What made the visit even better was Dr. Wong performed the fastest root canal I've ever had without causing me any pain. Even the Novocain shots were painless. He also explained each step he was performing as he went though the procedure. An excellent job in under an hour. After the procedure, I was instructed to take Tylenol and ibuprofen every six hours for the pain and it is now nine hours after the procedure and I have not had to take even one additional pain pill. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wong to anyone. After I returned to worked in under 2 hours including travel time to and from the base, one of my coworkers chimed in that he's [Dr. Wong] the best!!! I have to fully agree!

He took care of their cavities and I've referred him to many other people in the county. I'm leaving this review because I stumbled on his yelpsite while looking for ortho and was surprised by the low stars. Majority of the low reviews seem like billing or scheduling issues, which seem more front office related. I did personally did not have any issues with the front office or feel rushed, but these concerns made by others do seem valid. On the flipside, we found the dentist himself to be very capable with regard to the dental work, having great chairside manners. I hope this review helps.

Also they don't want you to be in any pain, (I had root canal and there wasn't a large amount of pain,- also my nerve didn't want to come out so it took longer than usual) which made my anxiety go down a lot. I also have no insurance at the moment and they were more than willing to work out a plan (They have a thing where if you don't have insurance they will give you 30% off) This is coming from a person who hasn't been to the dentist in 8 years (I feel really guilty about it...) and hey, I even went back!

I felt a bit scammed when I called the front office asking them "do you accept my insurance" and they responded "yes". I called the office asking why I was being charged for OON and their response was "you asked if we accept your insurance. But you didn't ask if we were within network with your insurance". I feel the communication could improve in order for better customer service to help educate others who don't live in the confusing health insurance world. My only complaint.

This is the worst dental provider I've been to in my 60 years of going to a dentist. Yuan is very rude and doesn't know how to treat his patients with dignity and respect, it's understandable why his office assistant quit on him. I've been trying to get established with this dentist since July, and it's been an incredibly…read morefrustrating experience as a first time patient. My first appointment was canceled the same day because they were "short-staffed." When I finally got rescheduled for an exam, I showed up for my 9:00 am appointment, but the front office staff didn't even arrive until 9:05-9:10 am, so I was waiting outside the office door until they opened. The dentist was nice when I finally saw them, but they couldn't schedule me for a cleaning for another three months because they had no availability. Fast forward to that cleaning appointment: I showed up at 8:55 am for my 9:00 am appointment, and the office was closed once again, even though the lights were on. At 9:10 am--10 minutes after my appointment was scheduled--I got a text saying they had to cancel because of "network issues." This was incredibly inconsiderate. I had taken time off work, wasted gas, and driven there for absolutely nothing--for the second time! To make matters worse, they never answer their phones, so trying to get in touch with them is a nightmare. This office has canceled two appointments on me since July, and I've only been seen once. The communication is terrible, the management is completely disorganized, and they are wildly inconsistent and inconsiderate. I ended up calling a different local dentist that takes my insurance, and they got me in for an exam and cleaning the very next day. I absolutely do not recommend this office to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

Within 5 minutes of me leaving the office I received a text stating that I would have to reschedule 3 weeks out due to short staffing/their vacation time. Decided to give them one last try this year. Interesting how they have a 48 hour appointment cancellation policy for the patients, but can't seem to do the same on their end. I get it stuff happens, but this has been too many times now. Very sad because I actually liked it here... Takes FOREVER for someone to respond or they simply don't get back to you
