I stumbled upon this store way back in February/March during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. It was on of the stops and the moment I walked in the store, i gave an audible gasp. This place was beautiful! The decor was amazing! I was immediately imagining how it would look like in the house i was buying. I knew at that moment this store was dangerous... because it would separate me from my money in no time! I spoke with the owner of the store, Joanne, when i found out that they also did drapes. My new home came with some awfully garish drapes... purple drapes!?!?! Black drapes for a dining room? Ridiculous! I needed some new drapes and Joanne promised me she would show me some great options. She came to my new home and measured, she came up with someone wonderful ideas. During this time i also found out she was an interior designer. I just hired her to help me decorate the home and get me new drapes and decor to make my home beautiful. This was a great decision! Joanne has impeccable taste! She listens and understands the type of style her customers have... she then takes that and brings pieces that tastefully use that style to adorn and enrich your home. So much of my home decor now is from her store! I love how beautiful my home is!!!! Love it!!!!! If you are looking to change the drapes in your home... this is the place! More over, one of my favorite hobbies is shopping for home decor. I love making my home more beautiful and comfortable. Antique stores, which combine both my love of old things and my love of decor... is one of my favorite types of store to shop in. Touches of Time, is one of the better antique stores I have been to and has become one of my favorite stores in my new home town of Van Wert. I have come several times already. I have bought items for myself including beer steins, antique candle holders, and other items. I bought my friend apple some cute gifts from here, that she loved. I also came here during the 2020 Van Wert Chocolate Walk, which they were involved to giving out free chocolate. This store is just wonderful, it has items of all kinds: Christmas decorations, books, furniture, collectibles, tools, a huge grandfather clock, coins, etc. Come here often because there is always sometime new and interesting here to find. I ordered a significant amount of furniture for my home, my daughter's home, and my wife's office last year. And, as I stated before, I found the sales people helpful and the deliveries positive. But, WOW...Bob's service department is a complete mess. I had a very simple issue with my touch lights not working on a headboard I called about in January. First, they made me wait two weeks for a tech to come out and confirm what I already knew...the control box on the back has gone bad. Then I waited several more weeks before calling to find out when they were going to come out and fix it only to find out the part was delayed. They said they would cancel that order and order it again with a rush and have it within a week and after another two weeks of not hearing from them, I called again only to be told it wouldn't be in until May. Then they decided they would just bring an entire new headboard out, which just seemed silly given I only needed the box on the back, but I agreed and scheduled for today...another two weeks from that call. I was given a 3 hour window, then a message saying they would be an hour later than the window, and then called at the end of the hour later to hear it would still be even longer, which at this point would not work do to evening engagements. At one point, I tried to call and a person answered on their customer service line and proceeded to laugh for several moments before hanging up on me. When I finally did talk with a supervisor, my only resolution was canceling today's headboard and per my strong request, simply have the part shipped to me and I would fix it myself. Of course, no timeframe offered for when the part would get here and at this point I really don't expect it to arrive at all. Bottom line...no matter how helpful the sales staff is and the initial deliveries are, if I can't trust that any issues that come up with my guaranteed merchandise will be taken care of promptly and appropriately, I simply will not do business with them and I would encourage everyone else to think of the long game when making these significant purchases as well. Bob's really didn't back anything up from the initial assurances and guarantees made to me and now I'm simply terrified if anything more significant goes wrong with anything I've purchased from them.

We were walking around during the Celina Lake Festival and we just happened to stumble upon this store. The store not only sells beautiful flowers, but also gifts, garden decor and home decor. While here, we purchased a beautiful sign for the entrance to the home, which welcomes all when coming in. I attached the picture of it. I think its wonderful. Plenty of great items to buy here, and I recommend anyone coming to the area or living to check it out!
