By the time I left, my annual check up turned into two visits at the suggestion of the doctor. I was following his recommendation. Come to find out, he made a frivolous additional appointment to line his own pockets. He took advantage of me and "double-dipped" with the extra appointment. Additionally, I was told my annual wasn't covered b/c i asked questions outside of the scope of and annual visit. I was told discussing my daily medication at an annual check up is not allowed. Really? I have no idea what those questions are. Another bate and switch, this time by the doctor's office and my insurance, Its the new "pre-existing" conditions so that insurance doesn't have to pay. I asked the doctor to change the coding on the annual visit and he wouldn't. I'm not going back and deciding my next course of action. I warn you to stay way. Find an honest healthcare system to work with.

I find it hard to believe that this facility, with its gold guided ceilings and custom upholstery, can't keep track of how they're showing up in a database for the largest and virtually only payer in the state. This place is a lot of bougie nonsense decor and poor care. THIS is what's wrong with American healthcare. Ridiculous!

    The good about it, was, I arrived for my appointment before time. The bad is the front desk…read moreemployees. Were very rude to me, my card is active and with the assigned PCP name on the front of my card. It shouldn't have been such a problem, I felt embarrassed, and that the lady at the desk was incompetent and expected me to do more, and wanted me to call HUMANA again to confirm what I had already confirmed. I told her to call Humana for the information that she wanted. The Nurse, Doctor was good, after I had gotten pass the front desk. But I did mention it to the Nurse and Doctor that I had a very unpleasant experience. And when my appointment was over with, I asked my doctor if I can be seen by her at another location, because I didn't want to come back there again. And she said " that I don't have to come back there for my next appointment. Otherwise the facility there is clean, nice, I just wouldn't want to go back there again because of the two at the front desk, especially the woman.

There are sooo many redflags about this doctor and her "new"…read morebusiness that I ignored trying desperately to give her a shot because of her being young and african american, and wanting to support her business. NEVER AGAIN!!! I wouldn't send my dog to her. There is no contact person, you'll always leave a message to an automatic system and wait for a different person to call you back. The front desk people are high school students who probably don't get paid and know NOTHING about the health care business, administration or anything that they're doing. The final straw for me was a when she got upset with me that I wasn't interested in trying a new "trial medicine" FRESH on the market, she acted as if her life depended on it to convince me to try it. She carelessly wrote out prescriptions without knowing anything about them and when I asked what it was for her response would always be to google it and that she didn't know the specifics. When I was concerned about side effects of certain drugs and asked which would be the less severe, She rolled her eyes, at me, loudly spoke over me and answered her cell phone in the middle of my visit. Then told me, EVERYTHING has side effects. She was initially reallyl thirsty for positive reviews online and keep pushing for people to leave her positive reviews. They were very money hungry and acted as though I was a burden whenever I was there to check back in with her about a health concern. I waited weeks for results that she was supposed to have given me sooner. She told me she was out sick, unable to contact me, that she's doing everything by herself and clearly doesn't have the money to hire help, therefore I shouldn't expect much from her. The tone of the office and her people there was incredibly ghetto and unprofessional. Today the pharmacy called me to tell me that a prescription I had a refill on would not be automatically refilled because she lost her license.. and that they didn't want to say more for fear of offending the doctors office. She's money hungry, ghetto, disgustingly unprofessional and again,I wouldn't send my DOG to her. She should hurry up and move her practice back to the south side, like she said she would be. She needs to be reported. I'll look into it.

My first time walking…read morein, I was a bit surprised at the small size of the office, but having the doctor greet me while I was waiting made a very good first impression. Registration was easy, not much different than any other office. There was no wait time, other than the few minutes it took me to fill out the required paperwork. Once Dr. Williams was ready to see me, she brought me to a room right behind the check-in desk. The room itself was nice, and lacked the cold feeling of many other offices. The patient bed was also more comfortable than the ones I'm used to. However, the room is less important than the doctor, who was absolutely wonderful. She did all the initial assessment steps herself, rather than having an assistant talk to me and report back to her. She spent time with me, answering every question I had in a professional, informative manner. Not once did I feel rushed or like I was an annoyance, which I very well might have been with how many questions I had. Dr. Williams was even willing to talk to me about her education and other personal matters, which surprised me. She felt more like a person who I could sit down and chat with, rather than a typical doctor who sees you for a minute or two and leaves the room. All in all, I was thoroughly impressed with the Doctor's practice, her patient assessment skills, and her personal manner. Never have I felt so comfortable with a doctor before. I do believe I've found a new PCP.

Scheduling an appointment and getting past the front desk of doctors offices has never been easy at most places. However , Dr josephs receptionist wajeeha was very warm and welcoming and made me feel at ease . There was zero wait time and no hassle in scheduling an appointment. Dr Joseph is very competent, knowledgeable and a capable physician who took a through history and carefully explained the possibilities and what testing would be needed to come to a diagnosis. He was reassuring and answered questions without being impatient. Dr joseph runs a very busy office , but he patiently listened to my heart and lungs and checked my blood pressure without rushing . He gave me lifestyle and diet modification advice to control my numbers rather than just prescribing pills like most physicians do . I was very impressed with treatment provided. He gave different treatment options and explained the pros and cons of each . I felt I was well informed regarding the medication choices ,and well supported in making them . I wholeheartedly recommend Dr joseph as your primary care physician. Working in the medical field , i found his approach refreshing and I am confident I am on the way to a successful outcome.
