This review is just for the grooming portion…read more They were able to get my 4 year old, 65lbs, shaggy labradoodle in within 2 days of me calling for a groom. We asked for a total shave down/summer cut, and she looked wonderful after!! No spots were missed and she came out very happy. The groomer checked her in and was there for pick up. It took the typical 4 hours. I usually go to Petco or Petsmart because of cost, but when we moved to TX I wanted to try somewhere else. The cost was the same but the groomer took her time to get the knots out between her toes and shave her legs evenly...which wasn't the case at Petco/Petsmart. Also her super hairy doodle ears were plucked all the way. Plus! They got her in sooner. Usually for the bigger retail places it's a week or more out. For large dogs they do not express anal glands, just fyi. Wasn't a deal breaker for me. All the dogs coming in for daycare were super cute and excited! It makes we want to try it out. :)

They also shaved (cleaned up around) their paws and ears. I've always seen that left natural. The price was fantastic, and the ladies were great. I will be calling them again soon!!

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences since becoming a client at Delaware Animal Clinic. Every…read morevisit leaves me feeling well taken care of, educated, and genuinely supported. The team communicates clearly and follows up, which gives me so much peace of mind as a pet owner. I especially want to recognize Reagan at the front desk. Over the past few weeks, while some of the vets were out of town, she consistently followed up, kept me informed, and made sure I understood the next steps in my cat's care. Even when I was feeling emotional, she handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and true compassion -- which meant more than she probably knows. They're now helping coordinate a referral to a dermatologist for my cat's skin and allergy issues, and I'm incredibly grateful for the thorough care throughout this process. I highly recommend Delaware Animal Clinic to anyone looking for a team that truly cares. -Jennie

As other reviewers state, they are rather expensive, but I have great pet insurance and I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" so I never shopped around for a cheaper place since I was happy with their care. Always had a good experience with them until recently. I don't know what has happened, but this is my third time in the last year to have an issue getting an appointment. No one ever answers the phone anymore and when I leave (numerous) messages they never get a response. Last time my cat was sick and I called because the course of treatment wasn't working, the receptionist told me a vet tech would call me right back. Never heard a word from them and ended up bringing him to another vet. Not wanting to start over with a new vet I tried calling when it was time for his annual wellbeing check and vaccines. Never got a call back and ended up at another vet again. Today was the last straw. Cat has been vomiting since 11:00pm last night. I called today and left messages twice with no response. I will be taking him elsewhere from now on. Not sure what happened, but if you're thinking about becoming a client of theirs I would think twice. There are still plenty of vets in Beaumont that actually answer their phones and return your call.

They said she was tangled to where the only option was to shave her. I say they didn't wash her properly. She wasn't tangled until they got ahold of her and it went bad from there. In the past I had her fur get tangled during washing and you just need to brush and brush as your drying. I believe it was the conditioner that was the culprit. I figured a professional would be able to either fix or not let it happen. she had been there several times with good success but they really messed her up. I wouldn't bring any long hair dog to them. They had the audacity to say that I wasn't brushing her with the correct brush. I know she went in a big pile of fluff and came out a shaved dog.
