Melissa was assigned as our trainer. Turns out she was perfect for our Dobermann. She was compassionate and positive with him which helped him bond quickly. And she was very patient with us Melissa trained us to adapt our behaviours and techniques to handle situations. Separation anxiety has reduced dramatically with confidence building techniques and now walks on a loose leash. I learnt this when I came back as a customer a couple of weeks ago with my wife and I for my first lesson with our pup. Totally unimpressed and disappointed. Their 10+ year old trainer ( whom stated --- 'I have been here for a long time' ), was asked a question by a new client and she says, 'I don't know. Ask the other trainer, she knows everything'. A new client was struggling with his dog's and not once did the trainer help them. The owners desire is to churn people over. Their pricing expensive. Their instructors sub-standard. Don't be lured by their sweet promises of obedience. Find a local club, find some dedicated volunteers. Do NOT GO to Four Paws.

I searched high and low for dog schools that I felt comfortable taking Tex to, and luckily stumbled across Four Paws K9 Training. After attending the Welcome Session at Keilor View Primary School, I instantly felt comfortable with the idea of handing over my money and learning from the professionals. I went into my first session thinking that Tex was going to be considered a 'highly reactive dog' but my concerns were put to rest when they showed me the ropes of how to handle such a stubborn and dominant dog. Don't get me wrong, I've had dogs my whole life, but rescue dogs are a whole different thing compared to a dog that you've had from a puppy. With the help of the wonderful owners, trainers and student trainers at Four Paws, Tex is now a *mostly* well-behaved dog who finds the fun in training and working with the both of us, provided he gets a tasty treat and a cuddle at the end of it all. Without the help of Four Paws, I'm about 99% sure that my house would be shredded and the dog would own the bed while we slept on the floor... thanks Four Paws :) :) :)

So this place just opened last week and it's wonderful!…read more Rang and spoke to Dave and booked out dog in for daycare. Our dog was wrecked at the end of the day. The place is not too large and is all beautifully decked out with new everything- fencing/paint/toys/beds etc. Have now been twice for daycare and had a 30minute training session. Greatly satisfied with Dave and the services he provides and our seems to live him too. Dave is softly spoken and gentle, key traits to a great animal lover and handler. Check out Dave's new business. I certainly think you will be a satisfied customer like us.

They have a range of dog chocolate, dog ice cream and cute toys. Don't forget swarovski crystal leashes. What?! The owner is really nice and happy to talk to you about your dog and what you need. You can also bring your dog in store to try on the outfits. They also have a photo shoot booth to take some glam shots of your pooch. They do night classes as well. The clothes aren't cheap but if you love your dog it's worth it :-) I don't live locally but wish I did.

Cat always focuses on any animal that needs a little extra help. And any owners that need some extra help aswell lol Our dog is improving sooo much each week.
