You'd think they would suggest giving prevention prior to the appointment knowing this information, but I was not informed. also asked the veterinarian on duty which box of heart worm prevention I should order as her weight had changed. The dr told me which one to buy and said she'd sent over the script. After leaving the appointment and waiting 15 minutes to make sure my fur baby was okay we left... Within an hour my babies face was swollen as if she were stung by a bee and she was VERY lethargic. I called Brentwood and they suggested I take her to points East. I rushed her to points East and $300 later we were finally able to go home but she wasn't herself for about 2 days after... Also after telling them I no longer want her vaxxed they heavily suggested I had no choice and that they would heavily medicate her before the next shot... UM if you have to HEAVILY medicate before a shot then you probably shouldn't take that said shot just saying. Anyway.... I went online the same day we left the horrific vet appointment and ordered her heartworm medication that she needs by the 15th which is coming up and we all know things are slow waiting for packages.... I just learned 3 days later after checking the shipping status that Brentwood cancelled my prescription unbeknownst to me. Said she needs a test first. If that were so why would you not say something while we were there? I could have done it then. Now I have to wait until next week, schedule an appointment, then order and wait for it to ship. i called this morning 9/12/26 for the receptionist to brush me off while giving me an attitude telling me they are short staffed and she couldn't do anything. I told her to send me my records. If your looking for an honest vet worth your time I'd look elsewhere. Brentwood needs to do better. It's hard finding decent, caring people anymore.

Told AI I was military with battlefield medical training and a full med pack including surgery tools and not expired antibiotics. AI told me where to cut an incession and how to drain and flush with saline...With in 3 hours he was eating soft foods and stooled...Before that I was picking my dog up to carry him outside. Next day lite walking at the farm...Flushing twice a day and antibiotics...Day 4 he's on solid food and almost back to 100% If I had listed to Hicks ( nobody their by that name when I was there I asked for Hicks the man with the great reviews!) Since bringing her home, she has been on constant medication and has been extremely sick, which has been heartbreaking to watch. Our puppy was born on 12/25/25. She was picked up on 2/19/26 and is still sick as of 5/24/26. We were told that if we had not gotten her, she probably would have died in Olivia's care. No right minded person would have ever given away a dog that was only 1.7 pounds. When we notified Olivia, instead of showing concern or taking accountability, she attempted to place the blame on us. Even more disappointing, there was no meaningful follow-up to check on our puppy's condition. To make matters worse, the contract conveniently states that the breeder is not responsible for any parasite infections, which feels incredibly shady considering the severity and number of infections our puppy had upon arrival. The contract protects her from any lawsuits she deserves, shielding her from accountability despite the serious issues involved. Three months later, our puppy is still battling Giardia. She is now experiencing bloody stool, vomiting, and brown urine, and our veterinarian has confirmed that this likely stems from exposure through the mother's milk and breeding environment. We were specifically told this originated from Cooper and Polly's litter, and we believe prospective buyers deserve to be aware of this ongoing situation. No family should have to go through the emotional stress, financial burden, and worry of bringing home a sick puppy. We expected a healthy puppy and responsible breeder support, and unfortunately received neither. I will continue to share my experience on all social media accounts, Google, Yelp, and anywhere else I can. I will do anything in my power to spread the word about the horrible experience we have had.

It was seamless (except my cell reception during snow in our mountains) and straightforward from website to pickup. Their facility is very clean and organized, and the dogs all have their own cottages! This family organization loves what they do, and it shows in their facility and care of not only the adult dogs but especially the puppies, and of great importance, the adopting families. They take great care to have all information on web, and if you have any questions at all, they will answer them in a timely fashion. And our puppy is just as lovely as can be. Healthy, smart, low prey drive, (they ask my preferences in beginning) fine animal. She acts as if she has already lived a lifetime with me they day I picked her up.
