I took my 1 year old toy poodle there for grooming services and was told that 2 hours was needed which turned into 4 hours. When I went to get my dog, I was very unhappy with the uneven cut. I had requested that only a little be taken off the afro and it had all been cut off. When I tried talking with the owner, Brenda, she became upset and stated she was sick and should not have come to work. She stated "Can you just pay me my money" and walked to the back to the bathroom. She left me with a young girl helper to take the payment. Also, the owner stated she left her receipt book home and would write on a business card. I will not be doing business with this place again. I have attached the before and after photo.

Upon arriving the groomer approached and appeared annoyed she was assigned to take care of this terminally ill companion of mine. It did not take Claudia long to decide to tell me in just a few words she will not do it, I ask if she was refusing to honor the appointment and service and she clearly stated yes I am denying your service animal service . I was then informed as I stood outside perhaps arrangements would be made. They locked the door and left us there. After waiting for a time I was dismissed by an other employee and given this number to call 352-678-8684 to speak with the owner who never answered. The service animal was given to me after nearly being beaten to death by inmates as a constant companion to help with the stress of that which made him extremely close to me. I just wanted a dignified and happy experience for this animal that has become as close to me because of the time we spent together and the aid and support he has given me during his life at the end of his. This has been a traumatic, hurtful and embarrassing experience since it was in public that no one should experience.

Daphne & Steve keep this facility so clean and our pups always seem to be happy when dropped off for a visit while we are away. Our youngster right now, Violet, is a bit of a handful but Palmetto is a place I am not concerned about her running off or getting into trouble. They comforted her the whole time and were incredibly professional. I had been to three different veterinarians and two hospitalizations in one week, but she continued to worsen. Dr. Reese knew exactly what to look for and diagnosed her with IVDD, which had been missed during all her other appointments. She has saved my dogs life because now I can look for a specialist to appropriately treat her! I had also taken her last year for another surgical procedure and everybody was amazing. Mr Cuddles, and Deedee can fit in. I doubt other pets were within them. They did an amazing job with my three. Especially with my Patches. who has nervous and also chronic allergies. she always keeps an eye on Mr. Cuddles and Deedee just like she is their mom Lolz. I have three loving and caring babies with paws. that was the only question mark? for if they were surrounded by other pets were those pets vaccinated? they came out to my car picked up my babies and told me the time to return. they did again an amazing job and taken their time with each of my three.
