His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

I traveled internationally for two weeks and needed a pet sitter to care for my cat. I decided on Hailee because the cost was reasonable. Throughout the duration of my vacation I was routinely told that my cat could not be found. It seemed like little to no effort was made to find or play with my cat, luckily my family was able to visit and play with my cat using minimal effort. She filled up food but did not fill up the water in the two weeks leading me to believe that she was unreliable, however she did show up everyday and was able to bring in packages. I will not be using her services again in the future, I do not feel that I can trust her with my pet.

When I needed to find a new care giver I was concerned since she had been at the humane society twice, so I wanted the best environment I could find for her. Williamsburg was one place recommended to me. When I visited, I felt very good about the facility and people. The facility was very clean, well organized and staffed. Everyone seemed genuinely interested in the animals under their care. My dog certainly seemed to enjoy her stays (and for a time she was there more than she was at home). She came to know the staff and was always happy to see them. The staff knew her and always treated her so nicely. She was always happy to arrive and just as happy when I came home. While I no longer travel as much, Williamsburg remains the place I trust to take care of my dog. She always seems happy to see the staff and I've been very happy with the service I have received.

The cut is uneven, particularly around her face, which appears choppy and not well blended. Her paws were also not cleaned up to the standard I expected. The areas of greatest concern are her armpit and belly, which were shaved extremely close. Her skin appeared irritated afterward, and there is a small area on her belly that looks consistent with a minor nick from the blade. I spoke with management to address these concerns and am currently requesting a refund based on the result and condition of the grooming. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service provided. If you have a long-haired or double-coated breed, I recommend clearly confirming grooming expectations in advance.

It was a Sunday night and I was leaving the early the following morning and the kennel would not take my dog. THANKFULLY Fox Creek was OPEN and could get him in! It was such a relief. The staff was kind and welcoming to us. Highly recommend them if you need animal care. BTW, in case this ever happens to you, 24-hour emergency animal hospitals don't provide vaccinations. So many lessons learned and prayers answered!

Waffles has a fracture in his lower spine - originally when we took him in, back hine legs were immobile. Today we came to see him. WOW! The treatments and work they did just in 1 over night stay, he was already in such better shape! The staff was SO KIND even at 10:30 at night, after dealing with patients all day and they still had compassion after such a long day. So so kind and we are so grateful for Dr. Nelson! We tried one other that seemed ok but you know when sometimes something just feels off? So I asked & our vet recommended Silver Maple instead...best thing ever. My first glimpse of how genuinely they care for our dogs was how nicely he goes in (tail is still down but he readily goes in after being greeted like Norm from Cheers). One time he got sick just before our Xmas vacation. He had only been on his meds for 2days before I had to drop him off but they have their system down to a science. It's simple but it's one they are clear on so there are no mistakes. Pam even called me to tell me she found throw up in his crate but wondered if giving him his meds with food would be less caustic & help him feel better...thoughtful & considerate problem solver & diplomatically explained! During that same boarding we were snowed in on the mountains in CO & couldn't get back on time. Not only did Pam accommodate but she also made sure he had enough of his meds. She genuinely loves animals & will go to bat for them. Communication & planning is key. If you'll be traveling over the holidays, book early. Always pack extra food & Rx in case it gets dropped or don't pack enough food. They took a Chewy delivery of food bc I stupidly didn't count out the correct numbers of cans. Cost-wise, we have found it to be very much worthwhile bc we absolutely know he's in good hands. To Pam, Mallory, Amanda, Lindsey & all the others I've not had the pleasure of meeting, you make Silver Maple a success & I thank you for taking such loving care of our Dexter.

When I pulled up to the farm you didn't hear any barking. When I walked in to the office there wasn't an aroma of urine or bleach. They took me back to the kennels and there were blankets and beds in them and the dogs were calm and again no smell. I was homing a senior dog that was an owner surrender and Pam jumped right in and found a wonderful home for him. Don't hesitate to board your furry family members here. They will be loved and cared for!
