I took my brother's bulldog here and the people here are so nice and did a great job with Hudson. They're very understanding and considerate about their clients' furry friends. The price is excellent because the previous places I've gone to charge more. Whenever groomers meet Hudson, I always get the same response... "He's a nice dog." Hudson looked like a handsome chap after his session, while sporting a complimentary bandana around his neck. Hehe. Ying and Luis are wonderful folks and groomers. They really care about our four legged friends. My Mia adores them. She normally will run away from other groomers in the past five years. When I drop her of, she will runs into their arms and offers lots of kisses. My son has drop off her chocolate lab Daisy, she loves them as well. She has even stayed over at their home while he was away for business because we will on vacation ourselves. My dog was really scared and newly rescued. He's not so good around other dogs so I was a bit worried, naturally I stayed to make sure that he was going to be ok and the man that was doing the grooming was so nice to him the whole time. Talking to him and being gentle and sweet. Pedro, my dog, is 85 pounds and he was lifting him up as if he was only 10 pounds, I was impressed. It only took about 40 min and it was $35 + tip. They no longer have the location on Coldwater but they are MOBILE. I have been taking my baby to them religiously for years! Luis knows and loves my Thumper and I've referred them to family and friends to have their fur babies groomed by him too. I can't even begin to explain how many groomers cut and burnt my baby and I had trust issues after that. Pet Land was the ONLY one who treated my baby right and have never left a scratch. Instead they leave him smelling amazing and always add cute little details like bows and/or ties. 4 days ago my dog was diagnosed with Diabetes and Luis knew right away something was wrong. He told me he saw him very weak and was very careful with him. Luis has been reaching out regularly to check on him since. They genuinely care and treat our babies with love and respect. I am one to go on Yelp to read reviews before trying anything out so if you're reading this, rest assured your pet will be in great hands and take it from a "helicopter dog mom" I am absolutely grateful that I can trust them with my baby! read more

We brought our Noah here twice before for a nail trim and he's always a little nervous to have his paws touch. Luis was amazing with Noah ! He gave Noah lots of kisses and talked to him the whole time and kept him calm ! We brought him in today for a full grooming and as soon as we walked in Luis remembered Noah ! You can tell how much he loves what he does and how much he cares for the dogs that come in there. We will be picking up Noah in about an hour and can't wait to see him nice and squeaky clean. 100% recommend this place ! Update** Just picked up Noah ! RUDE RUDE RUDE BUSINESS OWNER. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! I use to take my dog here regularly, I mean from the very opening of the spot because I was unhappy with Petco (how long they leave the dog in the cage when they have an appointment and how much they knicked her often) so I came here. The actual groomer Luis is fantastic. However, the owner is rude, she has horrible customer service and she doesn't listen to the customer. Twice my dog got ear infections here, she's been going to the groomer since she was 5months old and I started bringing her here at 3 years old and never before had this happened. Of course she blamed it on us but we don't bathe the dog so I was confused. The last incident that happened that caused me to write this review is because one day after regular grooming, the groomer asked us if she was pregnant. Well this alarmed us because our dog is a house dog meaning she is not around other dogs AT ALL unless she's at the groomer so we told them that. We also told them that the dog is not spaded and the guy said he asked because other owners have asked about our dog which concerned us more. So the next day we called and asked if we could come in and talk with them on the way to the vet appt and the owner starts screaming at us to get a lawyer blah blah. Turns out my dog was going through a false pregnancy, she's a shitzu and they do this sometimes when not spaded. Went back to tell them and the lady refused to groom our dog, even pointed out that she put a sign there to say they can refuse to serve and she was not nice about it. So two times this lady was rude when we never intended to take the dog back because of how we were treated and we were there loyally every two weeks with a tip! She doesn't deserve my business or another dime of my hard earned money and my dog doesn't need anymore ear infections either. Good riddens! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. BEWARE. Incidentally as I wS walking out the door, the groomer handed me a slip of paper with info to Dog Lovers in van Nuys, said it was his friend, said to tell him Lola is figity and to do a 7 on her body and a 10 on her face and she will be good. I took her there and was very happy. I'm doing a review for them as soon as I get time. read more

Brought in my gf's puppy yesterday & Luciano really had amazing patience with him, as it was his first time being groomed and the sound from the buzzers frightened him. The process took a lil bit more than I expected - but most likely bc my dog was being a bit difficult & he took his time on detail. Halfway in, the puppy was comfortable, wagging his tail, enjoying the experience. He came out so handsome! Went to buy some dog food with him & he was getting compliments left and right! Pet Land also has wifi in case you want to wait and use ur phone/ tablets. I love this place! I've taken my golden twice already and they do such a good job with her. The man that typically works there (I'm assuming the owner), is so kind and always so welcoming. The prices are definitely reasonable, especially for my 90 pound retriever. Owned by a wife/husband couple who are AMAZING!!! I have taken my 85lb boxer for his mani/pedi and I can honestly say, the husband is great. He lets my gentle giant kiss him and get comfortable. Depending on the nail, he trims a few but mostly files his nails down. I make the drive from Covina to North Hollywood because it is worth it! I have had my boxer's nails clipped at vet offices and they have nipped him. I have been to Pet Land about 5 times now and I get to see how lovingly they treat my boxer. He has never been nipped. My aunt also gets her 2 cocker spaniels fully groomed at Pet Land and her 125 pointer mix mani/pedi at Pet Land. In fact, she is the one that recommended Pet Land to me. Pet Land takes great care of their clientele! I've brought my pup here twice and will continue to bring her here. These folks know what they're doing. My pup is not so great - really jumpy, very nervous, really tough for anyone to get near her. I'm hesitant to bring her places, but the husband (the main groomer, it seems) here is so welcoming and friendly. I even told him I could stay to keep my pup company, even that it would be okay if he turned us away. Lucky for me, he just said he'd call as soon as she was ready. She came home well-groomed without any irritation anywhere! I was dumbfounded as to how he managed it as I figured she would just fidget around while he was trying to groom her. We would bring our dogs here for a a small amount of time until a couple of months ago when we were asked not to bring them back anymore.. The reason is that they couldn't handle the feedback we would give them face to face and it's not like we wanted to but the way they would cut up my dog almost everytime was inexcusable. They claimed my dog was very hard to shave and trim but you would think a dog groomer would know how to handle any situation regarding grooming. So they asked us to never bring our dogs again. On top of that they would also forget to do minor things almost every time like clean the ears, shave my dog the way we asked for and once they only cut the nails off of two paws only so it was a hassle having to go back all the time. They are conveniently close to where we live and that's the only reason we would take our dogs here. On top of all this they're using my dogs picture to promote their business on yelp. Our current groomer has no problem with my dogs so I guess it comes down to how skillful and patient you are at your job. read more
