Once you have gone through the initial enrolling process and gotten into their system, you fill in a request for service online and they contact you within 24 hours (usually it is closer to 12 hours). During stays, Best Friends Fur Ever have great communication. Sometimes they will upload pictures. They will reach out with any issues they have and respond quickly if you have any questions. The employees here clearly love dogs. No matter who the employee is, when we go to drop our dog off they get really excited to see our dog. He, in turn, gets excited to see them. We love that Best Friends Fur Ever will take care of grooming needs while we are away. If possible, they will trim nails, bathe them and express their anal glands. Finally, the biggest reason we choose Best Friends Fur Ever, is our dog always seems well taken care of when we return to get him. If he is happy, we are happy.

So proud of him! We've attended group classes and did drop off CEO training since Noah was about 5 months. Noah has learned basic manners and over 20 tricks here. I learned how to properly handle, correct, protect, and play with my dog. If it wasn't for his caring trainers I would've lost my mind dealing with the Puppy Blues months ago ‍. It's very clear how much the staff knows, and how deeply they care about every single dog that walks through their doors. Over the past few months, this is the fourth daycare we've tried for our dog. The first one we chose to leave. The next two either wouldn't accept her or ultimately asked her not to return. Our dog is an over 80-lb American Bully, and she truly doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. We started daycare and boarding when she was about 8 months old. At nearly 50 lbs already, she was placed with the large dogs. In this large group play, the challenge wasn't aggression; it was that she was young, playful, and didn't always understand when another dog didn't want to engage. Two facilities told us they couldn't keep her in group play because other dogs would become reactive when she missed social cues and it wasn't safe for them or the dogs. After the second rejection, we reached out to friends and were highly encouraged to try Pet-U-Cation. We were told upfront that the training and care are exceptional, but as a small business with limited overhead and office staff, communication can sometimes require patience (which has also been our experience). Her evaluation went great. After two day-training sessions, she became a regular at daycare, and she absolutely loves it! The growth we've seen in her socialization and ability to read other dogs has been incredible. It's also reinforced the training we're doing at home and helping her overall learning and development (consistency really is key). We love that there is no more coming home from daycare with newly acquired bad habits.

They kindly do it at the end of his stay so he comes home fresh. This past week, because our dog can display problematic behaviors, the yard attendant who was with Bruno most of the day came out to talk with me. She was an older lady, so very kind and described his behaviors, and gave him breaks when he was unable to be recorrected, instead of calling us and making me worry. I appreciate their problem solving and patience with our dog.

Each time, except the first one, the same trainer would stay for maybe 15-20 minutes (def no more) and leave. He had me barking at my dog, throwing water balloons at my dog, and throwing a mini "bean bag" not at, but towards my dog; none of which were useful. My fiance and I told him on 3 separate occasions face-to-face that him coming for 15-20 minutes was not enough and we needed him to spend more time with our dog, and he did not do that so we just stopped communicating with him. He/Bark busters also never reached back out because they got their money. Wouldn't recommend unfortunately.

UPDATE 5/29/2021 I felt the need to update my review. Dr. Y…read morepotentially saved my dogs life. During my dogs yearly bloodwork, some of his levels came back outside of the recommended ranges. Dr. Y suggested doing an ultrasound on his spleen to make sure nothing more serious was occurring. Well, he found a mass on his spleen that was potentially bleeding. I was able to get my dog in for emergency surgery the next day and was able to have his spleen removed BEFORE it ruptured. Dr. Y's thoroughness saved my dog from a potential horrendous emergency situation. I've said below, but he truly cares about the animals. The staff at Padonia is extremely incredible and they always give so much love to my boy. ******************* I moved into the area about 6 months ago and was lucky to find Dr. Youssef at Padonia Veterinary Hospital. He's helped me NUMEROUS times. I rescued a kitten who was misdiagnosed at Banfield Hospital and almost passed away (his weight went from 2.2lbs down to 1.2lbs). Dr. Youssef put him on medication and provided guidance that helped me save this little dude. He's now a healthy, happy, 5mo kitten. If it wasn't for Dr. Youssef, I'm sure he wouldn't have made it. In addition, my 150lb dog has been to Padonia multiple times from limping, to thyroid medication refills, to an ulcer on his eye. Padonia is always there for me. They've fit me in last minute on multiple occasions, they've been available to answer my thousand questions, and they've stuck around late to make sure I had medication. I can't speak highly enough about Padonia. I left an incredible vet and was worried I'd never find the same thing again. I was wrong. Padonia has been beyond incredible. The assistants that work here are incredible, they'll love your animals as much as you do and they'll remember you by name. Their prices are some of the fairest that I've seen. Padonia is also the type of vet that will not ask you to do unnecessary procedures or give your animals unnecessary vaccines/medicine. I'd also like to mention that Padonia has some of the fairest prices that I've seen. I highly recommend Padonia Veterinary Hospital to those of us that love our animals more than we can even explain.
