I never ordinarily write reviews but in this case, I must…read more For a start, this woman was hostile from the moment we arrived. She was not warm to my dog, kept getting the gender wrong and did not remember the name. She criticised me publicly in front of other customers, did not believe the information I gave her and when I tried to explain issues, the owner looked to her friend who was present (home based business) and rolled her eyes. She was not warm to my dog and when my dog cried when I left, at no time did she try to comfort. She tied my dog up and then walked off without a backward glance. When I arrived to collect my dog, the owner told me she didn't believe I had bathed my dog when I said I had (my dog digs holes, runs through bushes and is generally very adventurous), she berated me and argued with me. I paid the $70 and left. The appointment took 15 minutes for a shave but no extra's like nail clipping etc. I tied to talk to her but she said, "look, I am not going to argue with you, I have 20 years experience with dogs". Really - even if all she said was true, does she normally treat her customers like this? It was so bad. Not only have I never experienced such poor customer service, the grooming she offered for the same price as the bigger companies was not good. Never going back.

You can go there looking for your lost animal, but in order to adopt, you must go out to their adoption centre at Bracken Ridge on the other side of town. This was a bit disappointing as the Brisbane City Council website makes out that this is an adoption centre. If looking to adopt a dog on this side of town, best to head to the RSPCA centre at Wacol.
