I was sent updates daily about the dogs along with a ton of pictures and videos. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing they were in caring, loving hands! Couldnt recommend this place more! Will definitely be sending them here if I need them cared for white in Saugerties again! Thank you, Denise!!!!!

I was weepy, because my toddler and puppy were being separated for the first time - Denise reassured us, and said text anytime! We got pictures and updates our whole trip, and when our pick up time had to be moved because we got stuck in traffic, it wasn't a big deal. The little boarding report card was adorable, and because our pup has nervous/excitement pees, Denise referred us to a trainer/dog psychologist that might be able to help. Our other dogs, boarded other places, have come home with cuts, ticks, smelling bad, or almost all the food we sent - this is the first time we haven't had anything to remedy once we got home. I appreciate Club Cozy Canine being a local gem!

Each time we arrive, she is ready to accept my senior fur baby Seamus and asks how I want him cut. She never assumes he is to be cut same as the time before. Seamus didn't start grooming until he was 12 or 13, he is now 14. His first b experience was awful at a place in another state. One would expect he would exhibit much trepidation at his next groomer. He always leaves his session not only beautifully groomed but in great spirits. Needless to say I highly recommend Dawn.

As a long term customer, I tolerated her obsession for control as a tradeoff for the good grooming job she did, but today, her unprofessional behavior crossed the line. There is never a reason to yell at a client. There are plenty of other groomers around, and it is a great relief to know that we won't need to deal with her anymore. Bottom line: Great with dogs; horrible with people. Perhaps that's why she's a dog groomer...

She was 16 years old and slowing down, but we took good care of all our pets. She was only supposed to have a check-up and a vaccination, and they wound up doing over $300 worth of blood work. I called and asked why, and they said Well, because she's getting older and we thought it would be a good idea. We had three other pets at the time, one of which had diabetes and took two shots of insulin a day. But when I told her that I was not happy with the extra $300 charge for no reason whatsoever, she started to lecture me about how we needed to take care of our pets and we needed to understand that if we had pets, we had to spend money on their health issues. Believe me, we spent a LOT of money in that office, and this young little snot had the nerve, without knowing anything about our pet history, to get on her high horse and try to humiliate me. My cat just had emergency surgery that cost over $4500. I am taking her back to this vet for her aftercare. We'll see how it goes. I really like Dr. Lang, and I always liked Dr. Jackson, though Dr. Rothstein was the absolute best. I am an easy-going guy and I don't normally leave reviews, but I should have turned around and left. My fault. I leave my dog with her for 4 hours, which is reasonable. When I pick her up, she looks good. Bichon mix, nice cut, clipped and dremelled the nails. BUT My fur-baby smells like cigarette smoke and cheap perfume, like someone trying to cover up the cigarette smell by spraying my dog with something that dogs hate. This upset me a great deal. When I went to pay, she charged $75 and rolled her eyes when I gave her $80 and asked for change. She gave me change, all coins. Stinky & rude

It's a gorgeous spot, with plenty of animals to see and engage with, and if you're not careful, you may get a pig who smears mud all over your butt. That's really part of the charm though, and mud washes off. The folks that own and work here are super nice in my experience (shout out to the director who had the exact same shoes as my four year old - in a different size). They make it a fun and educational experience for everyone, but especially little kids. As a general warning though, they make a harder push for veganism than you might expect coming in, so if that sort of pressure isn't your thing, you may want to avoid the walking tours.
