Actual bath was ok. Nails were barely done and it seems not all nails were cut, I paid extra to have his paw pads shaved and they didn't do that. His breath definitely said his teeth weren't brushed. I loved Petco grooming where we moved from. Here in Little Rock and North Little Rock suck. They've lost my business and I'm looking for a new groomer. read more

Went in for fish came out with nothing. While their selection of aquarium necessities is outstanding, their fish leave much to be desired. Many fish are being held in the same tanks that are not compatible. Be mindful of injury when you are looking, especially to the gouramis that are in with the mollies. This place is cool - there are hamsters and gerbils and mice and Guinea pigs and parakeets; iguanas and bearded dragons and tarantulas and fluorescent-colored fish. You can watch cute dogs getting their hair cut. It smells bad though. I think it's the ferrets. read more

My review is of the grooming services, and I did not even want to give one star I would have like to have given a -5 but there was no option for that! I have a five month old medium golden doodle and I took her in for a bath haircut and nail trim for $59. I told the groomer that this was her second time and I was in the car and I can come in anytime to calm her down if needed. She already had a full haircut at 15 weeks without incident at a different location. About 30 minutes after having her there I got a call from the groomer saying she had water diarrhea and pooped on herself so she was in the kennel air drying and she was gonna have to give her another bath but they couldn't do the service today and I would need to come and get her. I told her she didn't have water diarrhea when I brought her, but they said it was probably from anxiety from being in the kennel, but she is kenneled every day while my daughter is in nursing school. I asked how much I would have to pay and they told me $37 with taxes & fee it would be $47!! I said you've got to be kidding me I shouldn't have to pay almost $50!!! When they brought her out to me, she was half wet. They didn't even blow dry her and refused to try again! Nor did they trim her nails or try cut her muzzle or anything. Just a half wet stinking dog for $47 is what I was expected to go home with!! I was willing to pay something but I was not willing to pay that much for a half-wet, stinky dog that had unexplained diarrhea, which made me wonder what they had done to my dog! They refused to give me a discounted price. I asked to talk to the manager and the lady I was talking to said she was the manager and she was extremely rude. Not willing to help me at all more mad at me for not being willing to pay $50 to have a wet stinky dog with no services done on it except a bath! I asked if there was anybody above her and she said I would have to call customer service so I did. But while I was on the phone waiting for the customer service to talk to their supervisor and by the way the customer service people were very nice unlike her, but while I was waiting on the phone the Petco grooming manager asked me to leave!!! I got so mad at this point I said fine I'll leave and take my dog with me! I would never go back to this location and I warn anybody that's considering taking their poor puppy there for that is the rudest manager I've ever dealt with in my life!!! I was never unwilling to pay but was unwilling to pay full price but I was NOT willing to be treated and spoke to ugly and pay full price for a wet dog!! read more

Second time I have come to this location. First time came for crickets for a reptile, all they had was pre-packaged and mostly dead and the price was ridiculously high. Second time was for a heat lamp and I had a very poor selection and again prices were on the high end. There were no employees around anywhere to assist, and the store was quite odiferous. I took my rat terrier here to get trimmed today and it was completely different than the Bryant location. They were friendly, attentive and pleasant. I've been here several times with both the terrier and my boxer...they fuss over them and are just awesome. They were able to get Blanca in right away! I originally left a 5 star review sometime in 2015. But the next time I took him, had a different bather, and he wasn't finished when I came to pick him up - his nails weren't clipped. She even asked me to get down on the hard concrete floor to hold him while she tried. I'm just too old to be kneeling on a concrete floor, period, and especially when I'm paying for the service. If I could wrangle him down and clip them myself, I'd do it instead of hauling elsewhere for the service. original review: I've taken my dog a couple of places for a bath. He doesn't need "grooming" - just a bath w/ a toenail clip. This past week I took him for the first time to Petco. While I thought the price was high - $50 - I just didn't want to do the bathing myself that day. Now, I think the price was well worth it. First of all, he smelled and looked great. One place I took him a few times, he still smelled very "doggy" when picking him up, and the other place, he smelled okay, but not great. Many times, maybe they clipped his nails, but I couldn't really tell. Certainly couldn't tell the next day he'd had a bath. I told them to clip his nails short. They did. I think they really scrub and get your pet clean instead of barely sudsing up and maybe spraying w/ something at the end. He was also completely dry and smoothed out instead of damp and/or bushy when I picked him up. Best of all - a few days later - he still smells good. There is also the option of a self-grooming station where you can bathe your pet - I think it costs $12, maybe $14. You can have nails clipped for an additional $10. So, I'll be returning to Petco with my precious, and will either bathe him myself if I'm feeling cash poor, or have them do it if I feel flush. read more

There is no other option in our house for grooming. My little rescue is very wary of anyone other than close family members, but he has LOVED Mr Mike from the start! The individualized care and the obvious love that these guys have for their customers is apparent from the second you walk in! We wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

I had a very terrible experience at the Petco in Little Rock, AR. My child was viewing the birds when he was rudely spoken to by shift manager "Brittany". As I approached the shift manager, she continued to be rude. I had $300.00 worth of items to purchase for our new puppy. I refuse to buy from a company that lack in customer service experience. If shift manager "Brittany" were part of my company, she would not work for the company much longer. This is very unacceptable to be rude to anybody's children or customers. read more

I found most of my aquariums supplies plus larger aquarium plants. Aquariums were clean, and fish looked healthy. I couldn't get help to find one thing I needed. Checkout was pleasant.
