You can have one option, two or all three and the prices are great too!! Costing £15 for a blow dry, £20 for a cut and blow dry and £25 for a colour cut and blow dry, also offering highlights from £20-£40. Its a bargain! Also if you buy a bottle of their tan you get a tan mitt and blow dry for free!! A great way to look fab for less!! They don't take bookings so you may have a wait but it's never long and is always comfortable. The salon itself is really funky as has a really great vibe!

It was a favourite of my…read moresister's back in the day and in town one day I decided to see how 'male friendly' it was and get a straightforward number 2 haircut. The salon offers a simple walk in policy and apparently a 15 minute wait is pretty much the maximum that it ever takes. The selection is simple...there are 3 options competitively priced...cut, cut and blow-dry, cut colour and blow-dry. So no confusion there. After a minute of explaining what I wanted, I was asked to take a seat and then brought over to the main cutting area. It's a long, bright room done out with gilt wallpaper which was a bit disconcerting at first. The hairdresser was attentive and cut the hair as requested, even going a bit shorter at the back when I asked. They didn't have a price for this particular cut as it's a mostly female clientele but as it only took a few minutes they only charged me £6. As reasonable as any barber I've been to. Pros: No booking necessary. Friendly staff. Cons: Mainly for female customers.

They weren't going to ruin your hair, but they weren't going to get it perfect or do something creative with it. Inside, the salon is very modern and very long. I remember being left waiting for about 40 minutes as I was a mere five minutes late. This was a bit of a pain! The sinks are pretty comfortable and the facilitates are great, so no complaints there. My hairdresser was really grumpy though. I didn't want to be her best friend but for Chrissakes a bit of small talk wouldn't go amiss. I also had to explain to her over and over again how to cut my hair as she wasn't getting me at all. Everytime I asked her to redo a bit she looked disgruntled. I wasn't being overly awkward, I just wanted to get what I paid for! Crap service and waaaay to expensive for the medocre service they provide

I was attending a wedding on Friday 1 July 2016 and had left it far too late to book an appointment…read morewith a hairdresser. I hardly ever get my hair done, instead it's always a 'natural' mess. I don't have a regular hairdresser - with hair as bad as mine you just tend to give up. I also didn't really understand that most hairdressers are fully booked up weeks in advance. Hence leaving it until two days before needing an appointment to try booking one is a big no-no. After ringing a couple of salons I was beginning to resign myself to the fact that I would just have to be my usual slovenly mess for the wedding. It was just then I noticed Twisted Scissors & Soul on Yelp and its 5 star review from Jen A. I gave it one last go and contacted them. Unfortunately Twisted Scissors & Soul were fully booked too but they offered me the option of a wash and blow dry with their Trainee Jordan. I was delighted at this and quickly booked an appointment. A modern, stylish salon with skull wallpaper and ornate silver framed mirrors, Twisted Scissors & Soul is super cool. Luckily it's also super relaxing to visit and boasts two Stylists and a Beautician. Plus there's the wonderful Trainee Jordan. Jordan washed my hair with volume enhancing shampoo and conditioner. She give me a fantastic blow dry (referred to in-house as a "Wendy") and left my normally fuzzy, extremely fine hair looking smoother, fuller and much, much better. I was absolutely delighted and have already booked a return appointment to get my hair cut. A superb Salon with a great team of staff who helped me out in my hour of need. It's also great to have a one-stop shop for both hair and beauty appointments. A true hidden gem.

Where else would you be offered a glass of prosecco with your hair cut!!…read more I love this place, a wee hidden gem at Rosetta full of style and class The decor is funky and bold and the stylist are super friendly and really good at what they do. The salon caters for men and woman with short or long styles. I've had my hair cut here a few times and it's always a pleasurable experience, plus there is some free off road parking so it's really convenient The atmosphere is relaxed and salon itself is quite small so you get the right level of attention at all times without the hustle and bustle of larger salon There is also a beauty therapist on site too so if you fancy a facial, massage or nails done say the same time the option is there A great spot for a bit of pampering and now my new go to salon
