Worst customer service ever. Andy Merch is the worse. I went to buy some fish on a Sunday 5 min before the closed and he would not help me. I understand you want to go home but you should help your customers if they come in during business. I also think they have a big water problem with there tank. I bough a few fish a few weeks before and everything in my tank died and they blamed it on my tank. After going in today I saw a few tanks that where empty with fish. Beware and stay away from Andy Merch. He is the WORST!!!! You are paid to help your customers so help them.

Frank Ferguson's Testimonial…read more Frank is an 8.5yr young albino, deaf Great Dane. We rescued Frank when he was 4 months old from a breeder who no longer wanted him because his hearing and possible vision impairment. Frank has always been a playful pup and when we started realizing his older brother Leroy was showing his age and not being as playful, we decided to adopt Frank a brother/companion he could play and bond with. That's when Tom, a piebald great dane came into our lives. The plan worked out great, they became instant brothers and played all day/every day. After a couple of years Tom grew a great deal and playtime started becoming rougher and unfortunately Frank injured his rear right leg. We took Frank into The Animal Care Center of Castle Pines to meet with his doc, DR. Johnathan Quint for radiographs and he referred us to an orthopedic specialist in Colorado Springs for further diagnostic evaluation. The doc in Colorado Springs took some more radiographs of Frank's leg and assumed Frank may have injured/torn his ACL and suggested us doing a TPLO on Frank. Frank at the time, was favoring his leg but he would still apply pressure/weight bearing to the leg. He only favored it on strenuous occasions. It was not a complete tear, to where he was not be weight bearing at all, it did not get to that point. So, we decided to opt out of the TPLO at that time and try some more alternative routes. Then, we decided to go to The Animal Care Center for his rehabilitation and it was the best decision we could have made. The staff at the clinic took so much time and care into Frank's injury and were such a great deal of support for my husband and I through this journey. Throughout a two year span of PT, laser, treadmill, swimming & massage, Frank showed a lot of improvement and just loved all the attention, affection and peanut butter Kristen and Kelli would give him. Frank would get so excited to come to every appointment! Frank came in for a follow up appointment with Dr. McVicker and the conversation of Stem Cell Therapy came up because of the flyers they offered in the exam room. Dr. McVicker thought it would be a great idea to explore all our options and informed us of an orthopedic doctor (Dr.Gaynor w/Peak Performance Veterinary Group) that specializes in stem cell therapy. So, she set up an apt with us to come by for a consultation with Dr. Gaynor. We met with Dr.Gaynor, Dr. Bartling and his assistant Holly in July 2018. They all were so fabulous. They spent an abundance of time with Frank and us, examining and going over all our options. We all decided as a team that stem cell therapy could improve Frank's quality of life and pain management, so we figured we would give it a shot. Two weeks later, we had his stem cell therapy treatment done. The staff at Animal Center, Dr. Quint, Dr. Gaynor and VetStem Biopharma were extremely helpful during this process and made it unbelievably stress free. It was actually a piece of cake! It took less than 3 months for Frank to start showing signs of improvement, major improvement! Actually, Frank was acting like a puppy again. His energy level went up, he became more involved and interested in daily activities. He started playing with his brothers again, he rebuilt his confidence with stairs and jumping into the car and on the couch. Most of all, we have not seen him limp once since his stem cell treatment 4 months ago. He truly is back to his old self again, but 3 years younger!!! We have been bragging/educating as many people as possible about the treatment Frank has gone through and explain how life changing it was for our pup Frank and ourselves. Truly was a great decision! We can't thank the Staff at Animal Care Center or Peak Performance, VetStem Biopharma enough for improving the quality of all our lives, especially Frank. Love all of you tons!!!! XO Sincerely, Frank, Andrea & Mark Ferguson

My senior cat was suffering from advanced arthritis and was in a lot of pain. I was referred to…read moreDr. Gaynor by my regular vet for advanced stem cell therapy. It was not a fun process to go through, having to put my senior cat under general anesthesia (always risky) for the fat sample extraction, but in the end, it was totally worth it. The stem cells are injected, and then it takes approximately 90 days for the full effect of the treatment. I waited until 4 months to do this review. The treatment was successful for my cat and it has made a big improvement in the quality of his life, as he has much less pain and more mobility, and is generally more like his old self! Dr. Gaynor has another veterinary partner that he works with to perform some of the procedures. There was a bit of communication breakdown in regard to my cat's previous veterinary records and his negative reaction to certain medications. But overall, I was very happy with the experience of working with Dr. Gaynor. He was available by phone for our numerous questions beforehand (we don't live in the area), and in person provided additional information on what to expect during the process. He followed up to check on my cat's status at various stages. I am so thankful that he was available as an option for us.

Natalie was able to train both of them to heel together and not be leash reactive anymore. They are great with sending daily pictures and videos and once a week you get a report card that lets you know of the your dogs progress. Natalie also was amazing when we picked up the dogs with teaching us how to reinforce the new training and answering all of our questions. While its definitely an investment ($$$), it's 1000% worth it. Went from having dogs that are constantly pulling on the leash, to dogs that walk right by my side!

I decided to wait until after our trip to look for a new rescue; however, a friend in Texas asked if I would please take a stray that her grand kids had found there. They couldn't keep him, they were unable to find anyone else to take him and they didn't want to drop him off at a rescue shelter there. Hence, I ended up with an untrained but loveable stray named Buddy. Due to the short amount of time before our trip, I looked for a place to teach him some manners. Based on a recommendation from another company and the glowing reviews on the web, I dropped him off at Dog Dynamix for 3 weeks of board and train for $3,495. Pricey, but I was glad they would be able to complete his training before we left for Montana. Imagine my surprise when Buddy came back to me unable to do anything that he hadn't been doing when I dropped him off. He could do a little heeling for very brief periods provided there were zero distractions. Same with 'sit'. Didn't know 'stay' or 'down'. No basic obedience behavior whatsoever. What I got for my $3,495 was 1 pet cot, 1 slip leash, 1 remote collar set and 4 cans of dog food (not a part of his regular diet). I did not get a dog that exhibited any training. Fortunately, he's still very loveable. I would not recommend Dog Dynamix for anything other than possibly boarding.

I did not end up using RMP because we decided to do an intensive board and train boot camp at last…read moreminute, but after several hours of research and calls with kennels throughout Summit County and Denver, and multiple calls with RMP, we would absolutely use RMP for boarding, especially challenging dogs. They seem to possess the expertise and experience, and most importantly, love, to manage difficult dogs who dont play well with others, dog and human. I know its odd to write a review without actually using RPM's facility, but i was so impressed with the time they took to educate me on their approach to dealing with difficult dogs and how devoted they are to caring for your dog like it was there own.

Not a day goes by that I don't regret bringing my dog here for boarding. I checked my dog Nirvana…read morein for boarding on February 6, 2023 in good health with no prior injuries. In the morning of February 7, 2023 I received text messages and photos of Nirvana from the manager Stacy that mentioned nothing of this injury. She said that Nirvana was doing just great via text. (see photos below) However, my dog looked very uncomfortable and now knowing that she had a torn ligament, it seems like she was not being properly cared for as the photos so her sitting in an office chair, meaning that they were having her crawl in and out of the chair while she was injured, and also putting her in a situation where she could've further injured herself. On February 8, 2023 I received a phone call from the manager Stacey, stating that Nirvana had suffered a minor sprain while boarding, and had developed a limp. Allegedly Nirvana was examined by a veterinarian Dr.Sarah Love who is their "resident" Vet (owner's wife). They advised me that the "minor injury" would heal naturally within a few weeks, and that no further care or diagnostics was deemed to be needed by Dr. Love. Nirvana's medical records prove she never had a limp/injury before this incident. Because of the dishonesty and lack of transparency about the injury in boarding, my dog did not get the proper medical care she needed in an appropriate amount of time. A few months passed and she continued to not heal, and seemed to be in pain. In autumn of 2023 I took her in for an examination from a vet in our local community of Santa Monica, CA. The staff was immediately very concerned and asking for medical records from the initial examination. I explained that no medical records were ever provided and despite making multiple phone calls to contact Rocky Mountain Pet Resort or Dr. Sarah love for medical records of the alleged exam that took place, they have refused to cooperate or provide any records. After receiving radiology in October 2023, and proper care here in California, my dog was diagnosed with a permanent ligament injury. She has been prescribed medication that she permanently hast to take that she never had to take before prior to this injury. The veterinarian made it very clear that if the injury had been properly disclosed at the time, and had been properly examined by a medical professional, that there was more that could have been done when the initial injury took place. Unfortunately, because Rocky Mountain pet resort intentionally deceived me regarding the severity of her injury neglected to provide Nirvana proper care in a timely manner in response to the injury. The injury has now become a chronic permanent injury that does not have any options as far as further surgeries or treatment. Rocky Mountain Pet Resort has been so difficult regarding the situation that they have even asked me to no longer contact them, yet they were never able to professionally respond to the situation either. They have refused any refunds for her care, and I have accumulated many medical bills for my dog since bringing her to this facility. The worst part is that my dog lives in chronic pain on a daily basis, and she is in so much pain that she does not even want to go down the stairs to use the restroom. She used to be able to enjoy her quality of life after being rescued by me and we used to be able to go on long walks around the Los Angeles Marina now she is barely able to complete a quarter mile walk around our neighborhood. She constantly is licking the injury and also this creates other concerns like she could cause an infection because she licks her self to the point where there is a open wound out of pain. Now she also has to wear an E collar often, and that is not very comfortable for her. Her life was never like this until she boarded at Rocky Mountain Pet Resort. I took ample time to disclose Nirvana's special needs due to her situation as a rescue dog. Stacey assured me that Rocky Mountain Pet Resort had the capacity to work with her as a rescue dog and handle her special accommodations that we had discussed. This injury could've been easily prevented had the boarding facility followed the appropriate care for my dog. Prior to boarding Nirvana I took the time to disclose her special needs, and it was discussed that she was from Los Angeles an unfamiliar with snow. It was also disclosed that she cannot really be around other dogs. During this conversation Stacey was provided very detailed directions to not walk her without a leash on and keep her away from other dogs. And if needed to minimize walks, and to not take her on the snow. They ignored all special care instructions & fed her food that could have triggered intestinal bleeding!
