The sauce was super runny and while it had flavor, I never think having to put sauce on stuff to give it flavor is the answer. The service I thought was rather hands off and I'm surprised nobody came and checked on us although that may be just how things are. The ambiance was cool with old license plates and pictures along with some cool western themed things up on the walls to make it seem warm and homey. All in all, I was left with the feeling that there should've been more and I was kinda disappointed after all the hype I've seen and all the gravitas that the name Pecan Lodge carries with it. I assume they do that because some people must not be tipping at brunch. I'm just glad I caught it and didn't double up on the tip. I did leave an additional tip because of how well the service went and how great the meal was. Speaking of tipping, I always tip the valet, but I have not encountered where they charge me $13.50 and then want a 20 to 25% tip on top of that to park my car. Yes, I could have pushed the "custom tip" button and not tipped, but that would've been awfully awkward and it wasn't worth it on Mother's Day.
