In my last review of petco, I had just lost an 80 dollar fish and was sold some fake gold for 500. So, I was already a little upset. I ever used to go to petco, because people told me it was expensive. Some of the equipment is, but the fish are reasonably priced. The staff there is helpful and try to work with you if there is a problem. I'm there about once a week and it is also somewhere I can take my dog if it's freezing outside. read more

We had to unregister for a puppy class and Josh was great to help us get our full refund. The system was being weird but Josh was persistent and very friendly and helpful to get our class taken care of. This store is cleaner than others I've been to and I suggest it. read more

If I was able to give this company less stars, I would. It's unbelievable how hard it is to get a fucking fish. I have a big enough tank, which I showed the man. I have a water filter and everything you need for a koi fish and this is the third time that this has happened to me. We thought the store was open later and showed up twenty minutes before closing. Lindsay in the fish department helped us SO MUCH. We bought a twenty gallon tank and all the accessories for it. She had a great attitude and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had had a terrible experience with another employee and nearly avoided returning. I stopped in this morning and picked out a fish tank and all the accessories. The helpful person in the fish dept said to place the order online for pickup so I could get a discount. I did that. I paid with my credit card. My card went through and was reflected on my account. Stood around for ten minutes, and staff said to check my email. My order was cancelled. No explanation. Josh the manager insisted it was a problem with my card. I called the credit card company and put them on speaker, they told Josh that it wasn't a problem with my card. He said it had to be a problem on my end and he had no way of knowing what happened. He was really unhelpful and rude in my opinion and went to his office and closed the door. I tried calling Petco customer service and they also don't know why the order was cancelled. Their complaint line is so busy that four hours later, they haven't been able to call me back (I guess there is a secret person who knows why but they are very busy). This is really the only place, other than Wal Mart, were one can buy fish and aquarium supplies in the area. I have to say that the staff that I've interacted with in the fish department have been great for their knowledge and demeanor. read more

Horrible horrible I was taking a picture of a fish to ask my disabled mom what one she liked because she can't leave the house a employee yelled across the store and said no taking pictures of fish and I picked a fish out I wanted to buy the employee stated that it was to cold outside to sell fish I left and called the manger and that same employee answered began swearing at me saying very rude things basically telling me lyes about why he couldn't sell me a fish because he was to lazy to get it began disrespecting me and my girlfriend saying F you and F that You don't F ing know the rules I post on Facebook about my experience since I never experienced anything like this in my life the real manager contacted me saying that he was lying about the selling the fish and that I could have bought the fish it was my moms birthday and she likes fish and I couldn't even buy one because the rude employee was making up rules that weren't true the real manager tells me I can come in and get a fish for free because the employee was lying about everything he was saying and being very rude and swearing at me and when he called me on the phone to apologize he was still trying to argue with me saying it was my fault haven't went back since never will. read more

Wouldn't even give one star. Took my dog in for a bath, teeth brushed, nails trimmed, and paid extra for nail buffing. When I went to pick him up the lady gave me the slip to pay first. When I went back to pick up my dog she then said they didn't cut his nails because he was too scared and I could come back another day. I asked if I'd be charged again since I paid already and paid extra for the buffing and she said no I'd have to pay again. What?? I paid 51.00 for services and gave a tip because I paid prior to knowing it wasn't done. When I got home I see they attempted to cut the back feet nails first and cut too short and it must have bleed and hurt. Plus, I question if his teeth were brushed and he even got a bath because he didn't smell different at all. So maybe they use an non-scented shampoo? Breath was supposed to be fresh too as I paid extra did the breath freshener. What waist is money. First time we tried them and I'll never go back. Thanks for nothing. read more

While visiting your store yesterday with my puppy, an employee came up to me and said that I should not bring her into public places until she has had her second set of shots due to two puppies coming down with parvo and subsequently dying. I had adopted 2 bearded dragons and want 2 females. I could not have stressed that enough. I had an associate check and make sure they were both females and she assured me they were female. Now that they are a month older I did research and found out that they BOTH are male! So upset. Now I will have to house them separately or sell one of them... no one should be told and assured that what they are buying is what you want then find out for yourself that it is the complete opposite.. and since its past a month I wont be able to do anything about it... they put me in such a bad situation not just for me but for the Bearded Dragons.. read more
