    Athenas first swim !

I just took my dog swimming at Pet Depot. The employee helped us put the life jacket on . He was amazing guiding her around the pool while on lead. My girl is high anxiety and it was her first time . The guys that work here are amazing. Pet Depot also carries Zignatures brand food for my girl. My girl has food allergies and only eats Salmon and Whitefish. They also carry the salmon training treats we use . I highly recommend !

L-O-V-E. I've got 3 big dogs, and sometimes it's really difficult to wear them out. Enter Pet Depot. My pups love the pool here. Even the one who doesn't like to swim much, loves to do laps around the pool. 15min doesn't sound like much, but if your do it right, your dog will be TOAST when you're done. Add on a dog wash and I guarantee you'll be taking home a fresh & clean, sleeping dog. The staff is young and can be a little distracted (they're teenagers, not customer service professionals) but if you talk to them, they will help you out with whatever you need. I should also mention, all 3 of my dogs have orthopedic issues. 1 previously shattered leg that has left deficits, 1 with hip dysplagia, and 1 with Panosteitis. Swimming does wonders for their range of movement and their comfort. If you have a dog suffering from aches and pains, water therapy might be just what the doctor ordered!

Perfect place for your pet needs! Even if he's a horse in Lab clothing! He loves getting his baths here! Thanks for your idea and store!

We love Best Friends Fur Ever because of it being easy to make an appointment. Once you have gone through the initial enrolling process and gotten into their system, you fill in a request for service online and they contact you within 24 hours (usually it is closer to 12 hours). During stays, Best Friends Fur Ever have great communication. Sometimes they will upload pictures. They will reach out with any issues they have and respond quickly if you have any questions. The employees here clearly love dogs. No matter who the employee is, when we go to drop our dog off they get really excited to see our dog. He, in turn, gets excited to see them. We love that Best Friends Fur Ever will take care of grooming needs while we are away. If possible, they will trim nails, bathe them and express their anal glands. Finally, the biggest reason we choose Best Friends Fur Ever, is our dog always seems well taken care of when we return to get him. If he is happy, we are happy.

This place was just where he needed to be! I love how the staff are so attentive and welcoming during his play time. I felt safe because I was able to watch him from the camera. Beau (my dog) is usually exhausted after his visit. When booking, the client portal is very easy and efficient. The staff is very responsive and are very welcoming. You can feel the love from the staff and how they care for the clients and each other. I truly recommend boarding your dog at the Cockeysville location.

I was given a business card for East Coast Academy of Dog Training. The best recommendation ever. Initially, Paige was unmanageable on a leash. Her fear and anxiety caused her to be hyper reactive to wildlife, sounds, sudden movements. She would not respond to commands and she pulled me wherever she wanted to go. The first time Rob walked into my house, the whole energy changed. Rob has the most wonderful voice. He is soft-spoken. He never raises his voice. He has endless patience. Paige loved him from the first moment. For the first several visits, we worked inside on basic behaviors - come, sit, wait, etc. Paige caught on pretty quickly. So did I! It was as much about me learning as it was Paige. Rob always leaves detailed notes covering the lessons of the day. And consistent practice between visits is paramount. Then we began working on leash training for walks. Rob has given me valuable tools to make walks a positive experience for both Paige and I. We are still a work in progress and, weather permitting, I make a point of walking every day. Paige is so much happier and so much calmer. After 5 visits, I kept telling Rob that I needed more training. In his wonderful, calm way, he said that I didn't need more. That I had the tools to be successful and that he was only a phone call away if I needed to talk through anything. Rob never pushes additional visits if he feels you are ready to fly on your own. He has decades of experience. Go check out his website for additional detail. I appreciate Rob so much. He has made both Paige and I so much more confident. I cannot recommend Rob Hirsch and East Coast Academy of Dog Training enough!!!!

Unfortunately, my experience when something went wrong changed my confidence in continuing to trust them with his care. Max went in for his a grooming appointment with no irritation or injury to his belly. I requested a shorter summer cut and trusted the professionals caring for him to determine how to safely execute that request. He was not himself the following day, and by Friday I discovered significant irritation in the area that had been closely groomed. It continued to worsen and ultimately required an emergency veterinary visit, antibiotics, pain medication, a cone, and several days of wound care. When I contacted the business, their response focused on the fact that they had not observed an injury during his appointment and that I did not identify the irritation until after the grooming. They declined any responsibility or reimbursement. I wasn't looking for an admission of wrongdoing or expecting them to cover a large veterinary bill. Maybe a refund of the grooming fee, a discount, or another meaningful gesture would have shown me that they took what happened to Max seriously. What concerned me most was the lack of accountability once there was a problem. I sent a final message explaining why their response had damaged my trust and asking them to cancel Max's future appointment, and I received no response at all. My dog is family to me. I willingly pay for quality professional care because his safety and well-being matter enormously to me. I need to know that the people I entrust him to will not only treat him well when everything goes right, but will respond with care and accountability if something goes wrong. Unfortunately, after this experience, I no longer have that confidence and will be taking Max elsewhere.
