Our miniature schnauzer that we rescued in February this year needs grooming…read more We took her to Woof and Wander early April and again yesterday (late June of 2025). Both times scheduling was a breeze via text messages to them. They were able to work her in within a week from the request. They have been professional and took great care of her and listened well to what we asked for. I learned since her previous grooming then my giving her a bath in between about a month ago using the dog shampoo in the house that Tasha has dry skin as I noticed some flaking of dead skin on her coat. I had a dog lotion on hand as well that I started massaging into her coat every few days to help alleviate any discomfort and itching she had. When I brought her in yesterday I conveyed the information to the staff. And asked for a hydrating shampoo for her dry skin. Not only did I pick her up looking adorable and fresh but I received a text from my groomer letting me know they found some blackheads and clogged pores on her body and suggested instead of applying the lotion going forward, to bathe her with a special shampoo in between grooming and they sent me the link to it. I truly appreciated that extra care and attention to my sweet baby girl and ordered it immediately from Amazon. I will continue going to Woof & Wander for our grooming needs and would definitely recommend them! They have very reasonable prices and take great care of my dog. Thank you!

The volunteer asked me to contact my vet's office and give the staff permission to give them information about our care of our dogs and our cat who had recently passed. The rescue is entirely foster-based so they don't have a physical location. I had been following a few local rescues on social media as we were interested in getting a second cat. Every day I'd show Nate another set of photos of cute kitties asking if he wanted to meet them! I eventually filled out their adoption application with the idea that we'd be ready if we found a cat we wanted to meet. Once I saw "Kiwi" a little tortie cat I knew I wanted to meet her, so once our application was approved and our vet references checked, we were connected with the foster who set up a time for us to come visit. She gave us all the info about Kiwi who we were approved to adopt, so we went and picked her up a few days later and now we can't imagine our home without her. Thanks, Pet Tales Rescue!

What dog owner doesn't bring their dog's regular food for boarding? Anyway, my dog has stayed multiple times and for extended periods at Countryside and she seems to love it. The first time I went there I was given a complete tour and saw the optional places where dogs can stay. The place is immaculately clean, the staff warm, friendly, and accommodating. My female was not yet spayed and they even dealt with diapers and that whole thing for me when she was in heat, letting her play with their own personal dogs who are kept separate from the general population. Other kennels wouldn't even take her in heat because of the distraction. I go out of my way to board my dog at Countryside.
