They have a bunch of helpful books on keeping all the animals they sell and their staff actually know what they're talking about when you ask them specific questions about your animal. There used to be a dude who I would see every time I went to this store and he always covered himself in Budgies and other birds. He was super weird.. I'm glad I don't see him there anymore. If I'm not mistaken, they also have an adoption center for animals from the SPCA. Adorable kittens and friendly pups.. you can play with them if you act like you're serious about adopting them. Since then, we have brought our puppy back multiple times for their bath service. Most employees here have been very friendly and pleasant, but I am deducting a star because I have had some negative interactions with the staff, including one that didn't know how to apply the coupon I recieved from this very store and rejecting it's use. Overall though, it's a great store with (mostly) helpful staff. Their dog wash is super convenient and worth it for $10.

I had booked the appointment online and worried if it did include everything I wanted. So I phoned PetSmart a few days ago asking if my appointment would include trimming the hair on my dogs back end. I was told it did and to just tell the girls what I wanted. I get to the appointment this morning, tell the girls what I want and they tell me they can't do that. Trimming her back end would mean a haircut and that wasn't included in my appointment. I will never go back to Pet Smart again!

It seemed like they overbook themselves for grooming though. When I did book my golden in and stopped back in almost two hours later they still weren't done grooming, had moved on to another dog while mine was only washed, and barking in a kennel in the back. The only reason I probably won't visit again. I'd like to see them finish one dog before moving to the next animal. A little pricey for me too compared to what I'm used to paying.
