When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk woman (didn't get her name) immediately seemed irritated. I let her know I was there, and the only response I got was, "Time?" I then noticed a sign stating they only accept cash or Zelle. Since my Zelle isn't working at the moment, I asked to confirm if they accepted Apple Pay or tap pay, as I had been told earlier. She looked at the sign and responded, "No, only cash or Zelle," in a very rude tone. I tried to explain that I had previously been told otherwise, but she cut me off mid-sentence and said, "NO WE DON'T, ONLY ZELLE OR CASH." I understand that payment limitations aren't necessarily their fault, but my issue is mainly with the attitude I experienced. When I asked if I could reschedule instead, she sighed, opened the book, and said, "Day and time?" She seemed annoyed and clearly didn't even want to serve or talk to me by her demeanor. At that point, I decided not to move forward and told her I didn't appreciate her attitude. As I was walking out, I could hear her slam something down in frustration. I've been here before when they were located near the trail and had a better experience, but unfortunately, this visit was disappointing due to the lack of customer service. Never coming back here again.

I was playing ball in the backyard with my fur baby and didn't notice that a vase had knocked over, which lacerated his carpal pad to the point that it was almost detached completely. He was profusely bleeding and it was after hours so we searched for the closest emergency vet. I am BEYOND glad that I chose Urgent Paws. From the moment we carried him in, everybody was so incredibly attentive and kind. They let us stand beside him during check in and each one of their staff members exuded such a calm, kind presence. They explained everything to us clearly and from such an empathetic stand point. Most importantly, they worked with us to find a med plan that would work within our budget. Dr. Brown is amazing and did a phenomenal job. Our pup needed stitches and everything was very reasonably priced. When it came time to discharge, they walked us into a room and even brought a blanket for Gryffin to lay on.. it's the little things that matter and I can attest with my whole heart that they REALLY love/care for animals here. I think the cutest thing is that they spoke to him directly, just like how I would! The interaction was so heartwarming and truly adorable. I was so touched by all the staff and Dr. Brown. Your baby is in good hands here!

We came on a Friday and had to do a blood panel for our cat but the clinic was closed the next day. However, Dr. Z still went out of his way to call me, on his day off (Saturday), to let me know what the results to the tests were. He could've easily told me on Monday, but wanted to quell my worries and you genuinely don't find people like that anymore. I can attest with my whole heart that this clinic genuinely loves your pets like their own. The front desk receptionist made us feel so welcomed and really understood what we were going through. The vet tech was so incredibly kind and even trimmed our cat's nails without charging us when he had to be sedated to get his blood drawn. She was so, so sweet and even after we decided our next course of action, popped back in to say, "Aren't you happy he could get the surgery?!" I could tell that she really cared about the wellbeing of my cat and how I felt in that moment. Originally, we were afraid that we'd have to put him down due to a massive growth on his toe that we were afraid was cancer. Thankfully, Dr. Z and his team did not give up on our baby! I just can't put into words how grateful we are. Every single person was so incredibly kind and understanding. This vet clinic is a gem, truly.

Once I was finished, I went to pay with my credit card and then at that time was told that they were now charging a credit card service fee for their new credit card machine. They should've disclosed this material fact prior to service not when I'm going to pay. Not many people have cash in their pocket anymore and now they want to charge another junk fee on top of their high prices. How unfortunate even though it's convenient to go there, I'm going to find another vet.

Alex was really nice, kind, understanding, and patient with humans, too. Now, my pup is just over four years and he looks forward to seeing Alex. If anyone mentions her name, then my pup will run to the front door. So far my pup doesn't know how to spell Alex's name, so we usually spell her name now. We passed the Canine Good Citizen test about two years ago. Great joy! Basic training like CGC has helped a lot with other goals, including surfing, walking in crowds, and remaining calm near bicycles and skate boarders. As I set new goals for us, I always think back to the basics and build. For over two years we have seen Alex each week - dog walking, and recently we added doggy daycare on a different day. My pup sees Alex twice a week and he's always quite tired afterwards. She is very responsible. We also asked her to stay at our house in the summer and we've boarded our pup at her home during the winter / spring.

I am updating in response to the owner's response…read more.. First and foremost, my name is not Nicole, my name is Shaunna. The fact that the owner thinks that I am someone else indicates to me that I am not the only unsatisfied customer they've had and they know it. As far as the truth of my first review, I can happily provide pictures of the manure around the grounds, as I filed a complaint with the city and with animal control and still have the paperwork (including the photos) from that. In addition, I am pretty sure that I can dig up the credit card statements that indicate I purchased hay during the time I was boarded at Irish Rose, although that is a bit extreme I think. Nonetheless, if anyone require any of this, please feel free to contact me and I will happily send what I have their way. The owner's response indicated that turn out was $6. That part is true, when you ask to have your horse turned out in the arena for 30 minutes. If you want your horse turned out in the large green pasture, it is $50 extra and I *DO* have the paperwork to prove that. As far as the owner's claims that they have never had a complaint, that is completely untrue. I made my feelings very clear, and in written form, when I left. I also have complained about the facility to appropriate organizations. In fact, I believe that Animal Control received a complaint about the improper care of an older horse and came out to the facility to put the animal down. I was not the one who complained about it or filed a report, however I cannot say that I am surprised in the slightest. The point of my review is not to be mean, I just want to make sure that no one else has to ever experience what I did. It is a horrible facility and I am pretty sure they're survived this long simply because of the business from Santa Anita. By the way, my horse's name is Scarlett, not Arnie.

We recently visited Wonder Dog Ranch with hopes of finding a safe and fun place for our dog to…read moresocialize and play. However, a few red flags made us uncomfortable with leaving our pet there. First, when we arrived, we weren't allowed inside--not even into the front office. Instead, we had to fill out all the paperwork outside. When we asked to see the play area where the dogs would be spending their time, we were also denied access. This raised concerns about transparency. Inside the office, we noticed a TV monitor and asked if it was used for pet parents to check in on their dogs during pet play time , Kevin told us no. This meant that once we left our dog, we had no way of knowing how they were being treated or interacting with other dogs. When we asked for a visual reference of the play area, he only had a few photos, which showed a couch and some toys--not the engaging and structured environment we were expecting. We did leave our dog for the initial evaluation. Before I left I asked him if he can take a video for me for todays at least, so that I can see how my puppy interacts with his stay , he then assured me he would be able to do that. My husband and I left to grab a bite, and returned in 45 min. When we returned I asked to see the video, and he said he did not take a video of my puppy interacting. After we left we discussed it and didn't feel comfortable with the lack of access and transparency. We ultimately decided not to bring our dog back. While we can't say anything negative about how the dogs are actually treated, the fact that pet owners aren't allowed to see where their pets will be playing or how they are interacting raises concerns. For us, peace of mind and trust are essential when leaving our pet in someone else's care, and unfortunately, we didn't get that here. Kevin appeared to be a nice gentleman, and maybe a bit old school, but this wasn't for us.
