We were planning on crossing through six different countries this summer and he went out of his way to help us and made sure that we had the right paperwork and vaccines for our girls. Easy to get appointments. Doctors and staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The prices are reasonable.

I do not recommend going here if you have other options. We decided to foster a rescue dog and took him to our regular vet. They found quite a few issues including a heart murmur. The rescue said that they had never heard of our vet clinic and thought it was a money grab. They said to bring him to Pet Doctor and tell them we were fostering through The Farm Rescue. We did but it didn't affect the cost and they said the dog was fine. The only issue they found was constipation, and they insisted he did not have a heart murmur. She chuckled at the suggestions and said it was "breath sounds" the other doctor had heard. You can probably guess how this story ends. He started having issues and of course he has a heart murmur. In fact he has degenerative valve disease. Insurance won't cover it bc it's a pre-existing condition that should have been diagnosed earlier. So we got attached to him and now we have extremely expensive therapies and testing in his future, which we cannot afford. I can't say we would not have kept him if they diagnosed him properly and didn't laugh at the findings from the first vet. But we could have at least gotten some help from the rescue and probably saved him a lot of pain/discomfort by getting intervention earlier. read more

New appointment, new vet. Saw Dr Harrington. She is very young and I didn't get the impression she was very experienced. I was not impressed with her service. My dog had a very bad ear infection and she didn't seem to know what to do. This business seems to employ very young and inexperienced vets as a way to keep costs down. Probably ok if nothing is very serious with your pet. Initial visit was $50 plus another $171 in medications etc. I sure hope it was necessary!! Next step is to go to a specialist. I am a bit surprised I don't have a previous 5-star review for this vet, but it would be irrelevant now. I took my 15+-year-old mutt in to talk about some incontinence and her hips bothering her. She has been a regular patient of this vet since we found them. Cost isn't an issue for us, we want her to be comfortable. Injections, I've heard, can help with pain. Dr. Nelson had zero interest in talking about her hip pain. His exact words were, "She's ancient." I told him 2-3x she wasn't incontinent at any other time than while she is sleeping. He proceeded to ask again as though I had never said anything. They did a quick urinalysis, said she was fine, and sent us on our way with a script to help her with it. Not without following me out front to let me know, "Since it's an ongoing issue I normally prescribe and sell the whole bottle of 180, but with her age..." Yes, thank you. I didn't drive 30 minutes across town to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time for a an appointment that took 3 weeks to get into to be told numerous times my dog is old. If she weren't well taken care of, she would not be 15 years old nor would she be at the vet to make sure she was comfortable. We have 5 pets and exactly zero of them will be back to be seen here. Based on recent reviews, they won't be around much longer to worry about it. Also, he never touched her. Didn't pet her, never addressed her. I've never had a vet completely ignore the animal before. The only downside is that they're closed Saturday and Sunday, which seems to be when we have an emergency happen. He gave me 30 minutes of his precious time to answer a TON of questions I had about my 1/2 Jack Russel/ 1/2 pitbull mix, nearly 13 yr old sweetest, smartest pup ever. (Ok I'm biased!) When I paid the bill, I thought there had to be a mistake! Exam, antibiotics, nail trim and anal gland expression all for $105!! My last vet clinic on Arizona Ave (whom I went to for 20+ years with 3 of now some beloved pups) would charge me more than $50 just for her nail trim and anal glands and that was with a discount! Please take your dog to a VET that actually cares for your pet. The vet sent our dog home with IV treatment for parvo, knowing how severe his labs were. I didn't know how bad they were in till I had our other vet review them. Marley was really sick, and needed to be hospitalized. I trusted the vet to advocate for Marley's health thinking we were making the right decision for marley. The vet should have been honest with us, knowing how bad his labs were. Scheduled an office visit last minute for my golden retriever. He had a lump on his stomach that I was concerned about. Staff was very friendly and after filling out my paperwork didn't have to wait very long. Only a $35 office visit which is half of what I have been paying. Don't recall the doctor's name but was super friendly and was down on the ground inspecting my dog. We needed to get our dog in for an urgent care visit because of a toenail that had been split half way back. Called Monday morning and was able to be seen by Dr. Nelson later that afternoon. Considering we were an emergency appointment we didn't have to wait too long to be taken back to see the vet. They took Kylie into the back room and cut the nail off at the break and bandaged her nicely. They gave her foot a shot of Lidocaine so she would be comfortable. The fee was very reasonable. I had a great experience with my doctor, Dr Sherif Louis, who was very caring and was kind to both my dogs. I brought two of my large dogs there on two separate occasions. My 4 YO female is shy and he took his time with her to help her feel comfortable, he sat with her until she was interested in being pet by him and then he looked her over. My 80 pound, 2 YO Labrador Retriever is gregarious, an attention hog and large and Dr. Louis was very kind and patient with him. My dog loved him. The techs were very attentive and explained everything in terms of my bill. My dog had labs done and Dr. Louis called me and let me know what the next steps were for his treatment. I would never recommend this facility to anyone for multiple reasons. I brought my healthly puppy to get her shots. Within a few days had to go back to the vet for testing and they informed me she had worms. Paid for visit, testing, and prescription to treat that issue. Two weeks later returned to vet for more tests and again told she now had a different type of worm. Paid for visit, tests, and prescriptions and treated her again. Then three weeks later went back since our dog was not feeling well. She was now coughing, had no appetite and she was very lethargic. The Vet took blood work and said it was an infection and put her on antibiotics. Five days later, the antibiotics were not improving my dog's health. I called to ask for a immediate follow-up but was told that there were no openings available for two days. I had to take my dog to a different Emergency Vet Hospital where they diagnosed my dog with Valley Fever. So during this time, my dog was taking antibiotics instead of antifungal medication which did not improve her health. I called office to complain on their lack of attention and misdiagnosed and was told they normally don't check puppies for Valley Fever so that is why they didn't test for it. Second reason, the facility is flithy. The Emergency Vet Hospital was spotless so don't use the excuse that animals visit daily. They need to clean their floors, counters and windows, it's just stinks. It's possible that my dog picked up all her "issues" right in that office. I am never going back and would never recommend them. read more

They worked with me to make sure he could get his surgery asap. Everyone single person there was kind, friendly, they were all so loving to my dog. I started going to this Vet because they had the option which was very budget friendly that you didn't have to have an exam if you only need vaccinations for your pets. I booked an appointment for my dog and cat as they needed to be up dated on a couple vaccinations and I told the front desk staff who called that's all we needed and no exam was needed. After being brought back in the room got normal vitals the vet came in we got shots and then the tach came back in to tell me I owed over $200. When I asked why I just came for shots I was told they had an exam as well. Well what the front desk FAILED to mention is they no longer have that option as of a couple months ago and surprised I'm being charged for an exam that was never needed. Pet doctors spayed my 7 year old EXTREAMLY Healthy female German Shepherd. Her throat or Larynx were damaged during the surgery. We took her 2-3 times for rechecks, to have them look at her throat, they found 'nothing'. Still we had to feed her water and protein drinks as she could not swallow food. On her last visit to Pet Doctors she was so sick she DIED while they were examining her. They said they were sorry, but offered zero explanation, zero compensation. Trying to get our dogs records sent to a vet for specialized treatment has been an absolute nightmare! We were told to just let the desk staff know where to send the records.
