I was a patient of Dr Julian for a few years. When I started to experience some issues with a…read moregrowth on my ear, she diagnosed this issue as a Keloid and began giving me steroid injections every 8-10 weeks. When the problem was not solved by these injections more than a year later, she recommended I connect with a Keloid removal doctor at Lexington Plastic Surgery. I spoke to them and they proceeded to pitch me a full-on radiation extraction. Not only was the cost prohibitive for this surgery, it was being sold similar to how a used-car company would operate. Really shady. So I decided to get a second opinion and was told it was NOT A KELOID. It was something called Calcinosis. The doctor removed the growth in less than 10 minutes and the cost of the procedure was less than $200. I was outraged that I had been MIS-DIAGNOSED FOR OVER A YEAR! Called the office last week to speak with Dr Julien. Of course she was unavailable. So I asked for her to call me back. You think I've heard from Dr Julian. NOPE. Beware of this place. I found another dermatologist.

When I arrived, I noticed that there was ample parking spots all around the building. When I entered the suite for the dermatologist office which is 116, I was greeted by the two wonderful ladies at their front desk. Because I was a first time patient there was some quick paperwork, all done on an iPad and then payment of my co-pay. The waiting are, and exam areas were spotless! This place was clean, organized and smelled fresh. I waited no more than five minutes before I was quickly taken into the exam room. I was asked a few questions about my health, my skin, and basically what brought me in for the visit. The medical assistant who is helping was also very patient and friendly. The one thing that stood out immediately was how friendly all of the staff members are. After a few short minutes of being in the exam room, the doctor came in and introduced herself. We spoke a little bit about my skins history and what procedures I was getting done before. She gave me some recommendations of other facilities in Fort Lauderdale that handle the specific type of issue that I was visiting for. She also recommended the same procedure that I was receiving from a different physician many many many years ago when I lived in New York. I really appreciate the fact that they did not try to force anything on me, or get me to do something or try something that they were not comfortable with let alone I was not comfortable with. The doctor was confident enough to give me information for a different office in Fort Lauderdale that can handle my situation way better than she can, but she also still offered the same procedure in office while I was there. The bottom line here is you rarely go to a doctor's office these days where a doctor will truthfully tell you what they think or what they feel or even refer you to go somewhere else for treatment that they know they truly cannot handle. Honesty like that for a medical professional is rare these days. I ended up getting a treatment done same day, and I have an appointment for one month to come back for a follow up. I think that for now I'm going to stay coming to this office because I felt comfortable, I felt heard and the staff made you feel welcomed and not judged. Dr. Julian and her staff are wonderful.

Dr. Christopher Low was able to fit me into his schedule on short notice and took incredible care of me. He was meticulous with the repair and made sure everything was done properly to give me the best possible cosmetic outcome. Dr. Low's bedside manner was exemplary, and his entire team was professional, compassionate, and accommodating throughout the entire experience. They made a stressful situation significantly easier. I'm extremely grateful that Dr. Low was willing to see me when he did. Dr. Cheung was initially recommended to me by my oncologic surgeon, and after consulting with…read moreseveral plastic surgeons, I ultimately chose him because of the strong recommendations and reputation. Unfortunately, my reconstruction became complicated by infection, seroma, and skin necrosis. I understand now that these complications can happen in breast reconstruction, even with experienced surgeons, but at the time I was terrified and felt very vulnerable after already going through cancer treatment. When I was told my expander needed to be removed, I returned to the office and realized the procedure was planned to be done there rather than in a hospital setting. I panicked. After everything that had happened, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding outside of a hospital and asked multiple times if it could be done there. I was told that was not an option. As the infection worsened over the following days, I contacted several other surgeons. Most did not want to take over another surgeon's case, but eventually another doctor agreed to help me and removed the expander in the hospital. That decision made me feel much safer emotionally and physically during an extremely difficult time. To be fair, Dr. Cheung did offer immediate implant reconstruction revision and was honest with me about the increased failure risk after infection. I appreciate that honesty. However, by that point, I had lost confidence and no longer felt emotionally supported in my care. I was also told my anxiety was contributing to the situation, which may have been true -- but after a cancer diagnosis and serious infection, my fear felt understandable. I am sharing my experience not to attack anyone, but because I think communication, compassion, and making patients feel safe are incredibly important in cancer reconstruction. A surgeon may have many excellent reviews and still not be the right fit for every patient. Right now I am struggling emotionally with how I look after losing my reconstruction, and this entire experience has been very painful. I simply hope future patients feel fully informed, heard, and supported throughout their journey.

Dr Obed is awesome!…read more I've had bad experiences with a different dermatologist that wasn't addressing my concern and was over prescribing stuff that wasn't even related to my issue. Found Dr Obed due to his great reviews and on the very first visit I could see why. Dr Obed could see the issue I had and immediately had solutions. But the best part is he wanted to attack the problem conservatively starting with a facial wash and a daily cream. My rosacea is severe so we have had to go more aggressive, but I really appreciate the steady approach. Bedside manner is great and the staff are all awesome. Always friendly and welcoming. The lady at the front desk is a saint, I have seen her calmly and nicely handle some more difficult patients.

Dr Elias takes the time to explain to you what he thinks is going on with your particular health issue and the course of treatment he recommends. Sometimes he has medical staff join him in the room, during my last visit it was his physician's assistant and another young lady and they also have always been respectful and concerned about your issues. I know they have a wide range of services here and specialize in skin care and I can wholeheartedly recommend this office for any dermatological needs you might have.

Instead I got a crooked nose with uneven shaved cartilage with a nose valve collapse (now I have major breathing issues) and still with a bulbous tip. They are extremely under qualified and inexperienced for these type of complex surgery's. I then went back a few times to follow up with my post op appointments to notify them I wasn't breathing thru my right side of my nose. He looked at me dead at my face and said "its normal" But me now Knowing the liars and cons that these people are in this establishment, I went ahead and got a second opinion from an ENT SPECIALIST, who only confirmed what I already knew was wrong. nose valve collapse, deviated septum/cartilage. I then took those documents back to Dr UECKER and showed him the paper work from the ENT SPECIALIST. Then and only then!! Was I taken seriously. Because they now couldn't lie anymore about what was wrong. Since they were lost for words at that point after that, they quickly offered me a revision rhinoplasty at the cost of paying just for the Anastasia on August of 2024 (same outcome no results) I still couldn't breath, still crooked etc. it was more of a cover up to pretend they are addressing the problem. Instead I wasted more time and money. It has been an agonizing 3 years of this. I have suffered emotional pain and stress from this. And want to share my story so you people don't make the same mistake I made. Don't be fooled by their "great" prices that they offer or their fake smile.They are all cons.
