If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My pet sitter is Lisa, and Robin (the owner) is always…read moreon top of everything. Their system is extremely friendly, you can request your visits online and even within a couple of hours, they can respond and visit/walk your pets. I found them on Yelp about 2 years ago. We travel a lot for work, and at the time we had an elderly Great Dane, who needed special attention and being a deaf and partially blind dog, it just added up to how careful you need to be with him. I was impressed how Lisa was able to connect with him. I could tell that he loved her, because even towards his last days, where he could barely walk he would get really excited to see her. Something that gives me extreme confidence in them, is they send a text message after every visit with pictures of your pets. Some of my best pictures of my dog came from Lisa. But going back to the text, she never waited for a situation to escalate to let me know about it, she preferred to get ahead of the curve and let me guide her on how to proceed. Remember my dog was old and due to age had a lot of health issues at that point. Now we have two Great Danes one is10 months old and a recently rescued one of 7 months old, that she will be taking care for, even when the youngest one is very scarish, as he's a rescue, I know she will do a magnificent job taking care of my babies. Thank you Robin and Lisa!!!!!

Communication is wonderful - they send pics of the dogs and a little update about everyone each time they visit. It's such a relief to have someone let our dogs out in the middle of the day when we're at work.

Woo hoo!!! That what I think of when I think Good Dog Coaching…read more I somehow inherited a pit mix puppy a few months ago. At the ripe age of two months, everyone kept scaring me that pits have an aggressive temperament, and needed to be trained early. My dear Penguin was far from aggressive. Yes he is a rambunctious puppy, who loves EVERYONE, but def not aggressive. Due to potty training and basic manners, I did call out to many trainers. Unfortunately, there were one too many trainers out there that would not give Penguin a chance because he was a partial pit. One of the training places gave me the information to Good Dog Coaching and let us know that she works with dogs of all breeds, and they were correct. I called Terri, set up an interview, and our relationship flourished from there. She brought a whole bunch of energy and positive reinforcement for my lil pup. WOO HOO with every command he got right. Each training session wasn't a pre-outlined session, it was individualized on Penguin's weekly behavior. Correcting bad behavior and praising the good. Needless to say, our pup is 7.5 months old, potty trained, crate trained, can sit, down, walk on a leash, and stay in place. He is still a pup, so we are working on training him not to jump on people, but she gave us a great working foundation. She trained us (BF and I) how to appropriately communicate with our pup to ensure the greatest outcome. She taught us how to set him up for success. She comes with a great knowledge base when it comes to training, and just flat out loving your fur-baby. She provided nutritional advice. Natural flea/tick remedy advice, etc etc. Overall, Good Dog Coaching is the way to go!!! This company also provides other services which are worth checking out. I personally utilized the private dog boarding service. This is the same concept as bringing your child to grandma's house, so she can watch him/her for the weekend. You go for an initial interview to the home of the sitter. If all works out, you can board your fur-baby at their HOME. So this is a little more intimate then those indoor-outdoor camps. They are watched closely, treated like family, and well taken care of. Another good part about this is that there can only be so many fur-babies at once, so prevents overcrowding. A tad on the pricey side, but would def do it again. For any training, boarding, pet-sitting, private boarding, your own in-home boarding.... I mean they have it all, just check out their website and browse through the services. I'm pretty sure if you are a mama in need of some fur-baby help, there is something this company has to offer. Enjoy!!

This is my puppy's first bath and trim (he was about 5 months old). Him being a shih Tzu- I intend to keep his fur long as I do not like the "teddy bear short cut look". Scheduling: Appt scheduling was very simple. Staff was very nice. Appearance: Upon arriving, It can be a little confusing as the sign is not lit up. It's a little past the opening where the Home Store is so be aware to keep going! Inside, it smelled like a old dogs inn. Just like a dog. Didn't feel the clean spa- like feeling I thought I would get. Staff: The staff were not masked, but still nice. I just want to say Lindsay was sooo sweet! The sweetest. Explained things in good detail and really nice. Experience: I asked them to let me know if there were any issues as he is a very scary pup. She told me she would try to save some of his fur as there was a mention it was matted pretty bad. He was shaved balled. My mom picked him up as I was at another appt and she said they kept apologizing and saying "he's alright". He wound up having really bad diarrhea for a few days and when I took him to the vet, they mentioned it was bacteria. It could have came from anywhere but he's not around any other dogs, and thought it was funny he got it right after coming home. I'm thinking because the place was not as clean as I'd hope. They were also a little pricey. The rate was higher than my neighbors who has a Yorkie. In addition, with the extra vet bill, this grooming costs me over $140 so I will mostlikely be searching for a new one. Just as a note, He smelled really good and appeared to be okay but I will not likely take him back.
