if I could rate this place a zero, I would. Only one cat, the litter was horrible, you could smell it from a distance, and the cat litter has clearly not been cleaned. The fish? mostly sick, fins horrible, not to mention the dead ones. The reptiles are in horrible cages. The Geckos have no hides, barely any substrate. Chameleon tank is low to the ground, no space to climb up. the turtle is questionable, no idea if it's dead or not. read more

Petco Feasterville is a very well run store. I have purchased both Guinea pigs and fish here, and they take excellent care of their animals. Courtney who works with small animals, and Brooke, who works the register, are both very helpful and friendly, and have a good work ethic. They also provide excellent customer service. Love this store for my puppies needs. Came in on this day to get a new ID tag for my puppy- since it was long overdue and he had already escaped from my yard once unexpectedly without a ID Tag, which was very scary knowing that he could've been lost forever! They had a nice display of dog tags to choose from and I ended up choosing an Army camouflage dog tag for him since I am a veteran of the Army. It was quick and easy, I just had to pay for the ID and then take it over to this machine they had in the store to engrave it with my dogs name and my phone number if God forbid he ever got out again. I wasn't quite sure what to do so I asked the employee behind the counter, and he was very helpful and showed me what to do. Every time I come to this location, the staff is very friendly and helpful with whatever I need. I also think its a plus that in this location they have bathrooms for the public. They have pets to adopt, fish to buy, rabbits, and birds to buy also and small animals like mice and gerbils. When I bring my daughter we spend some time looking at the cats since she misses her cat that she no longer has. We can spend a lot of time there just looking at them. When it comes to the prices of the pet food, it is a bit pricey for some of the food, but they also have deals as well and a clearance section which is pretty cool! read more

So i have a dog with high anxiety and i always thought her fear of going into the grooming dept.was just her nature.but after the last time i took her to petco i could see what was wrong , now i cannot honestly blame anyone because i didnt catch them in action but in my heart and how i know my baby i truely belive she was abused there she had cuts on her and a scab ripped off her ear it looked as if someone used a wire brush on her with alot of agression.she is a very short haird dog,she is a big dog and part pitty but very gentle and loving. And all we wanted was the truth and an apology but got niether.so i would not recommend them nor will my baby ever go back there for grooming again. read more

@petco feasterville is a disgrace and I highly recommend never taking your dog there for a grooming service. Not only are they rude to you they aren't nice to your dog. Sad! My dog is extremely timid but sweet as can be and wouldn't hurt a fly. All I needed was her nails cut. I've been there before and was unhappy with the way the service was but decided to give them another chance.... big mistake. Not only was the groomer annoyed my dog was anxious she barely cut her nails? When I went in to get her the women swung open the door to the back and wouldn't speak to me and let her coworker hand over my dog.... unprofessional and just rude. Taking my business elsewhere and will be sure to never go there again. You can be rude and mean to me but don't be that was toward my pride and joy. Figure it out Petco !!! Went there on a Saturday night close to closing time and the staff was super nice and accommodating. I never felt rushed. Kelsy does a great job with my dog's grooming. My dog Sally has been coming to Feasterville's Petco for 9 years. Sally looks forward to her Doggie Spa Day. She pulls me across the parking lot and enters the store with her tail wagging. Kelsy checks her out and makes a fuss over her. The brush, wash, cut plus nails and teeth have Sally looking great and feeling good. She struts out the door. read more

As a loyal customer for years I have never been so disappointed than today. When I went into the store with my mother and asked to see one of the guinea pigs, the lady responded with "no not today you can't." She then asked me if my parents we're even with me, take into consideration that I am 19 years old, well old enough to hold a guinea pig without a parent!!!! She then said if I wanted to see one I would have to come back another day because they were "too busy" and only had two employees working. Well Petco you suck and I will not be returning. I bought the Imagitarium semi-hexagonal aquarium kit 6.7 gal to try to salvage my daughter's misconception as to what is required to have fish as pets. My decision was based on primarily size and price. Of the seven fish that she bought from Petco to place in a less than one gallon gold fish bowl acquired from Walmart, within 24 hours 5 fish had died. I am sure she did not explain at Petco the circumstances of her misadventure. No blame there, however, when I was at their store and selected this aquarium, 3 kinds of substrate, artificial plants, a test kit, water conditioner and a siphon, I also asked about replacement filters for the included water filter which are incremental in maintaining an aquarium. The rep who was assisting me, blew me off to service another customer who wanted feeder fish. I spent $175 for my setup, how much did he spend? I found this totally unacceptable and have yet to find replacement filters for this product, neither online nor in the store. Be aware that the replacement filters may not exist, even though this is a Petco product. The product box says the filter requires a "B filter cartridge", good luck trying to find that. Today a rep in the store suggested that I custom make my filters, what???? If Petco cannot provide the essential filter cartridges required, then they should not sell this product. In fairness, the filter and lighting system are working fine, but I have only had this aquarium in operation for a week. Other reviewers have reported problems within that time frame or longer. Just saying, you get what you pay for, but this setup should work as advertised, otherwise, Petco, please delete it from your inventory. read more

I don't like seeing the betta fish in such small bowls and I always complain about it but of course it never does any good. The girl working in the Petco today went on and on about how they are use to it and live that way in the wild. Well The view that fighting fish often live in mudholes and therefore can be kept in such conditions is not really tenable. The fish will exhibit their full finery in a well-established, balanced aquarium and it is only under such conditions that their keeper will be able to appreciate their beauty at its best." I don't know why these sales people think they know everything. They give poor direction to people and who knows, someone might just keep the poor betta in the small bowl forever after she listens to her. MY GOD! Poor betta. read more
