If I could give zero stars, I would. Let me first start by saying service was great for about the first 2.5 months. Then, a service day was missed on 3/3/2017 because suddenly they had trouble finding my yard. Ok, I get it. Things happen, I'm reasonable, so I wait until the next day to contact them to be sure they weren't just running late.
I contact the 800 number on the website and I get someone in Minnesota. The lady told me someone would be calling me back from the Dallas area because the 800 number goes to their corporate office in MN. So later that day, I get a phone call from a Julia Stewart saying she did service the yard and there should be a flag there. There was no flag and my yard was still littered with days of dog poop. Julia then asked if I could email her better pictures of the yard so it would not be a problem in the future. I asked why this was suddenly an issue, and she said because there are different employees coming to scoop the poop on any given service day. Ok. No big deal. So I emailed her some pictures of my yard and mentioned in the email I expected to be compensated for the lack of service on 3/3/2017 since nobody came out until my next scheduled service day. Well guess what, she never responded to my email.
Moving forward to billing day 3/15/2017. Expect my surprise when I was charged the full amount even though I did not receive my service on 3/3/2017. So I again call the 800 number on the website and inquire about the bill. Again I was told someone would call me back. The next day, 3/16/2017, I receive a phone call from the same woman, Julia Stewart. Julia advised they do not give refunds and it was my fault they could not find the yard. She then proceeds to tell me there is no guarantee in the future it won't happen again. Wait, what? So not only are they not willing to compensate for their mistake...but they're telling me it's going to happen in the future and I'm expected to keep paying for services not rendered?
After I hung up the phone with Julia, I was frustrated red hot. I called the corporate office again and explained to them I needed to speak to someone in charge of Dallas area. The woman on the phone advised someone will be contacting me. Again, Julia calls me back and tells me she has spoke to the owner and the company will be doing nothing about the issue. Shortly after, I receive an email from Neil Stewart, the owner of the company confirming my conversation with Julia.
Look it's not about the $13 or whatever that one service should've cost, it's the principle of the matter. I expect a business to have some integrity. Needless to say, I have cancelled service, filed a chargeback with my bank for services not rendered, and will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
Just beware if you decide to use their services, these aren't the type of people I ever want to do business with again. read more
