This was my main draw to selecting this property. The air conditioner is only "allowed to" go down to 68 degrees. Sick of this save the planet aka save their money cooling restrictions. Is it really worth saving 50 cents a night to not allow your guests to sleep cool? The thick bedding / sheets are not breathable and I had a hard time sleeping. Only after I asked to check out early did they miraculously "get approval" to remotely reduce the room temperature by 2 degrees. What a joke. $350/night for a Holiday Inn level staffing and guest experience. The only good thing about this place is the location. Other than that I'll save my money and stay somewhere else where I'm valued.

We arrived shorty before our scheduled time, and the distillery was just opening. Don (co-owner) welcomed me and told us to come on in. The space is very welcoming, and we immediately felt comfortable. We were fortunate enough that Don took care of us. He told us about the beginnings of the distillery, how he and his partner got started, and how they have continued to evolve. Their attention to details are unmatched. Their gin, bourbon, and vodka were all top-notch, and we were very impressed by the personalized tour. Don's passion and knowledge made the experience truly memorable. We learned so much about artisan products, and the efforts that go into making them. I strongly recommend this experience to others. Their spirits taste really good. We could've stayed longer, as comfortable as Don made us feel. We were able to sample most of their products and we had two amazing cocktails each. We purchased the Artisanal Gin, the Barrel Finished Gin, and the Blended Bourbon. My wife surprised me with a bottle of the Blended Bourbon, and Don presented it in a very nice gift bag. He actually dedicated the bottles to us and signed them. We're looking forward to bringing our friends for another visit soon. New Artisan Distillery obviously distills their own liquor - vodka, gin and bourbon - and they have a tasting room/bar where you can test this liquor out. The gin was our favorite because of how smooth it was. What was neat was after we tasted each of the liquors, Ray then made us custom drinks from herbiage in their front gardens. Each drink was handmade and only $12/each. He did a tremendous job explaining how this liquor company came to be, how their logo/bottle was designed and the background of their spot. I reached out to get some information and was contacted shortly after by the owner, Daymond. After a few email exchanges we set up some time for a venue walkthrough and let me just say, the pictures online do it no justice! This perfectly modern, chic space is nestled in the heart of the design district central to many restaurants, bars and hotels. (We rented a room at the Double Tree Hotel - Market Center which was literally 4 mins from the venue). Perimeter Zen can comfortably accommodate 70 people, there's a projector to display images during events, adjustable lights depending on the mood, a sound system for phone connection or DJ set up, a kitchen/ bar area, chairs, tables, and lots of parking! I was initially concerned that with everything it comes with, the cost would be astronomical; however after more than a few changes to the quote and about 50 emails on my end, Daymond got me to the right price and reserved! I rented the space from 10:00pm-1:30AM on a Saturday night and when I arrived Daymond and Sean were already there with the light preference I requested on display and the slideshow rolling, all my friends and I had to do was put up balloons and get the DJ and bartender acclimated before guest arrived. Daymond and Sean were extremely hands on, continuously asking if there was anything they could assist us with! It was very apparent they care about their guest, and I was reminded of that even more as the night went on when there were a few times they had to remind people that they could not leave the building with any open alcohol containers (cups or bottles) for safety and liability purposes and I truly appreciated that. Most places will just allow any and everything to go on, but not with them, their desire is for everyone to have a great time in their space, safely. I could not have asked for a better team to work with, it was a magical night. The owners are true gems and I would recommend this space to ANYONE looking to host an event with a touch of elegance.
