The Fish section is kept very clean and I've rarely seen tanks of sick, dead or dying fish. I've actually seen better looking fish in this location than some of the fish specific stores in this city. That is a huge compliment! This evening I overheard two staff members discussing what they could do to improve a particular tank. I was pleasantly surprised to hear their genuine concern in what was a conversation not intended for public consumption. Visited today to see what plants they had in-store. I managed to find some hornwort, moneywort and cabomba plants in great condition which I decided to purchase. I was informed that they receive new fish and plants every Thursday. Good job on having a clean and obviously well managed pet store!

Walked in, the store is gigantic, but very quiet, as it was around 6:30-7:00pm at night. I was greeted by an employee, but no further assistance was pursued. I found my way to the cat toys and treats, and picked up some sale toys - I think it was buy one get one free. Made my way to the area where the cats were kept, and wanted all of them (of course). Made my way up to the front to pay for my items, the cashier asked if I was part of their pet membership club, I asked if it was free to join, and I would only receive email promotions, and my total came to over $50, for all the of the items I had purchased. Pet items are very expensive. Overall the experience was okay, nothing really stood out for me, they had a large variety of different foods, treats, etc, so if I needed something I could come here, but mind you it's a bit on the expensive side.
