, weekly visits. Aside from the lack of care, the office was also consistently behind schedule. I was almost never seen on time, often waiting 30-45 minutes past my scheduled appointment. While delays can happen, this was a recurring issue and only added to the overall frustration and lack of confidence in the care being provided. I feel deeply let down by both Dr. Brar's office and Dr. Sadjadi at Optum. The lack of attention, oversight, and accountability during such a critical time in my life is something I will carry with me forever. Wait times are horrendous. They put you in a waiting room just to put you in another waiting room you are finally called. They are like a pregnancy mill with pregnant women everywhere waiting. I've never waited less than an hour. Dr B is not very nice and his ultrasound people seem overworked and unfriendly. When he retires I think the women in this county will be better off. read more

Very slow wait. we have been waiting well over an hour past our appointment time. this has happened on both visits. I do not recommend.

I was seen by this practice for my twin pregnancy starting at 11 weeks. Dr Brar was beyond negligent in my care and his negligence led to the death of my infant.. I unfortunately saw his office for a stress test on June 9th after being in considerable pain and at hospital they could not complete stress test despite sending me to ultrasound. I was crying in pain. I explained my concerns over the pain and inability to breathe. They sent me home and said they would see me Friday that the ultrasound was fine. The next day I delivered and lost one of my boys. There was very clear signs of TTS with one being a pound and half larger than the other and an abundance of fluid surrounding one baby which was the cause of my pain. How was this missed on the ultrasound the day prior? How was i sent home after a failed stress test. How did my ultrasound a week prior show no signs of this? He was dismissive the one and only time he met with us. Other than that it was a cattle call despite carrying very high risk twins. We never even heard from the office after losing a child. Never ever trust this man or practice. I will ensure this never happens to anyone else. read more

If I can rate this office 0 stars I would. The patient care is horrible. Majority of the workers view patients as just a number. They have horrible attitudes and have no effort to provide a nice ultrasound picture. When they do ultrasounds they do not talk to you. They only give information to their assistants and completely ignore you. I have never waited less than an hour in this office. They over schedule people. I waited in the first lobby over an hour and then waited in the second lobby for 40 more minutes. I understand to them it's just another patient but to me it's my baby. read more

***UPDATE** Went back for my anatomy scan and yea didn't get better. Got one ultrasound pic that I honestly would have just said save the ink and paper on, I waited over an hour to be seen because apparently 3 of the ultrasound techs were running late. The whole appointment took about 20 minutes, didn't see a DR was told that my measurements would be sent to my obgyn, go out to make another appointment and all the techs are sitting gossiping around about how there was traffic and they were late, okay well then maybe less talking and go see the ppl that are waiting in the lobby. I'm supposed to have an appointment in two days but guess what, they just called me today to cancel, something about my insurance and a referral, I said okay I get things happen, but I have had this appointment for over a month why are you just checking until now??? Girl on the phone said we usually don't work on appointments until a week before, I said OKAY but you are calling me 2 days before the appointment not a week. If you are referred to this place already being high risk and are expecting a warm welcoming environment where you feel like they truly care about their jobs this is not the place, it's just stressful and unorganized save yourself the trouble and ask your insurance to refer you elsewhere. read more

Even with an appointment we waited 1 hour to be seen, only to be taken to another room to wait another 20 minutes with other patients that were also in the first waiting room. Then we get transferred to another room where three girls are waiting for us. Not sure of the names but one of them was rude to my wife because she had to repeat herself after my wife didn't understand what she initially said.( rolled her eyes and turned away) We were shook, my wife and I looked at each other to see if we both just seen that. Everything was rushed, hardly any talking, like they're in such a rush to get you out. And then there a girl just standing in there watching for what? They didn't ask if someone can be in there for training purposes. They were aggressive or not gentle when putting the paper towel on my wife's waist band. This visit is supposed to be special for parents, instead it was a disappointment. We only came here because it was recommended by our birthing center. This office is very slow. Prepare to wait at least an hour after your appointment time. My appointment was at 4:15 and I wasn't seen until 6pm, an hour after they close. If i can rate this office zero stars i would. First of all i was recommended this office since my second pregnancy is considered high risk. This was my second visit at this location for an anatomy scan and overall bad experience i arrived on time and still was not seen until an hour later. Usually anatomy scans are supposed to be a happy and nice visit since your allowed a guest to see baby with you. Their was 3 nurses in the room and kept talking over me and kept commenting about why havent controlled my gestational diabetes and what was going to happen to my baby if i dont control it (mind you that day was the only day my blood sugar was at 120 in the morning compared to other days that is at 95-114 and they only asked for my fasting sugars for that morning) the ultrasound tech also was rushing and she kept putting so much pressure on my stomach and pelvic area i was litterally just taking it cause i know they wouldve told me something else. But my appointment was litterally 20 min and an anatomy scan is usually like 45 min to an hour...Baby pictures came out super blurry and also when i was on my way back home i kept cramping and ended up spotting from the pressure...please dont come here and change your dr. Horrible staff. They don't actually care about their patients and have attitudes. They don't like it when you stand up for yourself. Was referred here by my OB for ultrasounds and was scheduled for a bunch of different followups with no indication why. When I went back to my OB to inquire about the tests my OB was also confused why they were over scheduling me. I called to cancel the appointments and the receptionist pushed back about cancelling appointments that my OB cleared me to cancel. My OB's opinion has more weight than the scheduler sorry. When I asked continued asking questions the receptionist got gluster and passed the call to the manger who was a B***h. Tried to gaslight me and said "I don't know why you're calling, your OB should have spoken to us directly if this was a problem" ",we only schedule what the OBs tell us" girl if that was true then why was my OB concerned about the over scheduling? To top it off they couldn't even give me a single medical reason for any of the excessive tests. Truly just money grabbing fear mongering tactics. Shame on them scaring pregnant women during their most vulnerable time. They tried to give me a BS excuse that was so bad I couldn't help but laugh, if they actually had my chart open they would have realized how long they were. As of now I am completely satisfied! Dr Brar and his staff were very kind and took the time to thoroughly check and explain everything regarding my unborn babies possible arrhythmia. I was told not to intake any caffeine as a preventative measure and to keep coming for routine visits monthly! Granted I did have to wait an hour and a half..... I arrived at 3:10 and wasn't seen till around 4:35ish. The doctors and staff apologized and my ultrasound visit was thorough. I was a little hesitant to go when I read the reviews about the wait times and when I arrived there was at least 10 people there which is a lot for a small office but the time went by quick and my relief will last forever ! My baby is getting quality care so it was ultimately worth the wait!!!!! read more

My husband and I are having our first child and my obi referred me to Dr. Brar for maternal and fetal medicine/ tests. My first appointment was last week and I was SUPER nervous due to the bad reviews. I think they're taking them seriously and made some changes and yes, there is a long wait time but for us it was maybe 30-45 minutes but there were more than one ultrasound tech and more staff from the other office to help out that day. I was filling out paperwork etc so the time seemed to go by fast. They do not allow children and if the room is crowded with pregnant patients, the 2nd person/guest need to wait outside. We were lucky and there were plenty of space for my husband to wait with me. The techs answered all my questions and spent time with us showing us our baby moving, flexing it's arms, etc... very cute! Then after a few minutes Dr. Brar came in and briefed us for a few minutes. We are lucky and I'm on the lower end of geriatric pregnancy with pretty healthy family history so my risk was low but as we get closer to the due date they'll monitor for any changes etc. I have my next appointment at his Redlands location which the tech said that's where they work and came to San Bernardino to help out bc it was busy. I'm confident it'll all be ok at that location too and will keep y'all posted! read more

This is a disgustingly dirty office! The waiting room chairs look like they were acquired from a junk yard. There is yellow something that dripped down the door to the waiting room that was never cleaned (my friend very unfortunately had to come here when pregnant with her daughter three years ago and the door was like that then). During my ultrasound the tech couldn't get a clear measurement of the back of my baby's neck because of his positioning. She even told me he was facing the wrong way. Then after clear frustration because the baby wouldn't rotate she tells the girl recording "well just in case put 1.93mm"....ummmm this is a fetal anomaly screening guesstimating one of the most important measurements that screens for Down's syndrome because your in a hurry isn't really helpful or appropriate! The entire process felt like a rushed assembly line. This is a special time for most women and this office leaves a person feeling like they're an inconvenience. One would think with the get them in get them out puppy mill treatment the volume would be sufficient for the office to at least afford decent chairs and a coat of paint for the waiting room. I mean seriously, how are the chairs at the DMV nicer than the ones in an OB-GYN waiting room? read more

Two - three hour waits every visit, failing to provide results on critical exams, over three weeks for fetal echocardiogram results and they just keep giving me the run around. Mind you they've had the results but they won't give them to me until Dr signs off on them, which he's continued to fail to do. Was asked if I wanted to terminate after my sons diagnosis of dandy walker and tetralogy of fallot even tho prior to seeing the doctor they have you fill out some questionnaire in which one of the questions asks if something were to come up would you consider terminating? I said no I was 31 weeks pregnant at the time with my first. Then Dr. Brar said my son has dandy walker and tetralogy of fallot and every appointment after kept asking if I wanted to terminate... who terminates a pregnancy at 31 weeks!?... every appointment after I was asked to terminate and when I said no Dr. Brar just stared at me like I was being selfish or something. The reviews are true. First time mom here and my wait time was ridiculous. I waited 2 hours for my appointment and had several others with appointments after me called first. The location is definitely dirty and very small. The ultrasound techs were pretty nice and professional but that all was irrelevant once Dr. Brar came in. He was speaking in a rush and was trying to push Amniocentesis on me though the risk of anything wrong with my baby is small. I asked him a question and he replied like I was an annoyance and stupid for not knowing medical terminology. I can see why a lot of people are unhappy with their experience, but I personally had no qualms with my visit. I came anticipating a wait so I wasn't caught off guard by the length of time I spent in the office. The facility isn't in the greatest shape but it isn't as awful as everyone makes it out to be. Overall, it is clean and the staff was friendly. The tech and nurse that cared for me were both very personable and kind. My interaction with Dr. Brar was brief but pleasant. I was referred to Dr. Brar after abnormalities found on my 19 week anatomy scan. Dr. Brar did not find the same abnormalities found on the original scan, but instead gave me a new diagnosis. His bedside manner was extremely lacking. I felt he pressured my husband and I to terminate, despite us noting on our check-in paperwork that termination was not an option for us. I had myself transferred to Loma Linda and though they agreed with Dr. Brar's diagnosis, it's been a different experience. I'm a first time mom so after being outsourced by kaiser to a specialist and seeing all these negative reviews needless to say I was ANXIOUS! I cried when I read the reviews (thank you hormones) and I was so nervous I kept messing up the paperwork! Honestly though...the place was just fine! The girls in the front were very sweet, I waited no more than 10 minutes (maybe even less!) And the actual exam room was clean and the equipment was all high tech. My baby was being super stubborn but thankfully the tech (super professional and sweet!) Was able to find what kaiser couldn't find and Dr. B came in after to double check. I felt very taken care of and honestly have no complaints. Such a sigh of relief! read more

I get there with my TWO year old daughter & check in, the lady said "we don't allow visitors" I said , I don't have a visitor, it's just my 2 year old. (She goes with me to every appointment & every doctor I've seen knows I don't have a baby sitter, that she will be with me every appointment. It's never even been a SLIGHT problem. So for me to be referred here I figured she would be allowed) She then tells me well we don't allow anyone in at all. Only the patient. The doctor is strict, I'll ask him but he says no. I said okay ask. She said "he said no" & I said "okay so then you guys are just not going to let me get my needed appointment done ever because I have a baby with me.. in a baby doctors office.." she said well you can reschedule, I said "you don't understand that she's going to be with me regardless the day" & she just said "Well you can find a new doctor" Lol if your doctor & staff is "SO concerned about COVID" you wouldn't have 10 pregnant women crammed into a small waiting room & down the hallway. thanks for wasting my time & being the rudest doctors office I've ever been too. read more
