I have been seeing this dentist for quite a while now. The office staff is extremely friendly,helpful and kind. They have done a great job with the work they have done in my mouth and Peter Was quick to except an emergency visit where I needed a repair done quite quickly because I had to go out of town. 100% the greatest dentist I've ever been to. Both he and his dental assistants genuinely care about their patients. I originally came to have a temporary fixed as my dentist was closed due to covid-19. I came back after because my dentist had permanently closed. He took full x-rays and discovered that I needed a root canal instead of the crown the old dentist had fitted me for and was going to put on. I would have had an abscess and lost the tooth if it hadn't been for him actually caring. I've gone a few times since I do have dental issues in general and every single time, it's a good experience. Dr. Smilovits and his staff are great! Fast appointments, not much waiting time, if any. They have Saturday hours which is wonderful! Very thorough assessments of your dental health and fast to fix issues you might have. My wife had awful TMJ so much that she was having migraines for weeks. She went in and within 4 days Dr. Smilovits and his team had her fixed up and headaches gone. I was referred to Dr. Smilovits several years ago by a friend. I was very happy with his work and the work of his staff. Last year, I finally signed up for insurance right before a crown came loose. Unfortunately, Dr. Smilovits did not take this insurance and I regrettably went in search of a new dentist. Long story short, the new dentist did a lot of bad (and unnecessary) work and I was in so much pain I couldn't eat or sleep well. I called Dr. Smilovits for a consultation and he made an appointment for me the very next day. He and his staff were very helpful in answering all of my questions on what had gone wrong. In no time at all I was pain-free and my teeth look great. Though I am paying out of pocket, I honestly feel that his work is worth every penny. If you are in need of dental work regardless of how hopeless you may seem your situation is or how impossible it would be for you to regain your smile with teeth that you had as a youth, you need to call Dr. Peter Smilovits. This is how I felt when I started with Dr. Smilovits about eight months ago and he and his staff has done wonders for me. I had gum disease, my face cheeks were sagging, and bad decade and chipped teeth in my mouth, not a pretty sight to say the least. He first cleaned the gums to a healthy state, extracted only the bad teeth while explaining each procedure to me and why it was so important to try and save as many of your original teeth as possible. He and his staff were very professional, courteous, patient, and personable. He was very accommodating to my schedule for completing all procedures. Dr. Peter Smilovits did not as some dentist would do, simply pull all teeth and prescribe plates but rather saved the few teeth that were good, and buildth them up, making them stronger. He explained that full plates eliminate your sense of taste - who would want that if there is an alternative. He is a firm believer of saving teeth not simply taking the easy way out by extracting them all thereby sustaining a healthier life to an individual. I have partials top and bottom and I can still taste my foods and more importantly have my smile back from my youth. I have received nothing but raving comments from family and friends about how natural my teeth are and how well they fit and how good I look again.
