Make sure to grab a newly cooked slice. The ones sitting around become cold and chewy
    Bobbi S.

Okay variety of pizzas and I suggest you wait until each pizza comes out newly cooked because, once it sits for even five minutes or so on the counter, it is no longer hot and becomes chewy and dry. There is not much cheese and/or sauce on the pizza, garlic knots are (k)not garlicky; primarily blobs of bread with maybe a hint of garlic. I emphasize the word "maybe". Salad, on the other hand, is good with multiple add ins but not the healthiest of dressings. Cinnamon & sugar squares for dessert were the best part of the offerings here. Sodas are refillable. Staff is not engaging at all and the floors and tables could use a cleaning. The video games & bumper cars are probably tons of fun, if that's a reason to come here.

    Traditional Wings

Food was great. The bread on the pizza was perfect. Wings were a good flavor but too soft for me- even though I had them run them 3 times. Place is mainly self service once you order. Very kid friendly environment. Perfect place for birthday parties for small kids.

The proof that I was there

I'm here because my nephew wanted to come here. The kids playing with their hair while making the food. Of course I said something bc it's very disgusting. I will not come back for myself to eat. The front counter guy has his hand all in the cups to pick one up. Disgusting and of course between the texting & touching the pizza I'm grossed out.

    The werx pizza

Growing up I used to go to Peter Piper Pizza a lot, mainly for kids birthday parties or during lunch for the pizza buffet when I was in school and I've always loved the pizza from this place. So what a pleasant surprise it was to find a Peter Piper pizza near me in Dallas! I went to the Jefferson location for dinner with my husband, and my experience was great. The staff was friendly; the pizza was amazing; and there were a bunch of families celebrating their kids birthdays. Just like I remembered. Call it nostalgia, but I really do love this place. The pizza is just so delicious, I always get the Werx which basically has veggies and sausage with a lot of tomatoe sauce and great tasting cheese. Every bite is a delight for sure! And the best part is that you can stay after your meal and play games! Just like if you were a kid again! I will for sure be back to Peter Piper Pizza.

I came here because it reminds me of my childhood. It was the go to place in my hometown for kids birthday parties. I stopped in for lunch at 11am today, Wednesday. So they had just opened. I'll give them credit for not being ready at 11 on the dot. The employees were still fiddling with their hats and clocking in when I came in. Monday through Friday from 11am to 2pm offers an all you can eat lunch buffet for $5.99 for adults, $3.39 for kids 10and under. It's ok pizza. I figure people come here because of their kids not because they want top notch pizza. Go to zoli's or cane Russo if your looking to be a foodie or stuck up about pizza. You know somewhere that actually specializes in food and not somewhere that's designed for swarms of children to lose their mind in. It's located in oak cliff down Jefferson blvd so it's not the best area and you get some interesting characters coming through. It's really quiet right now. Just the terrible top 40's playlist and the arcade. I considered pulling a star as I'm typing this to a nickleback song. The place itself is very clean. I'd expect more bodily stains around from the hoards of spawns I assume rip through here on weekends, but they seem to keep it spotless. This hit the spot today. I'm not a usual and my go to for mediocre pizza buffets is cici's, but this was nice today.

(just a fun fact) They seem pretty proud of that fact too, considering there's now a giant cowboy hat sculpture, "The Big Hat," right across the street. It's impossible to miss. Anyway, we weren't there for hats. We were there for pizza. First, a public service announcement. Figure out what you want before you walk in because the menu is only available through a QR code, and it is awful. You scroll. Then you scroll some more. Then somehow you're still scrolling. It feels less like ordering dinner and more like reading the terms and conditions for a mortgage. The two of us ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which turned out to be ambitious. We ate leftovers for days. Next time I'd definitely order the smaller size. My only real complaint about the pizza itself was the pepperoni. There was just TOO MUCH of it. Sure, I could have asked for "light pepperoni", but then I'd be paying full price for less topping, and that just goes against my personal philosophy. I'd love to see a "light pepperoni" option priced accordingly. ALSO not it is the good and greasy cupping pepperoni, kinda spicy. The pizza was also a little unevenly prepared. About half had a thicker crust while the other half was noticeably thinner. I definitely preferred the thinner side. Service was perfectly fine, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and the pizza was good overall. Just be prepared for the QR code marathon before you get to enjoy it.

Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. We called ahead of time as Resy was glitching and were told that we could just walk in and likely wouldn't wait long. Arrived the host was helping someone with a takeout order. We waited. And waited. She never even looked at us or said. "Hi...just give me a minute and I'll be right with you.." 2nd host came to the counter (more than 5 minutes passed as we watched them buzz around and still not say hello). She finally looked up and said, "2"? Then seated us almost silently. We waited another 10 mins for someone to welcome us, say hi, or bring water, then a waiter appeared with a rushed, "Are you ready to order?" Umm....how about drinks? Specials? Anything?? We wanted a beer and were told the taps were empty and the only bottled option was Shiner. Rough start all around. Honestly, we were tempted to leave. It was that uncomfortable. We didn't. For the food: 1. Chopped salad was good, though it's not chopped at all, just a tossed salad. 2. Gnocci was delicious 3. Pizza was very tasty but the crust was strangely soggy/chewy. Maybe that's the style, but I kind of expected a bit of a crunch to it. The flavor all around was great. Our waiter disappeared (I'm assuming his shift ended?) without warning or letting us know someone else would step in. If I had to sum it up, it was almost like we were invisible the whole time we were there. Service can make or break an experience--it broke it for us. I'd consider trying the Richardson location in the future, but I think it'll be a while.

We were lead to a large half moon shaped booth nestled in the corner; which was large and plush. Plenty of room for us four and honestly at least two more people. On our table was a place card that said Happy Birthday to my partner which was a nice touch. Our waitress arrived and very pleasant and helpful.
