GPS will bring you next door to this location so be aware of that. First thing you'll notice upon walking in is a bunch of tiny dogs running around behind the front desk, all exquisitely groomed. Very curious and friendly faces. Kristie herself is extremely professional and friendly, you can see this isn't a job but a passion. Results were way better than could have even anticipated, especially since we didn't give direction on how to trim. Highly recommend this groomer. Kristie was great with our pup during a recent grooming!…read more We were in the market for a new groomer and Kristie returned our call promptly and spent 20 minutes going over everything and anything she needed to know prior to his grooming appointment. \ On the day of the appointment the waiting area was a bit chaotic with a lot of dogs and their owners showing up at once. The front desk seemed a little all over the place but Kristie still came out to speak with us and go over everything. Two hours later our pup was ready and looked absolutely handsome! While the waiting area is a bit cramped they do tell you two hours so you're free to run errands and come back. There is also a porch out front if you absolutely must wait. Prices are fair and they're very transparent as to why the grooming cost what it did.

Erica arrived a bit early (great!) and did a fab job on my small senior dog Sam. He looks handsome and got a new bandana too. Why a mobile groomer you may ask? Well....I was so tired of bad service from former groomers. It was always the same - during the first few visits (the romance stage lol) Sam was taken on time and emerged from the salon looking good with pep in his step. But after awhile there would always be some "event" (i e. carelessness) resulting in an injury, or his nails would be left very long, etc. And he was often waiting for hours due to overcrowding. Note that I show up on time and tip well but that didn't seem to matter. So if you're a dog "pawrent" who doesn't have the time to make two roundtrips to the groomer, and/or just looking for superior gentle one-on-one service, give Groomers of the Galaxy a try. They have various packages ranging from a full groom to mini-groom so check out their website. They use gentle products and hand dry their clients. A bit pricier than in-salon service but totally worth it. They currently operate on Long Island but said they're always expanding to other areas.

My bad, these things happen, I must have called the wrong Soapy Dogs in Huntington Station, ny. I thanked her and left. To my surprise, it was in fact the same place I called on Tuesday. I write this in warning to my fellow dog mama's and papa's to steer clear. Soapy Dogs was in disarray and smelled and apparently has a ghost answering calls and giving random information.

We met outside to do a curbside drop off, and she asked us what types of services we wanted, what type of cut we'd like, pretty much all the specifics. She texted us photos and videos of the grooming process and would ask us what we thought of his fur length towards the end. When we went to pick him up, he was super happy and excited. She did such an amazing job with him. He's a 9 year old pomeranian mix, and he came back looking like a puppy. Also, I'm not sure what shampoo and conditioner she used on him, but his fur has never been softer. It's been two weeks since his grooming, and his fur is still super soft.
